We actually made it to the Taj Mahal!! One of the 7 wonders of the world and we can definitely see why! Our first time driving on the road of India was terrifying!! We finally made it to Agra in our little rickshaw, even if our stay was a little itchy to say the least!
What is happening guys? Welcome back to Kinginit in India.
If you've just found this video, then let us explain to you what we're doing in this incredible country.
After spending nearly three dramatic weeks in New Delhi, witnessing a robbery.
Oh no! I can't believe that just happened. My heart is in my throat.
Mixing with the locals, accidentally ending up at a funeral, and trying to buy a rickshaw,
we finally got our hands on one and signed a deal with a chocolate pie.
Everybody, meet the newest member of Team Kinginit.
Chapati Bandita Mayonnaise.
Hopefully she's going to take us all the way from Delhi in the north to Kerala in the south.
So the mission for today is to drive Chapati all the way from Delhi to Agra to see the Taj Mahal.
Will we make it though? That is the question.
Just got to keep on guessing.
Kinginit. Rule your own world.
We're going India boys. Chapati.
It's rickshaw time.
Which road are we taking now?
I have no idea.
I don't know about you, I'm not even driving, but I am terrified.
But everyone's so friendly. It's just been such a great journey already with how many people were behind us to get this rickshaw.
There's so many people involved.
To Agra. To the Taj Mahal.
I'm so excited. I can't wait.

Oh my god, there's like pots at the end.
We're off baby.
Yay, day one.
Second gear.
Neutral. Second gear.
Okay, we're off.
Okay.
We are on the highway masala.
I love a bit of masala now.
This is great fun.
It is, but it's also terrifying.
There's no rules. People don't stick to their lanes.
So it's just a free-for-all. It's madness.
Some guy literally just put his brakes on in the middle of the motorway to just point at a building and show his mates.
It's crazy.
So this is our first ever petrol stop.
Selfies at the petrol station.
A bit of a crowd.
I will be famous.
We've upgraded our petrol tank.
So we've actually got a 30 litre petrol tank.
£20 for 28 litres.
Not too shabby.
You're a mess today.
Well that's what happens when you get put in a dorm with people that snow.
Just an FYI for anybody that snows.
Just get a private room.
Just pay a little bit extra and make your peers comfortable.
Okay?
Your peers.
Knackers, mate. Knackers.
Where are you going?
Our first drive went pretty smoothly despite the heavy traffic coming out of Delhi.
The highway was a bit of a challenge though with crazy drivers and no rules.
But the scenes we saw on the side of the road were brilliant.
There was kids playing cricket, loads of animals, farmers, small villages and a lot of friendly faces.
As we approached Agra, we got into the daunting, frantic craziness of the busy roads.
We've made it to Agra.
There's horses and cars and bulls and scooters.
And this is how many rules there are on the roads.
Keeps you on your toes driving in India, I tell you what.
Just get the cows out of traffic.
Standard India.
Oh my God.
I think you've just got to be a little bit of a nutter when you drive.
I've found a gap. I've found a gap.
Go, go, go, go.
Where's the map? There it is.
The Taj Mahal beneath.
It's huge, man.
Amazing. We're here in one piece.
And this is Hotel Safari.
Yay, we did it.
We didn't die, Craig.
Oh, mate, what a mission that was.
You are champion of the world.
The first half of that was so nice and calming.
We were just on the hard shoulder. I was like that the whole way.
And then as soon as I got in the city, I was just like...
Oh, it's a workout, that is.
This is our first stop, babe. We're in Agra.
I know, I'm excited.
I can't wait.
So this is Hotel Safari and it's £6 a night.
What a bargain.
Just hold on a minute.
Before we continue with the room tour,
we do not recommend that you stay at Hotel Safari in Agra.
There was a massive hole in the window and we heard every dog fight and conversation on the street.
We also had loads of mosquitoes coming in, attacking us in the night.
Because of this, we had about three hours sleep.
And to top it off, we woke up in the morning and realised that there was bedbugs.
So we left immediately.
After all the drama of the bedbugs and the mosquitoes,
we've actually found ourselves a perfect little guest house,
which is away from all the chaos.
Yeah, it's like off the main street, really down a long street in the back.
And it's so peaceful and quiet.
It doesn't feel like we're in India anymore.
What are we doing today then, fam?
Going to the Taj Mahal, Craig.
Taj Mahal.
I want to think that it's signposted.
That map's just too big.
Hang on, Craig.
Alright, we're here.
We've been told to park next to all the rest of the rickshaws here.
Very driver.
Very, very.
Oh, no, no, no.
Oh, this way.
I'm waiting, I'm waiting.
How much?
Twenty.
Twenty's alright.
You've got yourself a deal, lads.
This one?
Yes.
After dropping off our rickshaw,
we've already been approached twice for tours.
And the guy charged us a hundred rupees to bring us on the golf cart,
which we could have walked, for sure.
But I didn't want to walk anyway.
We've just got to look out for everything.
We just said to the guy in the golf cart,
listen, mate, we don't want a guide today.
And he really pushed it on us.
And how much was he charging?
Fifteen hundred rupees for a tour,
which you could probably get cheaper if you did want a tour at the Taj Mahal.
So, buy your time, guys.
We don't want a tour today.
We're different kind of travellers.
We just want to go, have a look,
hold each other's hands.
But before you come in, they thoroughly check your bags.
And you're not allowed tripods.
You're not allowed microphones.
That's why the sound isn't as good.
And obviously, you're not allowed drones.
Which is a shame.
So, there's lockers before you come in.
It's like twenty rupees to store your stuff.
I feel really underdressed.
Everyone is dressed to the nines.
It's a Monday today.
Just FYI, it's closed on a Friday.
Amy's come for a little art class on the lawn.
Where's your easel?
I mean, this is impressive enough.
But through these gates,
is the world famous Taj Mahal, baby.
You might be wondering why there's
lots of crowds and why we didn't get up at the crack of dawn.
We've seen pictures of the crack of dawn.
Because he's with Amy Bannister, that's why.
Yeah, one, it's because Amy's here.
And two, people just get up anyway.
So, we were just like, what's the point?
Just sleep in and enjoy it later on, innit?
Yeah.
I'm not looking yet.
I want to see it in its entirety.
Wow.
That is
something else.
That's mad, innit?
What a wonder people come here.
Look how glorious it is.
All the crowds are in such multi-colours.
Everyone looks so beautiful.
I might have to borrow
someone's dress.
And they say, Craig, that because it's made out of marble,
when the light changes,
it changes colour.
Mum, I'm at the Taj Mahal!
If you come to this spot, it's like a red fort
on the left-hand side of it.
There's a guy with a whistle.
He'll take your photo and blow the whistle and get everyone out of the way.
You can hear him now.
There's so many beautiful people here.
And the colours that everyone's wearing.
I feel like I should have dressed up a little bit.
But it is truly incredible.
Don't take what people say.
It doesn't just look like the photos.
It's amazing.
I'm just saying, how wicked would it be
if you could just get in a time machine
and go back to the opening day
of the Taj, when he's like,
right lads, I've finished.
House pie in my gaff.
Bring some red rope.
Bring your own beers.
To cut it.
I just wonder why people don't
make palaces now.
We've got dreams. We've got big dreams.
But is that too big to think?
That one day I could live in a palace.
Who do you think you are?
Not you, just me.
You've got your little shoe protectors on, have you kid?
Don't be wrecking the place.
You've probably still got dog ---- on them, haven't you?
I should have had these from the beginning.
So whilst Amy tried to help, she dropped someone's scooter
on the floor and then stepped in to find the ----.
Cheers, Captain B.
Ah, wet wipes later.
You can't get in here with those shoes on.
No, no, wet wipes.
I don't know why I thought white shoes
in India would be a good thing, Craig.
No, I'm the same.
We're going in.
We're not allowed to film in here, guys, so we can't take you in.
Sorry.
So the Taj Mahal, if you don't know, because I didn't know,
is actually built by an emperor.
It was built to house the tomb of his wife
who died a childbirth.
Oh, that's a bit sad, isn't it?
Yeah, and he's buried in there also.
So when you go inside, it's actually really small.
There's just one room and there's two tombs.
So I'm guessing they're both in there.
So rest in peace, guys.
I hope you're having a lovely sleep.
Alright, so we were starving, so we found this spot
which is on a rooftop.
There's no one else on here.
A little view of Taj.
Ah, mate, Taj.
What are you saying, fam?
These kids are right off today.
I'm basically on my own.
We had breakfast at like ten.
It's now quarter past three. I'm done, mate.
We came down to a spot
where you can actually get a boat
and see the Taj Mahal from the river.
Taj Mahal.
But it turns out that the man who runs the boats
is not quite legal.
So we turned up, we're like,
Hanoi! And we're shouting for him.
And he's like, no, no, no, not today, not today.
We're like, why, bro?
You know, you've got your boat there.
Just take us out, mate.
He's like looking this way and winking
and looking at the tourist police.
So basically, you can do them in the mornings
because the police aren't here, but in the evenings
you can't take the boat out for some reason.
So this is the boat you can go out on.
It's literally one.
So if you want to come for sunrise,
then do that.
So it may seem very peaceful, calm and tranquil
right by the river,
but it bloody ain't, OK?
When you come down here, you have to walk
along one of the sides of the Taj Mahal to get down here.
And I had a bottle of coke in my hand
and these monkeys came.
Craig just sort of politely steps out the way
and he comes for me!
And he's halfway up my leg and I'm screaming!
I didn't realise he wanted the coke
until luckily there's an Indian guy
behind me with a stick
who like beat him off.
Petrifying. I swear my heart came out
of my chest.
So be very careful when you come.
Put everything in your bag.
The monkeys won't get you.
Next time on Kingin' It.
Total confusion.
