LECCE-ATALANTA 0-2 | HIGHLIGHTS | Scamacca and De Ketelaere seal La Dea win | Serie A 2023/24

Scamaca, dangerous this for Lecce, Toure, El Bilal, Toure, and this is Pasalic, Falcone, what a save it was. Atalanta playing some swashbuckling stuff early doors here at the Villa del Mare. Antonino Gallo strides forward, searching ball, great ball, taken first time there by Piccoli. Piccoli has a second chance in a matter of minutes, no respite for either defence at the moment. Miranchuk, space to turn, Miranchuk, now Scamaca, Scamaca goes with the right, stopped by Falcone, was dropped into a dangerous area. Scamaca has come, that's a lovely crossfield ball with his weaker side. Zappacosta taking on Venuti, Zappacosta, great block, Zappacosta might get another go. It was a great block initially, but he got another bite of the cherry here, Davide Zappacosta, and he fizzes his effort off the outside of the woodwork. Piccoli, footrace between himself and Bonfanti, and then put over by Krstovic, decent service on the right-hand side from Piccoli. Venuti into the box, well defended there by Scalvini, good thinking there from Scamaca, releasing Teketelare, Teketelare, instant impact from the Belgian, immediately after coming on, gives Atalanta the lead, double figures for Charles Teketelare this season, what a season he is having, but it's all thanks to the quick thinking of Gianluca Scamaca to carve open this Lecce defence. The in-swinger, Falcone comes, he doesn't gather, and Atalanta have a second, but a real clanger for Vladimiro Falcone, in the Lecce goal, Scamaca leads the celebrations, it looked to be his touch, getting to it before the Lecce stopper, and Atalanta have come out with a point to prove in this second half. Once again another corner, this time it's deeper towards Hien, he rose high, the Swede, here goes Piccoli, keeps it low, and he strikes the post from the man on loan from Atalanta, against his parent club, Atalanta shake off their copper Italia blues with a win over Lecce, UEFA Champions League football now confirmed for Gasparini's men for next season. I'll leave you with the final score here where it's finished, Lecce nil, Atalanta two.
