What kind of dream did you have?
You have a bad dream like what?
Nightmare.
Tell me.
Pennywise.
Pennywise? Pennywise?
Yeah, I told you don't be
watching that silly stuff.
Is he attacking you?
Did he get you?
It's not real.
You don't have to worry cause
that stuff's not real.
That's a scary dream.
Pennywise the clown.
He's not real.
It's just a movie and a game and stuff.
You guys need to stop watching that stuff.
What were you watching
last night?
Were you watching that scary stuff
last night?
You don't want to watch that stuff.
It gives you a bad...
Even the way you slept is weird.
Your hair's sticking up.
You're okay now.
Pennywise is not real.
He's a
fictional character.
It means it's not real.
It's just a person with makeup on
playing a scary clown
which is not real.
You don't have to worry about that stuff.
Like zombies.
All that stuff's not real.
I hate
scary dreams.
I hate scary dreams.
It does not feel good.
Good morning guys.
Don't worry.
Daddy will beat up Pennywise
and throw him in the dumpster.
We'll throw him in the sewer.
Right?
Daddy's not gonna let that happen.
Because he's not real too.
Go have a nice break.
Are you okay?
I'm okay.
I love you.
I'm gonna cut your nails man.
It's so long.
What happened?
What happened in the dream?
Did he run after you?
And you were running?
You couldn't hide from him?
Did he get you?
What happened?
What did he do?
Like that?
Don't worry about that buddy.
It's not real.
You hungry?
You want some water?
You wanna drink?
Yo guys.
What's up? The kids are up.
Josephin just woke up.
Brayden had that nightmare
or really bad dream.
He was crying.
I hate having dreams like that.
He's okay.
It took him a little bit to calm down.
I'm gonna make them breakfast here in a sec.
He's not hungry right now.
Usually they aren't right when they wake up.
Anyway, I wanted to address this comment
because I was just looking through comments
and this one stood out because it's so funny
and I had something to say.
This guy named Phillip Wade
he said, whatever his real name is.
He said
It's your fault
all the time.
You know what I'm angry?
What I'm angry about is that
you let your kids suffer.
And what he's referring to is that
this is a comment from
when I'm filing
I'm sending the paperwork for
the immigration for my wife
and my kids can already come here.
They're already American citizens. They're set.
He's referring to them suffering
there in the Philippines
growing up.
You wanna hear what I have to say about that?
I know that's what he's talking about.
Being raised here in the states
in this American education system
give me a break.
Okay, I mean
maybe you guys have different opinions
than me, but what I think
is that I wouldn't trade it
for the world. I wouldn't trade
having my kids raised
at that level all the way up
to where they are now.
I would not trade it.
I'm so happy that they lived
and had a childhood in the Philippines.
There was a lot that
the states
would not be able to
they wouldn't have had
growing up here.
There's so much.
You want me to name some?
Their family. My family's super small here
and we all see each other
for gatherings and stuff, but my family's
pretty much gone. If you know our whole
story or you know some backstory
about us. Or my family
and stuff. I got my grandpa here.
My uncle is somewhere
right now. He's retiring
and then my other family's
in Idaho
and different places
and then up in Canada.
So they're all spread out
and it's not like it was before
when we always go to grandma's or their great
grandparents.
I can't wait for them to see grandpa.
But anyway, the family
all of Jonalyn's family, my family
my in-laws are there
in the Philippines. They never
would have met Tata, Nana, everybody.
My Uncle Randy, everybody.
All those people who impacted
their lives for the better.
They're always
there for our family.
All of our family there is there
for us.
See that's what I'm saying. I wouldn't trade that.
Why would I want to trade that?
For them to be here and lonely
when they're not being able
to have that.
They wouldn't have been able to experience
being with grandparents
besides my grandpa.
Great grandparents.
Yeah, my parents are gone.
That's one thing is
I wouldn't trade that for the world.
I would not want them being raised here.
It's different for everyone.
It's different for everyone, right?
What else?
Today's Sunday guys, by the way.
My ADD's got my brain going everywhere.
Today's Sunday, we're waiting for Monday
to roll around so we can get back to work.
I got some stuff to file, some other stuff
like my registration,
I had to do the title change.
Anyway, back to this guy's
comment.
He said that
I made them suffer
by living there.
Hey Filipinos, do you agree that you guys are
suffering by living there?
I don't think so. Why do all
the Filipinos miss the Philippines?
Look at Itching.
There's so many
Filipinos that miss, they're going to
miss the Philippines. They were born there.
It's different abroad.
The Philippines is
unique and special
and that's why they love it and go back.
I'm gonna tell you guys an off story before I forget.
There's kids here that don't
address me by Kuya.
I've lived in the Philippines for so long that
the kids here that are younger than me
don't address me by Kuya.
I'm like on the edge.
You better put some respect on that.
You better say Kuya Brian, but they don't know better.
Now I can kind of see how
Filipinos are here.
Even the other people, I'm going to call them
by their titles like Kuya, Ate,
they really appreciate that.
I can feel it now.
I understand because I've lived in the Philippines.
I know the culture.
Yeah.
But would I ever
trade places
for my kids growing up? Would I go back
in time and change anything?
No. I would have them here.
The only thing I would do is file
the stuff sooner so that we could come over
right now because now we want to come over here.
Now we gotta wait.
So that's okay.
We're okay. That's not a problem.
I want to go back because
I have my investments. I want to
do so much stuff. If I'm over here
it's going to be tough.
I can't focus on one thing.
I'm sorry guys. I need
some medicine
or something. Language.
Education system, right?
I was talking about education system.
Here, okay, they learned
some bad language there too, but
not as much. There's more
positive stuff there. Like the kids
cleaning and learning how to
cook and stuff in school.
They're in the Philippines. Here, it's like
bruh. Everyone's complaining about
the school system. Even Kathleen doesn't
like the lunches here.
I never complained. Back in the day
I never complained about the pizza, but
supposedly the pizza's really terrible
at that
public school that her and Michael
are going to. They had separate
schools. Michael's still in elementary and
Kathleen went to middle school. Education
system, language.
Do you think my kids would be able to
speak and learn Tagalog
and Visaya here
as well? No. They
speak Visaya fluently. They might not know
some big words, but they speak
Visaya fluently.
Which is amazing. They speak
it so fast that I said, what'd you say?
I didn't understand
what they said to their mother.
If they were raised here
there's no way
they would've been so well
versed in Visaya and even
learning Tagalog. Kathleen's already there in Tagalog.
Michael's barely learning that.
They wouldn't have been so
articulate in that language.
No way. They have way more practice.
Period. Way more practice.
Way more relatives and people
visiting. Showing them love.
Being there for the big birthdays.
It's more private.
Here it's harder to hang out with people.
You wave to people in the morning
like your neighbors. It's
harder to build a group here.
There's so many family oriented things in the Philippines.
That's why people go
back because they miss all those family
gatherings and all that stuff.
Unless somehow they have all their family over here
or wherever they are in
the world. But there's things in the
Philippines that you can't get here.
And there's other things that you can.
Physical stuff.
Like corned beef.
Argentina corned beef or beef loaf.
Pansy Canton. Bear brand. Blah blah blah.
Yeah.
So that comment. Anyway I don't want to drag this on.
I know it's already long but
that comment. And I just want to tell you guys
how I feel about
having my kids live over there and
growing up in the Philippines.
It's going to be a little different for Brayden
and Josephine but Josephine's already
she's already getting
it in Visayas. She can speak
pretty well. And as long as
we keep speaking Visayas
and eventually Tagalog
in the family. I gotta work on Tagalog.
I think it'll be easier.
Anyway as long as we're doing that
I think the kids will be able to
speak all the languages
that are spoken in our household.
Even though it'll be tougher
for Brayden and Josephine. See how
that is? Because they're younger and they're going to be moving
over here to the States. It's going to be
tougher for them to learn.
Because they're not going to hear it everywhere.
There's so many things.
There's so many great things about the Philippines.
So there's no way
my kids suffered. Are you
kidding me? What?
And you guys comment down below
what you guys think about that.
