During the reign of Wat Urenggong with Purohita Dang Hyang Nirarta, in the 16th century, a grand ceremony will be held at Puroh Besakih. This was heard by a Brahmin monk who was still a relative of Dang Hyang Nirarta. And he wanted to attend the ceremony. Then he made a journey through the forest to Gel-Gel Palace. But unfortunately, the palace was deserted because everyone had gone to Puroh Besakih. The Brahmin monk decided to go there. Unfortunately, when he arrived at Besakih, he was stopped by the people to meet in Wat Urenggong and Dang Hyang Nirarta. Because he was considered a madman because of his dirty appearance. Even inside, he did not admit it and was angry when he saw the Brahmin monk from a distance. Before the Brahmin monk left, he cursed the ceremony. It will not succeed and there will be a disaster. It turned out that after the ceremony, what became the curse of the Brahmin monk happened. Finally, in Wat Urenggong, he asked the people to find the Brahmin monk and found him lying in the village of Sidekarya. Then he asked him to lead the Nakhluk Merana ceremony. Since then, in Wat Urenggong, he issued a decree. So that every big ceremony in Bali, the Brahmin monk is present in existence, in Sidekarya.
