The question remains as to how the massive blast happened in downtown Fort Worth.

it could be worse. That is right out my window. That's how close outside Angelica
Farcar's hair salon. A blast crater swallows the street. This is where the
explosion came up from the bottom of the building. That's what the atmosphere
told me. Incredibly, the salon doesn't have much damage inside. Neither does
the Segway tour company next door. Owner Tim Ballard says. I was pretty
convinced that all of our windows were going to be blown out because it was
right there. It was right there. But Monday's explosion at the same man
hotel is still affecting the bottom line of these small businesses. They
can't open stock show weekend and and and we've turned away business. So that
hurts. The stock show and rodeo itself must now change plans. The parade route
will go down Commerce Street instead of by the damage on Houston. Work
continues to shore up the hotel and roads remain closed. For the first time
today, workers allowed Farcar passed the barricades. She opened her salon
door and smelled gas and I turned on the light and they basically told me
don't turn on any lights and removed me from the building. She says it's clear
now, but until the water and gas are back on. So I'm really we're just wait
and that's the worst part of it. Just sitting and waiting and wondering when
she can get back to work again. Reporting in Fort Worth. I'm Cole
Sullivan.
