Hi guys! Hello! Welcome to another vlog. So right now we are in Puglia.
So if you have... Such great pronunciation babe. Puglia. Puglia, we worked very hard. Yeah so if you have
watched our previous... Okay guys so our vlog battery died so we have to vlog with our phone now
because we also need to save the battery of our camera, our other camera that we use for photos.
So yeah so this was the last option and we absolutely wanted to show you
Alberobello because it's like a fairytale town. So we hope the quality and the sound is okay.
So Nicola is always a photographer for other people as well.
We're eating cherries in the car. Look what Nicola's got.
Just like true babies. I don't think I've ever seen cherries like that.
We're just going to eat them. No we have to vlog this. It is three cherries. Honestly I think this
is really special. I have never seen it. Ever. I don't think Nicola should eat it. Maybe we should share it.
Share it.
So in the meantime we made it to the next town which is Polignano a Mare.
Something like that. We have no idea how to pronounce it. There are some people cliff jumping as well which is
really cool to watch. I'm sorry. And apparently this whole region has such an amazing food scene
so we will just taste a lot of food I think. So if you guys like food, stay tuned because it's going to be amazing.
Let's do it and gain some more weight. We haven't been eating a lot of pasta and pizza lately. This is like starting to
crumble. I wish it was coming here though.
It's time to try some food like we said because the food scene here is amazing. So
trying it out. It's like all fresh made. We saw them making it right here.
What does it say?
Is it good? Okay I'm going to try mine as well.
You're just eating dough. Take a bite. The dough is good. The dough is really good.
So we are having something like this. It's different. You can choose the filling.
We haven't been vlogging a lot anymore in the last few hours but in the meantime we arrived in
Ostrini. We are so tired. Yeah we're so tired. We need a drink. We need to sleep. No we need a drink first.
Yeah we need a fresh drink and then we need to sleep. Well we need food as well. But anywho
so yeah we're walking around a little bit here. On our way to a restaurant. Yeah recommendation
by one of our followers. Yeah so yeah we're pretty excited to try it out. The sunset is
super beautiful. I don't know if you can see it. No we cannot see it but it's really beautiful. It's like all
pink.
So we got a recommendation from one of you guys that we should come and eat here and have a drink
here. Nikolas is working on something. So this is like the first dish. We ordered like a lot of small
dishes so this is the first thing that came but there's a lot more coming and this place is super
cute. So much food you guys. But it's really cheap. It's delicious. We'll probably pay 30 euros.
Yeah I think so too. Okay guys the food keeps coming. We have no idea what we ordered because
we had the feeling that we weren't ordering a lot of food right? Thank god the waiter said I wouldn't
take the pasta because that will be too much. This is insane. No way we are hungry. You guys this is too much.
How much is the bill for all this food? 36 euros.
Good morning guys. It is the next day. So we charged our vlog camera so we can finally vlog again.
Do you see the difference? I think there's a big difference. You think this is better? I think so.
So yesterday we vlogged everything with our iphone as you probably saw. I am not wearing my blue cap
today. That's weird. And I shaved. Nikolas looks different. Yesterday evening we had an amazing
dinner as you probably saw and today we're visiting Monopoly. Monopoly. Monopoly.
We have no idea. So we're visiting that place and we're going to visit a lot of different towns today.
So I will show you around and take you with us. By the way. By the way. I feel like I'm having a good
hair day but Laura is always cutting my head off right here when she vlogs. I'm sorry. Oh like this?
Yeah. Okay so I need to put it like this? Yeah. Okay. So sorry. Nikolas is like taller than me so it's like really hard.
Such a struggle. So today we found airplane tickets to Greece as well. Oh yeah we did.
Sorry. So next month we will probably go to Greece which is super exciting. I think we're going to do
three weeks in Greece. We're going to do some touristic spots like Santorini, Mykonos
but we'll also go off the beaten path if you can call it that and do some lesser known islands.
Definitely vlog that. So make sure to subscribe to our channel if you don't want to miss out on some
epic Greece vlog. So yesterday when we were in Polignano a Mare we ate like some ice pralines
or like I don't know what it was exactly. It's like these small ice things and we're seeing it
here again in Monopoli. So we need to try it again. What are you doing? I have a splinter.
Cool story bro. Can you help get it out? Yeah I will help you and then we're going to get ice cream.
Laura is taking pictures of absolutely everything again. Every wall, every window.
We were a bit wrong about Monopoli. It isn't very much big city vibe because you have like
a lot of small cute little streets but like in the beginning we thought it was going to be...
Yeah I think it's because like where we parked like a little bit outside of like the really old
old town I think. So it was like all big streets and it was like not really a vibe but of course
like once we started walking around like more towards the sea and like the port. It is really
really cute. Yeah it's really beautiful. Like we passed so many like nice little restaurants. Yeah.
So it is time now. It does not have the same vibe personally I feel like Polignano a Mare or like
Asturi. Okay. Yeah it's like not my favorite of like what we've visited so far. I'm just thinking
about food right now. Normally Laura is always the one who wants to eat the whole time and now
like in Italy I'm so obsessed with all the food. Finally found a little place to have lunch and
we're going to try one of Puglia's delicacies which is Pucce. Pucce. Pucce. Pucce.
Laura not looking too convinced.
So we just drove half an hour and we have now arrived in Locorotondo. Locorotondo which means
crazy circle. Crazy roundabout. Crazy roundabout because if you look at this
city from the sky you'll see it's like in a round shape and it looks really really cute.
The thing is we're here like in the middle of the day and here in Italy between like 1
and 6 pm a lot of shops tend to close because it's so hot so I don't know if we'll see much
of the town. And also it's Sunday. And it is Sunday so it's like double closure.
Trulli everywhere. Is it is that why you just need a coffee? Yes. Stop being on your phone
while driving. I am looking at the map because my co-driver is constantly filming herself so
I don't know where to drive. So I have to do it myself. Seriously guys I'm just like answering
all your dms. I'm always constantly working when he's driving.
All the way. There's an outlet. Shopping time. It's Sunday.
In the meantime we went back to the campsite to get changed and just like freshen up a little bit.
We went for a little swim because our campsite has a pool. Which is actually really nice. Yeah
it's really nice. It's not one of those dirty campsite pools. It's a pool of a B&B.
It's super beautiful. So yeah we did that and now we're on our way to Ostuni. Yeah where we were
yesterday evening as well. Yesterday it was just like searching for a spot for dinner but we did
not actually stroll around. So we're going to do that now but also we're going to take some photos
because we saw so many beautiful spots yesterday evening. And then we'll probably go back to dinner
to like the same place just because it was so good. Are we the only ones going back to the
same places in cities we don't know? The chance of having a bad meal is too high. It's true.
It's true. So I just prefer going back to the same spot. Once you find the banger.
Yesterday we asked our stories on our Instagram if we should take a photo right here
and you all said yes. So that's what we're doing. Pose baby, pose.
We'll post the results right here. And yeah we're just going to stroll around a little bit.
Okay guys so we just did some shooting right here. I think it will be okay.
Do you think we got the shot? I think we got it. I think it's time for drinks. Yes.
Yes.
I am so happy we're able to do this. Like travel and work at the same time. It makes me happy.
Someone's cold. So cold. I think Laura is drunk. I'm not drunk. I'm just going crazy cold.
How do you call it? Hepatitis? No. Hepatitis? Hypothermic?
She is so drunk.
I'm not drunk. It's just a normal day.
She is defo drunk you guys. All right good night. See you guys tomorrow.
Good morning guys. I still have a sleepy face. So yeah so Nicolas is having a little breakfast here
on the bench. So yeah so this was our camp spot for our first three nights here in Puglia.
And now we're going to drive more south towards the area of Lecce. We'll probably stay in Puglia
for another two days. Okay so our van always turns into like such a big mess.
Okay I'm going to do the dishes over there and then clean up a little bit so then we can start
driving. We just made it to Lecce. It's like I think a little bit of a bigger city here in the
south. So yeah we're just going to stroll around explore a little bit. We got some food
recommendations again from you guys. So we're going to eat a little bit as well. We already
bought something. Yeah we already bought. It is called arancini. Yeah arancini is it that? No I
don't know. Arancini, arancina or something like that. I think it's one arancino due arancini.
I have no idea but anyways. To our Italian followers let us know. Yeah so we're going to
give that a try right now. Arancino with this beautiful background. It's a risotto ball.
Thank you for everyone who recommended arancino.
So time for a little coffee break. Laura's having a coca-cola because she's not feeling very well.
My baby really isn't feeling well. Nothing a coca-cola can't solve though. I always drink
coca-cola when I'm not feeling well. So we just made it to Otranto which is probably like the
furthest south we'll go almost and it's a cool little town. I don't know. I've never been here.
I don't know anything about it. We'll just walk around and show you everything.
Okay so that was Otranto. Not a big fan personally but it's very quiet. Not a lot of people. A lot
of restaurants and bars are closed so there isn't much of a vibe. So I think like in normal periods
like when there's no covid, when there's like a lot of tourists, I think this place is like more
alive because now everything is like empty. So it feels like you're walking around rather than a
ghost town. So right now we are going to find our campsite for tonight. Laura already found one on
the internet so we're gonna drive down there and see if it's nice or not and then I think we'll
just call it an evening because we are both so tired. We're just gonna work a bit, prepare a
little meal, have... I don't know. Do we still have wine? I don't know. I'm not sure actually. So we
are going to go find a supermarket first. Yeah I think so. Because priorities. So we've just arrived at our
campsite and we're gonna do our own little aperitivo. We have beer, we have wine, we have
dried sausage, we have tzatziki, toast with tzatziki to get into the Greek vibes because we are going
to Greece, it's official. Nicholas is so excited. I am too by the way. We have this lovely Italian
plate with lemon. It's actually such a vibe. So Laura's preparing dinner from her seat.
What are we having tonight? I'm having some zucchini because I'm not feeling super well and
I need some veggies and we're going to have surprise pasta. Because pasta is life.
Pasta is life. So yeah I'm not feeling really good today guys so I'm not like the most happy
excited person today but it's real life guys. Especially when we're traveling sometimes you
just get sick and it's not fun not being home when you're sick. Laura wants her own bed
and her mommy. I do. Good morning you guys it's a new day and it's a very early morning. We woke up
at six this morning because we wanted to take a picture right here with the fan and these cliffs.
So when the wind is calm normally like the water is super clear and blue and you can swim here
but now I would not recommend doing it I think.
Okay so we have started our drive back up and our first stop is called Casa Massima. It's actually a
very cute little town that's not very touristic like not touristic at all but we decided to come
here because there are some blue houses which really reminds us of the blue city in Morocco
which is called Chefchouen. Chefchouen? Okay we don't know how to pronounce it. So yeah we thought
we'd stop by here. It's actually weird how we decided to come here just because the houses
have a certain color. I think that it was mostly because we haven't dined to go to the blue city
in Morocco and we haven't made it yet so this was like on the road so I think that's why. But why do
you want to go to the blue city in Morocco? It's just the same houses you find everywhere painted
in blue. Yeah but I think we get attracted by it because our mind likes colors. I don't know but I
think the same with us Geneva. We like the vibe of course and everything but I also think it's
because it's just like a white city with like colorful accents like colorful doors. Why do we
like colorful walls or colorful doors? So if I owned a town or a city and I would paint it completely
pink do you think there would be more tourism? Yeah I think so. I know it's so weird but I do
think so. Okay guys we made it to Matera and it is UNESCO World Heritage and it's UNESCO World
Heritage. So everyone is waiting in line for this ice cream bar so we have to try it as well.
Nicolas is trying to translate everything that's on the menu because he has no idea.
Okay so I'm having licorice, licorice I don't know how to say it and lavender.
It's going to be interesting. Nicolas and I just voted
and we said that this is the best ice cream we ever ate in our life.
Like really this lavender is just so insane.
So while editing this vlog we noticed that we never really finished this video properly
so we really hope you enjoyed this polio vlog and if you liked it please give us a thumbs up
and if you haven't subscribed yet please subscribe to our channel it would mean a lot
and next week we will be back with our first vlog from Greece so please tune in because
that trip was awesome.
