Hi, in this video I will show you how to sew such a beautiful triangle cloth.
You can use the instructions for both children and adults.
What you need for this are fabrics, of course. I took these two fabrics here.
Both are stretchable fabrics, so you could use jersey or suede for this.
I now lay these two fabrics right on top of each other, so that I can look at the beautiful sides.
I'll show you here which measurements the fabrics should have.
I have now taken a width of 1,40 cm and a height of 40 cm.
Now fold these two fabrics as follows.
And now I cut from this corner down to the other corner.
Folded apart, the whole thing now looks like this.
And now I sew all around together, but leave a turn opening here.
I do this with a normal straight stitch, but you can also sew the whole thing with an overlock, a zigzag stitch or a fake overlock stitch.
Don't forget to leave a turn opening.
Here we have the turn opening.
But before I turn, I cut off the corners here.
And I do this very close to the seam. I'll show you this up close.
This way we can stuff the corners later.
Then you don't have these bumps, but you can stuff them nice and tight.
And now we turn the whole thing over.

And now I'll close the turn opening here.
I do this with a mattress stitch.
So basically an invisible seam.

Before we're done, I'll add a leather patch here.
I always like this, especially with handmade things.
It's just a little detail that really makes a difference.
I'll sew over it with the sewing machine.
And then our triangle is ready.
