it is official women live 6 years longer
than men in America do and that life
expectancy gap between the two genders
is only going to increase what is going
on so you're saying instead of that
movie series Grumpy Old Men it's going
to be grumpy old women or happy old
women depending on the situation anyway
guys this is some big news because
actually the life expectancy in America
has dropped for the first time in
several decades uh actually two years
despite medical advances in technology
so this sparked a ton of comments across
the internet so make sure you like
subscribe and turn your notifications
man but one thing that while you are
here that's going to make your life
tasty it's smalla sauce it is shipping
out right now made in America it's vegan
it's high quality we're very proud of it
and it tastes very very good so uh
according to the National Center for
Health statistics uh they're examining
mortality data Andrew women have always
lived longer than men in America for a
century however that Gap is getting
bigger maybe it was 2 years three years
four years 5 years now it's all the way
at 6 years and it is due to the
following factors accidental injuries
makes sense diabetes suicide homicide
heart disease um women do less drugs or
they're less likely to be heavily
addicted to them uh men are more likely
to be incarcerated work dangerous jobs
be homeless they have a higher burden of
disease and they have a difference in
health behaviors women are much much
much more likely statistically to seek
preventative care when they see
something kind of going down the wrong
road with their health whereas guys
usually by the time they see the doctor
statistically it might be too far gone
no guys really don't want to see the
doctor we're just like no it's just
growing but don't worry about it and
then yeah and uh just the overall us
life expectancy went down uh Pro
probably fueled by covid and deaths of
Despair which are uh factors related to
Suicide drug use alcoholic liver disease
uh economic hardship depression and
stress so a little bit of a uh Downer
but we I think the most important thing
is like everybody got a weigh in on why
that is cuz I don't think anybody's
really like shocked by this yeah I guess
I'm not really shocked but seeing how
the world is and how many like
substances people like to do and how
much like guys are doing stupid things
for the clout like there's this whole
Instagram page called like men doing
stupid things or something or or you
always see that little comment this is
why men's life expectancy rate is lower
than women when you see the guys uh Wing
gliding through the mountains yeah or
the guys who are doing like the the the
show like car things that get hit
climbing buildings without any sort of
wires yeah just Reckless stuff that's
like in a way kind of pointless
obviously guys are also productive too
they work a lot of the hard jobs but
they also want to just do a bunch of
Reckless stuff right right right you're
talking about construction jobs you're
up on a crane you're up on a ladder
somewhere I does it matter that a lot
more men are probably in the military on
the front line you know type thing I
mean all those things are factored in
guys I mean listen War still like in
terms of on the ground combat it's still
like probably 99% men as far as soldiers
wise and then also uh I know that
there's a stat that says women go to
school more than men like go to college
more than men like women are starting to
outnumber men with with college degrees
so right in the undergraduate I I would
assume that the more you go to school
maybe the less likely you're going to do
reckless stuff yeah you're not going to
take on those short life behaviors um I
think at the end of the day my quick
thought is like man the life of a man
and a woman and I'm talking about in a
large generalized sense I'm not talking
about everybody on an individual basis
your situation could be different
they're pretty different even in 2023
yeah like I just always thought like a
man felt like he had to go out and do
things whereas the life of a woman it
was almost like more incoming emails and
guys you're almost always sending out
outgoing emails yeah and I think in a
super General sense and um women's life
expectancy is 93 guys's life expectancy
is 73 essentially that's what accounts
for the difference you mean 79 oh no I'm
sorry 79 and 73 that's the six year and
um I do think in stem and Tech it's
almost like the lifestyle between the
men and the women does not have as big
of a gap but in more like old school
Fields it's almost like the woman's at
home and the guy's like up on a rooftop
somewhere you know what I'm saying like
I'm saying in stem and Tech and Medicine
it seems like the lifestyles are more
standardized between a male and a female
like tech software engineer yeah I guess
I'd also be interested to know the life
expectancy of men and women immigrants
to America because I think like there
are more immigrants to America than
there was in the past and so I don't
know if because like saying that might
be skewing it a lot more men like I
don't know I don't know who's more
immigrant men or women maybe men because
they usually come over first to work
generally yeah migrants are probably
mostly men if you made me guess um a lot
of people and we're going to get into
this Andrew they basically say it goes
back to the caveman days testosterone
versus estrogen testosterone leads you
to just have more high-risk behaviors
and highrisk behaviors lead to high-risk
volatile outcomes whe whether that's a
upside outcome or in this case obviously
leading to the lower median average of
lifespan downside outcomes
yeah um the tea the testosterone pills
man everybody's taking up the
testosterone pills I do think Asian guys
to be honest they are a little bit
different in the sense that Asian guys
you know I don't know Asian culture in
General Andrew it is little bit less
volatile in my opinion whether it's due
to Buddhism or I don't even know I mean
I'm sure there's like a million reasons
but if you just look at the stats of
Asian people in general whether that's
uh you know just crime or like just
certain volatile behaviors is way low
yeah yeah yeah I would I would suspect
that the Asian
male life expectancy in America is
probably past the regular proba
significantly higher honestly if you
made me bet we pop it up right here um I
would say that other people might be
like yeah but that's cuz Asian guys got
lower testosterone that's why you guys
are more feminine and feminine means you
live longer huh Asian guys I don't know
you know what for me I would say it's
not really actually I don't think Asian
guys have lower testosterone but I do
think the oxytocin where you that leads
to behaviors and how you express that
testosterone with IRL behaviors is
different whether it's culturally or
whatever genetically just any decision
or desire that's going to lead you down
a path of like substance abuse or risky
behavior um I think those things
definitely are damaging people's life
expectancy and there's a lot of
substances out there it's very easy to
get well I mean Andrew just look at the
celebrity desk that we've seen over the
past year or something like that how
many we're guys right and we're going to
see more celebrity desk guys you know
also why because there are also more
celebrities now yeah that's a good point
want to hear about it more let's get
into the comment section somebody said I
uh saw this study that only looked at
monks and nuns because they live very
similar very structured repetitive days
of work in prayer there was not a big
significant difference in life
expectancy between the men and the women
when they're monks but the thing is
99.9999999% of people are not monks
right right right yeah I mean it goes to
show you that I think the lives are
different right um in Iceland and Japan
and or those are the other two countries
that are very very high in Iceland the
gap between men and women is only three
years but the Gap in Japan is still six
years even though overall Japan is
higher than America so it goes to show
you that there's still a difference and
probably possibly it goes to the uh work
culture salary men etc etc drinking sake
late nights with the boss who knows the
Shogun it um that you know um so people
said you know statistically if you're
just born into a rich country and you
eat a lot of fish and you your country
doesn't really allow drugs and alcohol
and excess you'll just live really
really really really long obviously
referring to Japan and Iceland yeah yeah
yeah probably um somebody said overall
life expectancies going down somebody
was saying well you know I just think
that women have also picked up a lot of
bad habits that were traditionally male
now a lot of women excess smoke eat
rubbish and party and
fornicate do do you think that's
true I I don't know I I guess I mean
listen if everybody it don't sound wrong
I don't know if everybody does more
risky Behavior what do you think's going
to happen but then somebody said yolo
isn't it about the quality of life and
not the length see here's the thing
Andrew what is quality of life yeah yeah
so this is a debate guys you let me know
in the comments down below is it better
to just live until you're
85 or live a crazier life until you're
like
65 honestly I I mean look at the just
the whole statement of YOLO I'm here for
a good time not a long time more people
nowadays especially our age and younger
are choosing to live the more Dynamic
lifestyle dopamine shorter wild core
memories release a lot of dopamine
oxytocin throughout your shorter life
because they're just going to assume
those last 15 20 years of life anyways
what does it mean what are you going to
do somebody said Evolution has
determined since that women are the
better more practical ones who
contribute more positively that we
should live longer survival of the
better quality we don't need egos pride
and vanity and domineering attitudes so
evolution is now just curtailing men
this was a uh you know the whole you
know it this turned into a you know Pro
male Pro women testosterone versus
estrogen argument um somebody said uh
you know I'm an older man and I realized
I always wanted to live a good life
really long long life but now that I'm
older at 80 I'm I'm pretty much ready
for this thing to be
over I mean I think it matters a lot
like the life that you set up for
yourself right like if you're enjoying
grandkids and everybody's got a good
relationship together uh you know
everybody's situation is so different
people said that men and orw
statistically really handle divorce very
badly they're less likely to get
remarried they separate themselves from
their families they said the kids have a
natural tendency to cling to Mom because
obviously the kids were birthed by Mom
so basically the guys uh you know
sometimes it's almost like a death
sentence while living wow yeah I think a
lot of people would be shocked to
realize that men I believe commit
suicide at a higher rate a certain
segment of men actually commit suicide
at a higher rate than women right even
the women attempt more the guys have a
much higher success rate statistically I
would say this man there I there
certainly needs to be a uh more talk
around mental health availability
availability for guys and taking the
stigma way because for sure um somebody
said life expectancy is not just genes
biology and Physiology it is
biobehavioral if men are apt to engage
in physically risky Behavior such as
jumping off a cliff diving off Niagara
Falls go on ketogenic diets for a year
on very high protein to build muscles
and for example that could keto is good
Andrew but for certain people with like
liver and kidney problems is not good
like you got to like consult your doctor
before you go on Hardcore keto and um
basically men are also like basically
isolate themselves a lot more um
somebody said please everybody guys it
actually goes back to diet everybody is
eating horrible refined carbs in America
eat a Mediterranean diet and be happy
how much of it if it is like the food
pyramid CU for the longest time Andrew
the government in America actually had
the food pyramid wrong is food getting
better in America or worse like I feel
like better than the 90s it's got to be
better than the 90s because if you think
about it all the preserved food in the
90s was probably worse than the
preserved food nowadays and nowadays
there's just more options but do you
think that people are making the right
choices it almost feels like there's
more Fitness gurus than there's ever
been like that are like 50 or 60 you can
see these buff guys on YouTube with like
six packs but then maybe the average
person is making like as bad choices as
they ever
have there's more fast food I don't know
man I don't want to blame it on the food
I don't think the food's the biggest
Factor man I'm not I'm not buying it I'm
not buying that the that I think it's
lifestyle okay well I got some more
theories for you for you to give your
let's go with the theories somebody said
it's really the pharmaceutical companies
testing everything else on us Americans
man just medicine pills trying to make
existing conditions worse so basically
you every everybody's just taking pills
for everything but nobody's really
adjusting their life all this stuff is
not a cure it's just designed as prolong
to Keep Us Alive to you know drain
Insurance of money uh and then somebody
else said no no no come on don't give it
as excuse you just are what you eat it
all goes back to that old adage you are
what you eat I mean you have choices in
life I think that's the point yeah
somebody said no it's because nobody's
caring about men anymore and this kind
of led to like a whole you know like
more like a manosphere talking point
being like men are very ignored and
people always want to talk about the uh
pay wage Gap but nobody's talking about
this life expectancy Gap because men are
just expected to be super masculine
protect the family and then be super
subservient at home nowadays and almost
like it's just too much for me to handle
and it's too much for guys to handle
right um yeah I I don't know I mean it's
just interesting right now I don't know
Andrew ultimately there's so much
arguing back and forth there was
feminist opinions manosphere opinions of
course anything nowadays with the gender
it just turns into this whole thing and
Andrew Tate versus whoever else is on
the other side um why is it with
increasing technology in healthare
increasing access to healthare uh people
can see more go on the internet find out
pretty much any ailment people got air
pryers you can cook clean proteins and
vegetables from Trader Joe's as much as
you want why are life expectancies going
down and why is the gap widening between
women and
men here's my take and you give yours
David I think one factor that a lot of
people are not talking about is what's
something that would make you want to
live longer cuz sometimes your body will
go if you don't care to live any longer
right like you the Mind goes before the
body goes yeah no I just mean like if
you're old and you're just like got
nothing nothing to do with your life you
have no purpose you have no kids you
have no nothing to live for your body's
going to
go but if you have a reason to live a
job something you do something that
drives you your body's going to your
body's strong enough it'll keep going
right so I think part of it and I don't
know what level where this ranks on the
the list of reasons why right cuz there
was like 20 I think maybe people are
just deciding that they don't want to
live longer like they they feel like
they don't have a purpose to live longer
mhm so as people have less kids or no
kids perhaps the life expectancy does go
down because if you're uh if you got
grandkids you're you're going to want to
live for your grandkids you want to be
part of their life but if you have no
kids and no grandkids then maybe you're
just be like well I saw and ate
everything I did I could and I guess I'm
good because I fulfilled my desires you
know do you think it some of it is even
being dismayed with the direction of the
world and that may or may not be a
realistic perception of the world cuz if
you're just tuned in media it seems like
the whole world is going well a lot of
people are not having kids because they
feel like the world is troubling and
they don't want to birth a kid into the
troubling World anyways guys listen kids
have been born in F famines and wars and
all that stuff but anyways regard
previous times in history were worse
than now but perception Jud I'm not
judging your decisions I'm just saying
that it is true if you're not driven by
a purpose in life you'll probably your
body will probably just give and be like
all right bro you got nothing else to do
you're bored
just you're chilling like just go let is
it interesting that families like born
back during like the black plague or
something like that they wanted to have
like 10 kids just could so two could
survive and now people are like it's not
even worth it this world is too troubled
I'm not even going to have one exactly
that's that's I guess they would say
that's Evolution so anyways guys that's
my little factor that nobody talked
about I would say one overlooked Factor
I'm I'm going to bring it back to your
YOLO point about like I just think that
these short life behaviors for men are
actually incentive vised because like we
said if and this is a generality I'm not
speaking it for every individual I'm
talking about if if a lot of men's job
is to send outgoing emails and women is
to handle incoming emails right in like
I'm not saying it's for everybody but
it's in a generality sense right guys
are being incentivized more and more to
be like lit and Chase the big home run
Grand Slam clout that is highly volatile
cuz they're like I need to do it when
I'm young I need to be this crazy crypto
kid I need to be this crazy clout kid
now because I can get so much dopamine
and it could set me up for the rest of
my life and I'm willing really willing
to gamble at all to get that now yeah I
do think chasing dopamine in your 20s
and 30s whether that's if you're a man
that's chasing the attention of women
that's chasing substance use that's
chasing Fame and Cloud substance use is
driven for like oh it's going to make me
a better artist and my Art's going to
blow up and I'm going to become big or
like it's going to put me in this mind
State I just feel like I'm the J or this
more charismatic I mean literally I'll
get more girls if I do substances you
know so there's that too so yeah man I
don't know you guys let us know in the
comments down below what you think are
the main factors that are not being
talked about because again just to sum
up what they said in the beginning they
were like accidental injuries diabetes
suicide homicide heart disease I'm sure
these are all large factors but what
about the other ones that people aren't
talking about men are much much much
more statistically likely to own a gun
but are you using it to hunt animals
you're gonna use it on most likely
another man or yourself all right
everybody let us know in the comments
