Today, more and more companies are changing the codes
and developing a new model that combines several intelligences,
including the spiritual intelligence.
We went to meet these pioneers to understand this spiritual intelligence
and what it can bring to the world of work.
In general, if we want to be able to lead people,
motivate them, inspire them,
we need an intellectual quotient,
our ability to process, to manage information.
We are taught this very well in schools, in universities.
We also need an emotional quotient,
our ability to interact,
to be able to look at a problem with the other person's eye.
But that's not enough.
To really become, I think, a enlightened and enlightening leader,
we need a spiritual quotient.
I think that the word spiritual can be scary in a company.
So, as a manager, it's not something I want to claim.
On the other hand, it's an internal process
that is necessarily seen from the outside
and that will subtly change our daily lives,
our decisions, our ways of living together,
our ways of working together.
Spiritual intelligence at work,
for me, is what goes beyond the types of intelligence
that we already work with in companies.
Going to look for intelligence,
intelligence that is not the one we will often look for there.
Mathematical logic, which is very interesting,
is not enough,
especially in the complex world we are living in.
So, I think that the complexity and the speed
at which things go for us entrepreneurs,
they need to find new tools
and tools with which they are perhaps less square,
but which nevertheless have a real accuracy.
It brings forth the collective intelligence of everyone
and skills that we would not have suspected at first
in one or the other,
a confidence in oneself and in others.
Spiritual intelligence is listening to one's soul path,
to one's mission.
And so, I would say that probably,
as far as I am concerned,
I have a search for contribution
around the fact of putting the company back
in the service of a wider and nobler societal cause.
Developing this intelligence
allows us access to intuition,
therefore a much more innovative mind.
Then, it develops a relational capacity
between people of high quality,
a communication in the heart.
And spirituality is not necessarily associated with religion.
Spirituality can be neutral.
The difference between religion and spirituality
is that religion is collective
and spirituality is individual.
Religion, we could say, is group spirituality.
So, both can be reconciled,
but it can be dissociated.
You can have spiritual and non-religious people
who do not participate in any church,
no institution,
no man,
no collective belief,
who lead their spirituality in a personal way.
It is more and more frequent today.
And for me, spirituality is to question
the meaning of existence
and try to improve as a human being,
to grow in humanity.
Discernment,
collective intelligence,
trust,
intuition,
creativity,
meaning.
So many reasons to draw from this
so particular form of intelligence.
In this film, we address this spiritual intelligence
in the world of work
from three different angles,
yet complementary.
The individual,
the collective,
and society.
What is difficult in this ever-changing world
is not having the impression
that we are caught up in events.
And for me,
spiritual intelligence is really
being able to sit down
to think about what is happening to us
and to experience it
through our body, our heart,
and our intelligence.
And to take this space of retreat
so as not to be completely submerged
by the wave that rages like a tsunami,
but to be able to find its place
in an adjusted way.
For me, spiritual intelligence
is knowing that I have a mind
that can serve me for many things,
but that I can decide to rest.
And I have another space,
rather deep inside me,
that brings me other keys,
other readings of the situation
that I am experiencing.
So it is another source of information,
another source of reflection,
another intelligence,
that I use to enrich
my mental intelligence.
Spiritual intelligence
and intuitive intelligence
connect us to a global vision.
In fact, our two brain hemispheres
will function in harmony.
With the right hemisphere,
I have the synthesis vision,
and with the left hemisphere,
I have a 360-degree vision.
When I am stuck in my mind,
it is rather my left brain
that will function with a partial vision,
a vision of detail.
When I am in my body,
in my feeling,
connected to this spiritual intelligence,
my brain functions in its entirety,
which allows me to anticipate,
to have this vision
of the context,
of the market,
of the objectives,
of the contingency,
of everything that will be necessary
to carry out the project
for which I work.
