Ep 14 - VanLife Travelers - Swimming With Whale Sharks & Sea Lions

You getting in the water, Cheryl? It's gonna be a game time decision. I'm gonna have to do a vlog. You guys, cheer Snow on. She's terrified of sharks. She's afraid to get in the water. Cheer her on. We need her in the water. This is as good a time as any to explain to y'all. I have an extremely irrational fear of sharks. I know it's silly, but it's something I've literally dealt with my whole life since like first, second grade, as long as I can remember. And every time I get up the nerve to get in the water, we seem to see a shark. Nothing crazy, but we seem to see them and it just reinforces my silly fear. But Kurt's gonna get in and swim with whale sharks and seals slash sea lions. And you guys know I like sea lions, seals. I'm gonna try. I'm gonna try really hard. And I know it's silly before y'all start commenting. I know how crazy it is for me to have this fear, but it's real. I get physical reactions. I get nervous. I get sick to my stomach. I get weak. So it's, it's a thing. So Kurt's right. Cheer me on. Wish me luck. And let's see if I can figure out how to get up the nerve to get in the water tomorrow with these whale sharks. But at least I know no matter what, Kurt is going to have an awesome time. And I'll have fun even just watching him. But it's an experience I want to have a part of too. So we'll see what happens. The tour is paid for and booked. We will be back here at eight o'clock in the morning. And right now the wind forecast is muy bueno. So let's see how this turns out tomorrow guys. Ah good morning guys. I gotta tell you today I am super excited. I am pumped because right out there in a little bit we are going to get in the water with the whale sharks. So this is going to be super cool. These things are huge creatures. They're beautiful and I can't wait. Well what have you to say? I'm meditating. Meditating? So everybody gets in the boats. We come over to this dock and it sounds like there's a checkpoint because they control how many people get to go out and see the whale sharks each day. Which is pretty cool don't you think Kurt? Yeah the only problem is we got over here a little bit Good to go out. If they get over the maximum you have to wait for the next cycle. Yeah Let's see.
