thank you Mr Speaker House Bill 657 just does one simple thing currently if somebody registers a plat and they have Planning and Zoning in their District they have to register that with the county clerk's office but if you do not have Planning and Zoning in your District or in your area you do not have to do that it's very important for us to have plats put to record so that everybody knows what they're buying and trading on and can locate that piece property me as a real estate appraiser I'm ask a number of times to go out and appraise a piece of property that they may want to be putting a house on and if I don't have a plat it makes it very difficult to go out and find that that area or that piece that lot so this just says that if you if you plat a piece of property and and do this in a subdivision you must put it to record and it is at the cost of the developer so if there's no questions I move passage of how Bill 657
