Pep Guardiola Press Conference | Wolves vs Man city Live Premier League

obviously rodri's missing for this game can you tell us who else might be missing from your squad please the other Pleasers who else might be missing yeah uh we have train this afternoon but I think John is still not ready Kevin is not ready I think the rest is fine berado Silva is okay then berado Sila is not okay so I don't know if yeah maybe some someone else but now I don't have in my mind anyone else you may have forgotten or not that no think so but maybe can on John did you expect him to be back by now he's better he's much better yest spoke with him it feels really good training alone but maybe I don't know today is Friday maybe next week or after lepi maybe we be real restart are you going to miss him even more without rodri as well because obviously that position he was playing towards the end of last season what it is what it is so I have a tendency as a football player as a manager that always I'm it's a Pity but you are not are not so have to find a solution so we are not here to complain you know but the players want to come back want to be ready want to be with us but with football happen injures is injures they have to recover with our people to be ready in as quick as possible what do you expect from your team against wolves given the result the other night and the disappointment around that uh I were disappointed the the game was really good so the people see that the three we don't care the car c saying that is like a make a statement that when you win four times in a row what never team has done before so have to mly respect what they have done so they play really good the first half they increased the Rhythm because they could not accept the game in the second half like we happened in the first half and uh and it's football you win games you lose games so yeah we we were disappointed the night the day after but today focus in the next one thank you hi I um just when you talking about changing the Rhythm on uh Wednesday night against Newcastle part of those changes in the second half was bringing Jeremy dku on a lot has been made on social media this week about Jack Gish versus Jeremy doku how one might move the other one out of the squad and I just wanted to see how you view those two players well Jeremy can playing right as well so who's going to play more who's going to per perform better are they in direct comp with each are they in direct competition with each other or do you see it Jack can play in left too so and you compete with fil Fallen as well so the guy who perform well they fit better and the other one is going to more chances to play always have been like that um Jeremy's just had over a month here now I think the same with Mattis Nunes kovic vardal how have you viewed their first month six weeks or so in more more than impressed with any once all of them the level is play playing is a high high level all of them cuz a lot of the time it's said that players need a season to get used to you and your your strategies but they they're hitting the ground some some of them the other one they can click quickly uh finally woles everyone will see this possibly is a easy game for Manchester City but what have you made to their start of the Season yeah normally all the games we play are easy yeah yeah yeah it's happen so we don't win the Premier League for 10 points in front in November is a is a so I know I know exactly what it is so incredible respect always we struggle in bolves and when you see the quality individually that they have especially up front with Netto with kuna with h the Korean guy and they are really really good L me as a top player the fullbacks there are offensively and the manager oil that make an incredible job last season in Bournemouth and I had the feeling they will do it too so the results didn't maybe get back but the game against Brighton that they lost one for the first half the chances they miss against Liverpool the first half they have a chances to to score more goals than one so is a team that the quality is there we struggle always involved but hopefully we can respond and with these three games before International break hi P you mentioned when players aren't available it's about finding solutions to not having them is rodri one of the more difficult players to find a solution for when he is absent well just for the fact the amount of games minutes are played the consistency in many many things of course it's not easy to to replace but is is out we are going to find another quality another skills that Ry maybe he hasn't we are going to use it for the benefit for the team when a player is missing it presents opportunities for players and for coaches does it give you a chance to try different things to to see what other players can offer then no no no no we're going to try to do the similar things we have done in The Season's years and I would say he was not bad what did you make of Calvin's contribution in midweek and how close is he to your thoughts for this weekend I have a chance like the other ones have a chance like the other ones yeah do you sense this as an opportunity for him you spoke recently about the fact he's not quite adapted as much as he could have a little bit difficult just have to be a big opportunity for him he's part of the group he making contributions playing not regularly but last don't playing and uh uh I don't any complaints about that so sometimes we are looking for something specific for some positions like some players have another Ty by type of skills when the game is a little bit Kyle is Kyle sorry Calvin is perfect one when the game has to be everything in the details maybe struggle a little bit more so but look the the game when Newcastle was a tough game he was already there his physicality the game he help us a lot to win against Nottingham Forest or sustain the two zero one play the second half so yeah have a specific specific qualities got some
