Cashew, you ready to go camping?
You ready to go camping?
Hello, welcome back to another video.
We are literally walking out the door right now.
I'm just doing my final check of the house before we leave,
making sure everything is shut down, good to go,
cleaned up, packed up, camper is loaded.
Today was the kids' last day of school
and we did a half day, so I picked them up around noon.
It is 3.30 right now, Donnie got off work early,
came home, we packed everything up.
We started working on packing things up last night.
But if you guys have a camper and if you go camping,
you know how much work it is to prep
and get everything ready.
You guys are probably wondering, whose camper is that?
Where did you get, did you get a new camper?
So, as you guys know, we had our Keystone Cougar
that we traveled in full time in 2019.
My father-in-law was living in that for a few years
and we bought a toy hauler and we actually bought,
we actually bought a 1995 Aljo and fully renovated it,
used that for a while, then we sold it
and we bought our toy hauler because we got dirt bikes
and the Samurai and all that stuff.
When we were gonna travel full time again,
this past summer, 2023, my father-in-law said,
why don't I live in your toy hauler
and you guys take the Cougar
because it's more like livable full time.
So we did that, we swapped.
Then we decided to stop traveling in August
and we moved here to Idaho
and so he's still in our toy hauler.
That is going to change,
it's just taking a little bit of time.
So we're not exactly sure
when we're getting our toy hauler back, we are,
we just don't know the exact timeline of it.
So for this weekend, we did not wanna miss out
on our annual camping trip that we always go on,
so we were gonna rent a trailer.
And so I was talking to my friend,
she's like, what are you guys doing for Memorial?
I'm like, oh, we're going camping.
And I'm like, oh yeah, we're just gonna rent one.
And she's like, absolutely not, no you're not,
you're gonna take ours
because we're gonna be out of town for the weekend.
And I'm like, no, we are not taking your trailer.
And Donnie's like, absolutely not, we're not doing that.
And they pretty much wouldn't let us say no,
they were like, you're taking it.
So that's whose trailer is in front of our house,
that's whose trailer we're taking camping.
So some awesome friends that are very generous
and so kind and would not let us say no.
So they are in Hawaii this weekend
for her birthday actually, so.
Wow, one dirty dish in the sink.
Did you just start the dishwasher?
Yeah, no, well, like probably 20 minutes ago.
So anyways, we're headed out, it was six hour drive
if we don't stop at all.
So we'll see how long it actually takes us,
it's 326 right now.
So by the time we pull out, it's gonna be 330.
I'll let you guys know when we get to camp.
But here we go again
with our Memorial Weekend camping vlog.
We've done quite a few of them over the years,
so let's hit the road.
