Hello guys, welcome back to my channel. I haven't filmed a haul in so long
and I kind of feel like towards the end of winter my inspiration for
outfits was really just running a bit dry to be honest. So
with the change of the season we'll soon be in spring
as of next month, I thought now would be the perfect time to
update my wardrobe a little bit, have a look online and see what the shops are
I very much was loving Mango and other stories
their bits and pieces at the minute is just
the perfect pieces to transition from winter to spring
I have not gone full-blown spring summer but likewise I'm kind of ready to step
out of winter as well. Now granted in the UK our springs aren't exactly
warm let's say, a lot of our spring days can kind of resemble
winter as well so yeah there's some knitwear, there's some
cardigans, there's a couple of dresses, there's some basics
I've got a few bits to show you so I'm going to stop talking and jump straight
into the video. First off starting with Mango, I was
really loving Mango especially some of their knitwear
starting off with this one, this gorgeous black and cream
striped knit, it's got the dropped shoulder detail
with some gold button detail, the fit of this
looks really nice on the website, it kind of nips in
a little bit at the waist so you've got that oversized sort of shoulders look
it looked really flattering on the model so I hope it looks as good on me as it
did on them. I just think this is a really
great piece for when we can, especially for when we can ditch the coats, ditch
the jackets and you can start to wear a few more I'd
statement knitwear pieces, this with a gorgeous pair of jeans,
trousers, shorts, skirts, so easy to wear and to be honest I don't really have any
striped knits so yeah I always like to
incorporate a stripe into my wardrobe especially
going into spring so I'm going to try this on for you now and show you what it
looks like. Okay so this is the jumper on, firstly
love the fit, I've just popped it on with these kind of off-white
trousers that I got from Reece just for a little bit of a different look
I actually really love how they look with a lighter trouser
especially as this will probably be how I
tend to lean towards styling them going into the spring
and the sleeve length on this by the way
so perfect, I hate it when knitwear finishes too short
I really like it to cover my wrists, I just feel like it looks far more
flattering that way, love the dropped shoulders as
well, it really gives that oversized vibe to it which is obviously right up
my street, yeah I really really love this I feel
like I'm going to be reaching for this a lot, it's also so
comfortable like because of the shape and fit of it
it's ridiculously comfortable to wear with sort of high-waisted
things, if I untuck the front just so you can see how long it is
I would never usually wear it like this but as you can see
I feel like it is designed really to be styled with more high-waisted
things like this so yeah this is a definite keep
for me. Next up from Mango, yes it is another
knitwear piece I am officially obsessed, I'm sorry I don't know what to say but
I think you'll see the kind of more spring elements
coming into play with these so light neutral
love the collar, love the buttons on it if I bring you in there
really great for layering, throwing on over a basic white top or t-shirt
or wearing on its own if you want to have the buttons undone that looks
really nice, I love the sleeves on this as well it's
kind of got a nice tighter fitting sleeve so I feel like
this is going to sit really nicely and again
the same with the waist, this will look really lovely with anything high-waisted
I've actually seen a couple of people have this on TikTok which kind of sold
it to me so yeah I stayed true to size and got
a size small so let's see what it looks like on
does anybody else have to go and grab a handbag when they're trying on clothes
because I just feel like I can't get a full
kind of proper look at what the outfit looks like unless I have
literally got a bag in my hand I don't know is that weird but
anyway this is the jumper on again really like the fit of this great
sleeve length I love that it's not like oversized here
around the waist I just like that these knitwear
pieces kind of hold their own shape and have some shape
I've got so many oversized jumpers that I just throw on with
leggings so it's really nice to have these kind
of alternative looking ones in the wardrobe
yeah I really like this I love the collar I just popped it on over a white
sort of fitted t-shirt but yeah I think this is
really really nice okay next up I really don't feel like it would be a haul for me
if it didn't include a knitted dress of some kind
I have really stepped into my comfort zone when it comes to wearing dresses
I know now what suits me and a knit dress
is honestly like a fail safe for me so I couldn't resist this one it's kind
of making me cringe the fact it's on a hanger
I would never ever usually store my knitwear on a hanger so
I want to get through this really quickly so I can get it off this hanger
because I really don't want it to stretch but this absolutely beautiful
cream um is it maxi almost maxi knit dress just thought this would be so
beautiful for the spring it's not particularly thick so I feel
like it's a great piece for going into spring for layering
underneath maybe a really nice long trench coat under a blazer under a smart
jacket you could add a really lovely tan belt
and add some nice tan accessories I just really loved it and again the fit
on the model on the website it just looked really really gorgeous so
I really hope it looks as nice on me I did stay true to size and got
a size small but I usually really like the sort of mango dresses so
yeah I'm hoping this one is going to be the same okay I'm really hoping I can
fit my whole body in here but this
on is so so lovely the material I'm not even joking I was
praying that this wasn't going to be itchy
this feels like a hug in a dress it's so so lovely I absolutely love the
length of this and the thing about this dress is
because it is so soft it's the kind of dress that I could
actually just pop on with a pair of slippers and be really comfortable to
work from home in again the sleeve length is lovely
I love the fit of it I usually don't like things that are
kind of like figure hugging but when it's a soft material
like this I don't know what it is but I really like it okay next up from Mango
don't worry not another knitwear piece but I did
get a pair of trousers now these are they look
almost black on the website however they are
navy not gonna lie I actually thought these were gonna be a little bit darker
and almost look black so they did take me by
surprise when they came and they were quite as you can see they are
very very navy but they are these gorgeous tailored trousers with a split
leg detail at the bottom again the fit on the website they look great
I thought these would just be a really great option to pair with my basic
tops going down to London going to meetings when I need smart trousers
I thought these would look really great casually with trainers as well as with
sort of like a little heel or a boot but as I said I was kind of hoping for
black so on the website they had actually
styled these trousers with the striped knit that I showed you at
the beginning and that's why I thought they were black
and they looked great together that's kind of what sold it to me so
this has thrown a little bit of a curveball in I'm not sure if I'm going
to reach for a pair of navy trousers all that much I mean I might
I'm not sure but let's see how these look on
okay I've popped the trousers on I actually really really love the fit
of these I popped along with some trainers
just to give them a more sort of casual vibe I feel like that's how
these kind of look best it's like smart casual
I'm sure you could also pair this with maybe like a matching blue blazer if you
like the kind of suit vibe but I actually really
love how this looks with trainers like this the split leg I
really like as well these will look lovely
with some cream ankle boots as well I'm still
even though I do actually really love the fit I've just popped it on by with
obviously a plain white top just so that you can really see the trousers
but even though I do really love the shape and style of them
I'm just not convinced that I'm going to reach for them a lot
and I don't know why I feel like if you're at the point of justifying
a purchase to yourself it's maybe not worth it
I also don't want to return them and then think
of like a million ways to style navy blue trousers and then really want to
keep them so I don't know I might need your guys's
help with this one what would you do would
you keep or return okay next up and the final thing that I
bought from Mango was this coat now usually going into
the spring I would not be buying kind of big
wall blend coats but I saw this as literally a capsule wardrobe piece
that's gonna be my wardrobe for years and years I just
couldn't help myself really gorgeous classic
camel coat however this one is a little bit different it does have
a tailored kind of cinched in waist and I just
love that detail I just feel like it elevates it slightly and
I do not have any kind of like long coats like that with that fit
and I just thought it really adds that little bit of something special
so I'm going to try this on and hopefully
it will look okay on me but yeah as I said usually wouldn't go for this at
this time of year but I could not resist I got this in a size
medium even though it is tailored I do still like
room with my coats and jackets for wearing over knitwear and things like
that I hate to feel restricted particularly around my shoulders and my
arms I like to have movement so yeah did pick this up in a size medium
but let's see how it looks okay this coat I love
I'm honestly obsessed with how the tailored
kind of cinched in waist looks I feel like it just gives it that extra
dimension I have actually styled it with the navy
trousers and I feel like I'm selling them to me I feel like styled
up in a full outfit I can kind of get more of a feel for how
I would wear them I love how it looks with the
coat but yeah this coat is a definite win for me the
sleeve length is great the shoulders are great
I am glad I sized up it is a fairly fitted coat so
I do think if I'd stayed true to size then it would have been
on the small side for me so yeah that would be my only advice if you are going
to go for this coat I would definitely just size up once but
this is just one of those classic classic coats that I know I'm going to
be getting wear out of for years and years and years so I'm
glad now I can go and cut off this annoying tag that they've popped right
by the buttons okay that's everything that I got from
so moving on to and other stories I was really enjoying their website
so let me show you what I got starting off with a really
just essential basic for the spring wardrobe
a really good basic striped I was going to say t-shirt then
long sleeved top really good for just adding a little bit of interest
to like a basic so I would just wear this as a base
layer for so many outfits anything that you can wear a plain white
top for you can replace with a striped top
and it will just give it that little bit of
something something so yeah I actually do not own a single
striped basic top I don't know why I don't know how
because I could have swore that I'd bought them maybe I don't know
maybe they've shrunk in the wash or I've had got stains on them
I don't know but I really like this kind of giving that a little bit of a
French kind of vibe as well so I stayed true to size and got a size
small I haven't got a striped top for styling up so
yeah I'm hoping to get a lot of wear out of this in the spring
check me out styling up these navy trousers now
this is what I do sometimes I feel like I just have to have a play around with
something if I'm not sure and then it turns out I really like them
but anyway this is not about the trousers this is
about the top I've just popped it on with an oversized sort of grey jacket
really love navy and grey together especially going into the spring
but yeah just to kind of show one one way that I'll style it but also I'm
really not buying this top as something to be worn sort of on its
own by itself it's definitely more of a base layer to
wear underneath jackets cardigans blazers
that sort of thing hence I wanted to try it on with an actual jacket
if I do take it off though just so you can see
it's okay it's just a fairly kind of loose-ish
fitting striped top sleeves are a bit short not
not sure if they're supposed to be like that but they're a bit shorter than I'd
like the neck is more of a boat neck so it
comes across like that which is quite nice but
yeah I'd say it's okay it was very kind of affordable it's one
of those just good basics to have in the wardrobe
I'm not mad on how it looks on its own but to be honest
I will rarely wear it on its own like this
anyway but yeah more of a kind of me kind of item to be honest but yeah let
me know what you think okay I mentioned earlier um I feel like
spring is the time for that elevated knitwear for when you
don't always need to take out a coat or a jacket
and I could not resist when I saw this on and other stories
I feel like even on the hanger you get a sense
for the fit of this also one of my favourite colours to wear
this gorgeous khaki green brown I don't know why I'm so obsessed with
wearing this colour but I am I feel like it kind of looks nice with
my hair colour so it is it's technically a cardigan but
you don't really wear it over the top of things open you'd wear it done up as
it's shown on here so it's kind of more of a top
than a cardigan buttons all the way up love
the sleeves love how they've got that slight balloon shape
at the top there and then they really come um come in there at the wrist
I really thought this is going to look really flattering on I hope it does
it looked really good on the model um I got my usual size anyway a size small
so yeah just thought this could be a really
good basic piece but just for you know jazzing up a normal pair of just jeans
trousers hopefully it looks nice on okay this is
what it looks like on I love this um I have to just say the
quality of this is so so nice it's a nice um it's not
not that it's an overly thick material you're not going to get too hot
but it's got some weight to it it's you can feel as you're putting it on
it's a really really lovely quality I love the shape of the arms
and kind of like the wrist area I just feel that's really flattering
it's a very simple basic kind of top but one that you can really elevate
and make look more expensive than it actually is
come in a little bit closer you can see it's got the button details down there
I've actually left this untucked into my cream
trousers because I feel like it's quite nice being able to see
the bottom of it I mean you could tuck it in as well but I quite like the way it
looks like this just very easy to wear either
casual or more formal um really good items having your wardrobe
for work and things like that if you don't
want to be too uncomfortable it's just yeah this is really
really great I really love this on I'm very pleased
with this one I told you I was obsessed with knit
dresses and yes I know you're going to look at me about Alex why have you got a
black knit dress going into spring where is the
colour guys I don't know okay I don't know
I got sucked in because I just loved this and because I have a black
knit dress from Zara that I have been wearing to death
so I feel like it's justified to treat myself to another one because I know I'm
going to wear it and I feel like it makes a really good
just base layer to outfits when I don't know what to wear a knit
dress and that will do it looks like I've tried
so I wore this I really have a vision of
wearing this I have some new burgundy coloured knee high boots and a
burgundy coloured bag that I think will add a really nice pop
of colour to this so this again from under the stories as you can see
it's got that almost nipped in waist seeing a lot
of the nipped in cinched in waist now so definitely a trend for the spring
summer the way this is different to my Zara
one though it's got the padded shoulders so a little bit more structure
and it's a roll neck whereas my one from Zara is round neck so
technically they are giving off a bit of a different vibe
does this have a slit down the leg yes it does
I think this will look really nice as well adding in your own belt
especially because it's already got that slight cinched in waist the belt
will sit really really nicely whereas with my other dress I don't
tend to wear belts with it they just don't sit right so
yeah hopefully this looks okay on I did stay true to size and got a size
small okay I just put the dress on I haven't
added a belt I just wanted to show it you how
exactly how it comes really and as you can see it's got that really lovely
again that bit of a cinched in waist it's got quite a high actually no not
too high to be honest split up the leg making it super
comfortable to walk in you're not going to be waddling around
in this which is lovely I love the length of this you can wear
this with a knee-high boot as I've done here and it looks lovely
again one of those dresses that you could dress down or dress up for the
roll neck as I mentioned let me quickly pop a
belt on to show you how that looks I'm just going to add this tan belt
just so that you can actually see it I think a black one might get a bit
lost on the camera there we go that's how it looks with the
belt I really like it with the belt actually I feel like this is how I would
usually style it really glad I got this now it's just I know it's really
kind of simple and basic but when you get really great basic
flattering well-fitted items in your wardrobe that you know you're going to
reach for I thought that's when you're on to a
winner this can be styled in so many ways I could put a blazer on with this I
could put my trench coat a nice big wool blend coat depending on the weather
really like this I thought this has been a really really good haul
okay this is kind of similar to the khaki
green top except it's obviously grey also less structured so this is the kind
of cardi that you could just wear on its own done up like this or wear it
open over a plain white top or maybe over the striped
top I'm really liking these kind of thinner
cardigans for layering I love how they look underneath blazers
jackets coats as well but for me personally I actually
really love how they look on their own I'm not really one for wearing
cardigans like this just as they should be worn
traditionally and I really like the kind of more modern way of wearing
them done up more as a statement more of
just a top in their own right so I love the light
grey colour although it is still a neutral I do still feel like light grey
coming to spring can be really nice lovely with denim as well going into
the spring so I stayed true to size in this and got
a size small it's alpaca wool doesn't feel like it has the potential
to be itchy but I'll let you know when I try it on
this is the grey cardigan on I've just popped it on over the top of a white
fitted tee unlike the khaki one I do feel like you would need that extra
layer it's not itchy I did think that on the
hanger it had the potential to be but it doesn't feel itchy to me it's
actually okay as I said I have got a top on
underneath as well I'm not sure how it would feel if I didn't but
to be honest it's honestly not that kind of cardigan where I feel personally you
could do that so yeah as you can see got the white
top on underneath I've just undone a couple of the
buttons to make it look a little bit less formal this is
really nice again a really great basic staple
for going into spring this would also look really lovely and layered
underneath a darker grey blazer or layering it up with navy as
well grey and navy together is just so nice
but I've just popped it on with some jeans and ankle boots
I also love the contrast between wearing like a cool tone grey and then gold
jewellery like I'm doing here just to kind of
warm it up I feel like it gives it that more spring
element if that makes sense this is also another keep okay
final piece I kind of couldn't resist this
I'm really enjoying the navy blue colour I just
I do sometimes struggle to wear it to be honest because
I sometimes do struggle to pair it with things however going into the spring
where I'll start wearing my things like my cream trousers
my denim I feel like it's really nice to have that blue
option I would still consider blue to be a fairly neutral
colour I also have some gorgeous dark blue jeans from Reese and honestly
I just had an outfit in mind when I bought this I thought pairing this
with the dark blue gorgeous flared denim jeans would just be an absolute moment
I really love sort of tonal outfits so yeah I felt like I was lacking with
the navy blue and now looking at this
this and the navy blue trousers could be
a moment I could have just made myself a whole new outfit
and convinced myself to keep the trousers so
who knows but anyway I got this in a size small looking at it this is
smaller than I would like however I feel that my brain is so used
to seeing oversized jumpers and me buying things in the bigger size
that when I get something in my usual size it looks small
so I'm hoping it will actually look okay on but
we'll see I love this navy jumper so much more
on than I thought I was going to when I saw it on the hanger
I popped it on with my dark blue denim jeans
kind of to make a little bit more of like almost like a two-piece kind of
vibe but not really two-piece and I absolutely
love it I just love tonal dressing I love wearing an outfit
that's in the same colour and then just thrown in a couple of accessories
I've just popped on my little um Fendi bag
with it but you could also add either a black or a tan belt
I personally love pairing navy and black
um together I think it's a colour combination that just looks
so chic and lovely so I would definitely add
a nice long black wool coat with this as well
for colder days obviously going into spring it would be nice to just wear it
as it is like now um but yeah I love this I really love the fit and the
shape of it as well again the sleeves that's just the biggest
thing for me when it comes to knitwear the sleeves and
these really do cover your wrists like this which just make it look super
flattering so yeah another absolute win for me and
that is it guys that is my first spring haul of
2024 I really hope you enjoyed that as always I will link
absolutely everything that is available to shop online
in the description box below but do give this video a thumbs up if you did enjoy
this and let me know what shops you are
loving at the minute for their spring collections

as always I will see you in the next one bye guys
