So the two sets of players make their way out onto the field. It is a terrific spectacle of red and blue. It is for the second year in a row that Wembley Way has become the Mancunian Way. 12 months ago, in the first ever Manchester Derby Cup final, the Blues captured the trophy on the way to a magnificent treble. This time around, they're a win away from becoming the first side in English football to win back-to-back doubles of League title and FA Cup. Now, the Blues took all of 12 seconds to get the game up and running last season. I wonder how devastatingly quick they will start today. Again, they've gone long looking towards Harland, who wins the header and United win it back. And there'll be no goal inside the opening 12 seconds, but there might be for United. Rashford all the way through. Fortunately, Kyle Walker is quicker than Rashford. Otherwise, that could have been interesting, Michael. Well, it didn't look like he was going to get there, did he? But what he's got as well, not just the pace. He knows when just to nudge and to use his arm, because it looked like Rashford was getting away. Big test early. Now Cargill on the halfway finds De Bruyne, a lovely ball inside to Foden, Foden's onside, he's looking for a target. The concentration remains the same, and the City will find it difficult to break them down. It is a very deep block United are deploying. It's just a little bit frustrating now, lack of effort on goal. Dalot hits a long ball looking for Garnaccio, over the top, Garnaccio's on the chase, and Guardiola's headed it past the goal, and Garnaccio scores! Well, an absolute calamity. A backward header over the top of Ortega, and Garnaccio couldn't miss! And all of a sudden, out of absolutely nothing, City are trailing in the FA Cup final. City haven't yet had an attempt on target or off target. Bernardo has the first attempt on target from City, and Onardo gathers it very, very simply. Yeah, good shot, I don't mind that, let's get it going, get some momentum, try and put some pressure on the goalkeeper. Another ball over the top, Garnaccio's onside, City are backpedalling here, Garnaccio plays it across, Rashford taps it in, the offside flag is raised. It might be a tight one, it might be a tight one. No, it's been cleared, so it is still 1-0, offside against Garnaccio. But it was a tight one, make no mistake about it, it was a tight one. The reality is that City are struggling at the moment to open up Manchester United, seven minutes to half-time. And can you believe what you're witnessing? City 0-2 United, six and a bit minutes to half-time. Rodri outside to Doku, Doku up against Wan-Bissaka, across comes Wan-Bissaka to stop him, Doku comes inside, back as it goes to Foden, Foden tries to slip it through, it's stopped by Amrabat, picked up by Guardiola, Guardiola now to Doku, Doku now into the penalty area, into Foden, mishits it, and Onana gathers it easily, puts his hands on his facefield, Foden, that was a chance but he couldn't take it in his stride. You've got it now with Doku, Doku attacking Wan-Bissaka, Doku into the penalty area, back towards Foden, Haaland offends the crossbar, Haaland's first chance of the game, and he thumps it against the bar. Well, it's happening, you can just see it, as well as having possession, City are starting to find gaps, if City can make it 2-1, well, anything could happen here. The ball is with Rodri, they're attacking the end where the City fans are gonna do what they can, you can probably hear them now, the ball is now in City possession with Alvarez who's just come on. Alvarez plays it to Rodri, Rodri out wide to Doku, Doku up against Wan-Bissaka on the left-hand side, Doku looks to his right, comes inside, still with Doku, taps it into Guardiola, Guardiola helps it across to Walker, Walker thinks about shooting and does! Brilliant save by Onana, wonderful hit by Kyle Walker, terrific reactions from Onana. Oh, what an effort, known for strikes is he, Kyle Walker pushes out of his feet, going right in that top right-hand corner, goalkeeper gets across quickly, good save. Stokes, pitches forward, back to Rodri, Rodri through to Foden, Foden into the gap, good ball, Alvarez misses! Another golden chance, Alvarez misses, it was beautifully worked, and he passed it out of the reach of Onana, but beyond the post. It's a great forward pass, the run was perfect, but his first touch for me was just not out of his feet, and then he couldn't wrap his left foot because the ball's inside him to go across the goalkeeper. And now Fernandes and now Garnaccio, and City are stretched at the back here, Garnaccio into the penalty area, hits it straight at Ortega and it goes out for a corner. Well, they've still got that threat United, and Ortega's made an important save. Now Doku into the penalty area, Doku now in that penalty area, goes for the shot, right across the face of the goal and it goes out for a corner. City corner on the near side. Foden clips it in, headed away, should be another City corner on the far it is. So another City corner on the wide right-hand side. Ball into the area, and Haaland was wrestled to the floor, and Andy Madley says there's nothing wrong with it, and the City players are saying that has to be a foul. It's interesting when he touches his ear, isn't it? He touches his ear straight away, so he makes the decision, and why is he putting his hand on his ear as if to say, talk to me, talk to me? Have some confidence if you're going to make the decision.
