I get a little bit breathless
My thoughts are too big
Can I get some comfort, please?
I guess I should have been honest
A break to my heart
It's raining down, baby
I'm like a river that's overflowed
The sooner you know it, the less do we hurt
Let me speak the truth
Wanna face it
You think it's too late
But I can see past the rain
Won't you lay it on me?
Turn the page and burn it
Let's make up a big bonfire
On the beach with the stars as our lighters
And throw our problems in the flames
Throw our problems in the flames
So it's been pretty cool today
Not cold, but actually pretty nice
But it's been cloudy and overcast
And so just, yeah, felt a little cool
So I built this little fire on the beach
And I'm sitting here watching the waves
Some kind of sea creatures just passed by
There's one right there
I don't know if it's a whale tail or what
That's what I think it is
I haven't seen a lot of spouts
But occasionally I see something big
Just pop out of the water
I'm kind of assuming it's a whale
But it might be a huge porpoise or something
I don't know
A little seagull strolling by
There's rocks in the back to play on
And of course I'm picking up sticks
For my little fire
Turn the page and burn it
Let's make up a big bonfire
On the beach with the stars as our lighters
And throw our problems in the flames
Throw our problems in the flames
And throw our problems in the flames
Throw our problems in the flames
Another beautiful sunset in Cabo
Well, Baja
Every change has a reason
Baby, let it come to you
Every storm, every season
Lives outside of status quo
If we stop believing we're meant to be
Expanding our abilities
If the passion's gone, we are doing it wrong
Baby, you and I
Baby, you and I should start living now
With the whole world
There is nothing we should start living for
Baby, we should
Can you feel it?
Something is behind the clouds
We just have to believe it
That we can make the sun come out
Let us lose ourselves in a fairy tale
Who can say what's wrong or right?
We're the only ones who can decide
Baby, you and I
Baby, you and I should start living now
With the whole world
And between our time
So baby, we should start living now
The notion that I could be brave
Is there anything good on the race to be?
Before anyone heard
I'm feeling brave
Running to celebrate
My fortune's here to stay
A one-way ticket to a better day
A rocking chair and a glass of wine
In the shade of a tree and I'm feeling fine
There's not a lot to ask
When life is going by so fast
Alright guys, we just had to abort this road
We tried it and it just wasn't going to work
Right Kurt?
Van's too long, air conditioner just barely touched down
It was closed but we're not going to mess with it
Nope, it's not worth our air conditioner
So we're going to go around
And try to come in from the north side
See how that works
So there's our two kitties, chilling on the couch
Waiting to get to the next destination
They're not crazy about the washboard roads
But they do okay, especially if Kurt goes slow
Right now, they seem perfectly happy
Yeah, so what we've learned guys
Is Google Maps is behind down here
And Mexico moves their roads a lot
So we found another road
A nice lady stopped us on the road
And told us we could get there by coming here
And so far, looks like a pretty good road
What you up to Kurt?
Watching the whales, eating sushi
Drinking a couple of beers?
Yep
Thank you very much
What is your name?
Daniela, nice to meet you
Where are you from?
Acapulco, how long have you been here?
La Fortuna, do you like it?
I love it
I started working here after New Years
Oh, fun, nice
La Fortuna, right?
Nice, thank you very much
You're welcome
Brand new Pacifico for snow
Right now, I'm on a little sunset walk
Heading down the beach
In La Fortuna
Earlier today, we just had some
Amazing sushi
And a couple of beers
Up at that restaurant
Up the way, very nice
And then all of a sudden
The sun just started getting all crazy
And the sky started turning different colors
And so
I couldn't resist a little walk
Guys
Everything's about to come my way
Nothing can ruin my day
No matter what anyone does or say
I smile at the news
No, I don't care
Cause I am on my way
Up, and I won't stop
I won't slow down
Standing on my feet
I'm gonna rise
Up, no, I won't stop
It is my time
Cause I know what it's like to be broke
What it's like when nothing goes your way
So I'm gonna let myself enjoy
The fruit from this lucky day
Yeah, I am on my way
Up
I won't slow down
Yeah, I am on my way
Up
So guys, this is day two
Of just chilling on the beach
What do you call it, Kurt?
Beach hopping in Baja
Just kinda skirting along the coast
Beach to beach to beach
We haven't named this beach yet
But we'll come up with a name
Kurt, what are you doing in there?
Making a little carne
A little carne
I think we're having tacos
On the beach
Just sitting here watching more whales jump, guys
It's pretty darn cool
Alright guys
Kurt is going in for a snorkel
Let's hope he finds some good stuff to get on the video
He's got the GoPro and he's ready
There he goes
Yeah, I am on my way
Up
What it's like to be broken
And I know what it's like when nothing goes your way
So I'm just gonna let myself enjoy
I won't slow down
Cause I am on my way
Up
I won't slow down
Yeah, I am on my way
Up
I won't slow down
I am on my way
Up
I won't slow down
So we got to this beach pretty early this morning
Kurt went snorkeling
And we had another couple show up in their van
And they went out snorkeling for a long time
And left their cute little dogs
But their cute little dogs like to hang out under our van and bark
They were some barking dogs
Barking dogs
So we have named this Barking Dog Beach
But we don't have any cell service
And we haven't had any cell service in a couple of days
So we are moving on
But we got here super early
We were set up by like 8.15 this morning
So we spent the whole day here
At Dog Barking Beach
Dog Bark Beach
So we're headed north
Let's see what we can find
Yeah, don't mind that washout in the middle of the road
And I just want to remind everybody guys
This is a main road
In Mexico, in Baja
So we're on a main road
And we're very happy that it's not the rainy season
I mean if you pull this up on Google Maps guys
It's there
And it looks like a main road
Because it is
It's steep and bumpy
But
And then
There was asphalt
Woohoo
What do you think about this Kurt?
Smooth roads
Nana was just coming up here
Wanting us to slow down
And now we're on the smooth roads
Question is
How long will it last?
Okay guys
We were headed north on this road along the coast
But
Looks like it's another road
We can't get through
We're just a little too long
We would drag pretty bad in the back
If we tried to go through that
So we gotta regroup
Looks like
If we go the way I'm thinking we should go
We're going to turn around and backtrack
So let's see what happens
