Got RUMBLED Buying Fish & Chips!

how are we all doing out there I hope you're all spot on and thanks for watching the video now today is Friday and I fancy some fishing chips so we're going to take a drive we going to we're going to go around somewhere it's it's going to be a completely different video to normal although fish and chips will be involved we're going to take a drive down the CR road to Connie head PR now it's a lovely old building well over 200 years old and it used to be a retreat for X miners back in the early 1900s it's free to have a walk around there's a lovely coffee shop there and you can get a cup of tea and a coffee and a slice of cake slice of cake Sally and when me Mom and Dad come through and me brother we all we all go down there and it's right near the beach there's a lovely little walk through the woods to the beach so we're going to go there have a little look around around it's not for everyone you know if you want to skip forward to the fishing chips they'll be coming after it you can go and do that but it's it's a nice building it's a nice place and a lovely architecture anyway let's go scales well David comes to mind there with that one o for sale it's a lovely little place this scales nice little village so we're heading off to the the course Road and um we'll go towards ulon that's where the fish and ship shop is but before we do we'll we'll go and visit Connie said PRI I've not been this way for a while but you can't half tell sumers sumers up on us because these Ed RS are half grown out they really have there in the distance you can see the sea I'm only about a 6 7 minute drive from the beach where I live so very lucky um and this is the Cross Road we're just about to get onto it and we're heading towards aliston so if this um if you like this kind building look I was going to walk around and show you it have a walk around the CAF at the back and there's a little walk to the beach I'm very sorry about that right let's go and get some fishing chips there look tells you about it there it's a lovely if you're in the South South Lakes area have a little um little drive down it's beautiful it's a lovely building used to be a retreat for X miners when they retire 1853 on the wall there it's a mediation center now so this is prior Road and there's a chippy down here I've had a few recommendations go and try it it's um called priv Place namely at and um I've never been to it before it was open a few years ago and then it closed and then it's new owners have have taken over it two brothers and um I've heard good things so obviously I it's it's lunchtime and I want some fish and chip so we will try it for [Music] ourselves so the chip is up here on the right hand side I'm going to park up outside and I'll show you so that's it there prior place so I'm going in so I hope you can see me okay I've took a little drive down the beach and is this is what I got there they are he's see them in there I got had and chips oh I got a slice of um slice of lemon as well look at that that's the first time that's ever happened so I'm going to I'm going to put that on so little story behind that I put them chips in there so that's what you get and I got some mushy peas as well and I got kind of kind of pop so the price let me tell you now I've got me receipt here so I got one hadock was £7 regular chips £320 peas were1 60 small peas and a Diet cork cuz I'm on a diet1 40 so 13 and 20 P so for fish and chips it was 7102 for fish and chips if you just buy the fish and chips so I went in I was there was no one else in there I got in before the rush luckily and um I sort of shot myself in the foot by accident really and I said she said would you like a receipt and I said yeah please I said I have it I have it for my business um thinking nothing of it and she said so what do you do for a business so comes in a nice bag as well got a can of kind of Pop says what do you do for a business so obviously I told her I was um a review food I'm a YouTuber or a content creator or whatever we were called and she said I had a funny feeling you know because I had it is red do it is freshly cooked as well it's just come out of the of it's all freshly cooked so that's good isn't it um so I'm just letting it cool down so this is why I'm telling the story and I said I had a funny feeling you were a something like that because I had some YouTubers coming last week and I think they were the chippy to they were called anyway she got her phone out and she had a look and she she Lo looked at my channel and she subscribed so thanks for the subscription subscribe and um she said oh she said oh have a look and um just told her what I was doing so I was it was there's the the peas she give me a fork as well and what have I done Fork got a fork so what a lovely lovely um they're not a couple the guy there's there's two brothers who own the chippy and um they live in morham I think they've got four four chippies four chip shops the fish looks lovely it really does the B looks lovely and crisp so nice nice to meet you Chloe and um Cory it was a pleasure it was pleasure I was as as I was tuck by surprise to be honest it's never happened to me before so I'm going to get into it I'm going to get into that fish going to snap that tail off that fish let's have a look oh it looks looks lovely look at that oh that is lovely oh that really is that really is tasty now she did say be honest and I am honest I said as long as the food's cooked I said I'm happy I said as long as it's cooked and it's tasty and that is cooked beautifully that white look at that lovely fish HCK [Music] let's get into the [Music] chips soft and fluffy inside lovely I'm going to get into that fish I'm going to get into more of that fish as well look at that look at that fish that batter is lovely on it as well nice and crisp and [Music] tasty good fish Cy very nice Cy sorry let's try these peas good me they were hot they were hot quite tasty as well well seasoned a little bit sweet they're lovely they are they're lovely so I'm going to get in with that with a obviously a chip chips are all lovely as well there's no like bad bits in there look like they've just been freshly cooked [Music] there's no skin on the fish and that's a nice touch as well that's the first time I've ever had a slice of lemon served up so it's a lovely it's got a five star um hygiene rating as well it's lovely and new looks like it's been sort of redone within a year the chippy itself it's on I will put in the description of the video I'll put in the link I will put the address of the chippy and um any information as I can think of I'll put it all in there in the description of the video so if you are in the area olist you do decide to visit the Lake District and you want a chippy then you want to get out the Lakes I don't know why you would but olon is quite close you can always nip in and have a look and um give him a bit of [Music] love should have brought some salt and vinegar I could do with some more some more vinegar on these you sort of segregated it chips on one side fish on the other that door very nice very tasty like to take you in the building and take you around the grounds but used to be a retreat for the X miners years ago now it's like a mediation Center did think about going there once myself before when I got out the Army in the late '90s not a lot of people know this um but I did nearly I did drive down there and I did nearly Park up and go in my head needed a bit of RNR at the time it was it
