Freddie Freeman on opening day ceremony and victory Dodgers Postgame 2024

Freddie first happy opening day to get a win like this. Let's start with the ceremony, though. How spectacular was that today? Yeah, that was fun, especially when you run out. You see your family right out there. The flyover, Josh Groban. Everything was pretty, pretty spectacular today. Can you think about what the top of the order has looked like? It's been all eyes on you guys. But what is going through your head when you're at the plate and you see Freddie, excuse me, you see Mookie Betts as well as Shohei Ohtani on base? It's fun. One through nine, it's a pretty good lineup. So but yeah, there's a lot of guys on base when I came up today. So hopefully we can keep that rolling one through nine offensively. You all were impressive. What are your takeaways when you see a performance from this team? Yeah, I mean, just the U.S. start, it was really good today. Obviously, Tyler looked amazing. Ryan shutting it down. But getting Mookie getting to go in and show, you know, when you just get it rolling out early, it's easier to kind of settle down and get going. You're a Southern California guy. You had your opportunity to be here in Dodger Blue, having your debut at Dodger Stadium to see Tyler Glass now have that experience today. What is that moment like? Yeah, it's pretty amazing. It's like when you grow up in Southern California, you get 52,000 people. I'm sure you had a lot of family here, too. So I have to go out there and do what he did tonight or today. Pretty special. So I'm happy for Tyler and, you know, hopefully we can keep it going. All right, Freddie, congrats on this win today and happy opening day. Thank you, Kirsten.
