FOUL! New Fray Bentos Vs Aldi Chicken Soup Review

I got a lovely recommendation by UK man he says uh get yourself to B&M and go and check out the new fre bentos chicken soup so I did and I thought oh I'll do a comparison I went to Aldi I got there cream of chicken soup now I have reviewed the Aldi one in the past I'll talk to you a little bit about that in a second so let's have a look what we've got and here they are new fre bentos soup creamy chicken bramwell's classic cream of chicken soup so 380 G and what's the bramwell's 400 G so we're getting 20 G less straight away so cheers UK man for that um keep the recommendations coming in the prices very different the frey bentos was 89 89 P the Aldi was 62 P so is that 27p difference it's a lot that is it it's a lot I reviewed the bramwell's chicken soup in TW December 2022 and it was 54 so it's gone up 8 since December 22 so let's H take a closer look at the tins so they've both got ring pools which is good that's 20 G less than that we got some nutrition on the side that is for half a can so let's have a look at the nutrition on here for half a can now it's got per 100 so we'll tell you what we'll go with the the per 100 and we'll have a look if we can get them side by side you want to have a look at that in more detail you can pause it and um and have a look but we'll just have a look at the um the salt at the bottom is um .6 in the Aldi versus .55 so less salt in the fre bentos protein 1.7 versus 1 1.5 in the Aldi so we getting more protein um let's have a look at the Satur the fat at the top 3.3 versus 3 grams so less less fat in the Aldi one and the um the the carbohydrate sugars 3.7 .7 you've got 4.7 and 1 G all right so let's look at the ingredients there's the ingredients there the allergen in the fre bentos is milk wheat and the one in the Aldi is milk and wheat so we've got water Chicken in them both so we've got 2.5% chicken in the F bentos and in the Aldi we're getting 3% so we're getting more chicken so you'd think the protein would be higher with this one wouldn't you when you're getting more you're getting more but I suppose it's 400 gr isn't it that's 380 my mind that's 380 and the protein is 1.7 for 100 gram and the protein here is 1.5 so it says chicken you don't know what part of the chicken it's from do you that's the only thing seems like this could be chicken breast however it doesn't say chicken breast but you're getting more protein per 100 ah yeah so let's um I'm going to warm them both up on the hob we've got a GB sticker on there do them on the hob you can microwave them it's up to you creamy chicken soup this soup gets the job done no thrills and no Force it's creamy comforting and downright delicious fre bentos I've reviewed the pies I've done all the pies yeah that's another story so so I think we've covered everything if I do miss anything out I will put um a link in the description for anything and I've also got a comparison playlist which I'll put in the description if you want to have a look through the comparisons I've done loads right let's get them open and uh see what we have got so which one do you prefer H well if you're going on price obviously branwell's is the winner isn't it it really is so let's get them open and have a look wow at that in there and if you're going off the pictures well that's just where's the chicken where's it at is it all been liquidized I mean that does look better on there doesn't it I know it's just a serving suggestion but that does at least you can see the chicken all right very very sort of very watery and quite down as well let's have a look at this one so says are both creamy that's creamy that's that's a lot better it's a lot higher you go we got a bit of chicken there we don't want to waste it and it's at the top as well and it's bit more gloopy looks a bit more creamy so we'll get them in I have shook them up I've both shook them up beforehand and I'm going to get them into tin into um some sorts um I'll show you in a minute pans was the word I was looking for so we'll get The Fray bentos in yeah there are there are chunks of chicken in there get it all in don't want to waste any like that and then we'll get the brm wells in this one yeah it's a lot thicker than Bram Wells a lot thicker so the frey bentos yeah less less chicken what a surprise the pies is hardly anything in them the meat wise I do take these off as well and I do wash them out and I do recycle them so in case you're worry I know people out there do so I can't get these mixed up can I this is in the smaller one that's in the bigger so I'm going to get them on the OB now just gently warming them up here on the OB right let's get the fre bentos in just warmed it gently that's all very very runny this one very runny yeah quite watery now let's have a look at the Ali one get in the shot as they say that's thicker isn't it that thicker bit lighter in color as well make sure I get it all out all the chicken you need every little bit you can with 3% 3% versus what was it 2 point what was it on this one 2.5 I don't know why they bother so there's the differences this one seems more sort of yellow doesn't it sort of than this one it's bit of a lighter color The Fray bentos there's a bit bits of chicken in there and this is your your ally one there's your bits of chicken there so we're going to we're going to try them now I have got a drink of water I'll have a slurp of water in between I'm going to try the the Fred bentos one first see what that's like so where's that chicken G so I like I like to dip load of bread in these throw it in throw the old bread in right we got that drip any more drips no let's go for it Goodness Me that's not very good I'll be honest doesn't smell too great neither it definitely doesn't smell great Co no that's not good it's like oily it's like an oil oily sort of a flavor can't taste any chicken that's not nice at all so going going in for the for the Aldi so straight away it's a lot thicker 27 p cheaper as well so I'll get into that now like you're on a roller coaster going all over the shop so yeah it's it's a lot more thick actually smells like chicken soup as well Goodness Me Co that's a clear winner that fre bentos is rancid absolutely horrid goodness me I was going to say stick to making pies but you can't even fill them can you I love the crust on the frey bentos I love the pastry even that sort of very claggy bit underneath oh I love it I love it I love the crisp top and the claggy underneath but you don't get any meat in them do you you don't get hardly out in them the eldi one is definitely the winner definitely the winner and some but there's not the ingredients in that one aren't great are they they're not they're not great at all to be honest but it's in taste it's definitely the clear winner in price it's definitely the clear winner avoid that fre bentos that is wrong it's just wrong not right at all orid rancid all eating that for bentos that'll be going um I won't be eating it I'll be getting into that cream Al bramwell's now I'll be sticking some bread in it please that's just my opinion it's just my opinion thank you all very much for your comments and
