Hello, this is History Buzzer.
After 36 years of Japanese colonial rule,
we have been hurt and insulted by the Japanese.
One of them is the export of cultural assets.
This is not only a problem in Korea,
but most of the countries with colonial experience
have taken cultural assets from imperialist countries in the past,
and the powerless colonialist countries
could not protect their own cultural assets.
Many of Korea's precious and valuable cultural assets
are exported abroad,
but of course, Japan is the most focused on them.
Many thieves have taken our cultural assets,
but one of them is the Ogura Collection,
which we should never forget.
Ogura Collection is a personal collection
of Korean cultural assets that Ogura Dakenosuke,
who was active in Daegu,
stole illegally from Korea
or bought illegally.
Ogura Dakenosuke's collection
is over 1,000 pieces.
Ogura Dakenosuke is the son of a Japanese congressman.
After graduating from Tokyo Imperial University Law School,
he worked at the Railway Administration,
and then moved to Sikminji,
where he worked as a guard
and was sent to Daegu.
However, Ogura Dakenosuke,
who wanted to start a business,
quitted his job
and made a lot of money
with land sales and fighting skills.
At that time, it was not so difficult
for a Japanese to come to Sikminji,
which was supported by the Korean Government,
and make money with land sales.
Ogura Dakenosuke was also the first person
to set up an electric company in Daegu
Ogura Dakenosuke's electric company
grew bigger and bigger,
and it became a major company
in charge of electricity
not only in Daegu,
but also in major cities around the country.
Ogura Dakenosuke became a conglomerate
in an instant.
His nickname was
the Electric King of Joseon.
He continued to stay in Daegu
and remained in Daegu,
and Ogura Dakenosuke
also cooperated
Ogura Dakenosuke bought
a total of 5,000 Korean cultural assets
that Ogura Dakenosuke bought
in Sikminji,
which is more than 1,000
of the Korean cultural assets
that Ogura Dakenosuke bought
when he returned to Japan.
He left 4,000 in Korea
because he returned to Japan in a hurry,
but he still took more than 1,000,
so you can guess
how many cultural assets
Ogura Dakenosuke had.
Ogura Dakenosuke bought
1,050 Gogoyumul,
185 Buddhist cultural assets,
225 crafts,
246 Bokshik,
267 Hwa,
a total of 1,073.
I can't introduce
all of them one by one,
so let's look at
the major cultural assets.
First, if you look at Gogoyumul,
you can see the relics of the Sonsashidae,
the Nangrang relics,
and so on.
Since Ogura Dakenosuke
is active in Daegu,
he has the most relics of the Sonsashidae,
Gaya, Nangrang,
and Baekje relics.
For example,
Gyeongapyeong Donggi,
a relic of the Cheongdongji era
excavated in Gyeongju,
Cheongdongimul Matak,
a relic of the Nangrang
excavated in Pyongyang,
Ttigori Jangshik,
a relic of the Cheongdongji era,
Cheongchok,
a relic of the Cheongdongji era,
Korean cultural assets are
29,655 points in 27 countries,
95,622 points in Japan,
