As we all know, fitness and health over an entire life is very important, it's one of
the most essential things a young man or woman can do to live a long and joyful life.
In this video, I'm going to cover the number one thing that teens can do to help prepare
them and get them the best chance to stay fit and healthy for their entire lives.
Make sure to leave a like if you enjoy the video and let's jump right into it.
I want to start this off by saying that when you're young, it's a lot easier to stay in
shape and stay healthy than when you're older.
Now that's all great, but it does cause an issue for many kids and youth.
So let's say you eat whatever you want, which most kids do, right?
You don't really go to the gym to exercise or actually do home workouts or anything like
that. You sort of just play sports, you know, you have classes in school that require
activity, but you don't really place fitness as a spot in your life.
It's sort of just something that happens because of your current lifestyle.
And on top of that, again, you eat whatever you want, you eat all kinds of junk food, it
doesn't really matter. You know, you're going through puberty, you're growing, you're
developing muscles, you're all fine in terms of health, even if you aren't really
exercising or working out.
Then as you start to grow older, those habits stick with you.
You're still sort of eating whatever you want.
You don't really go to the gym much.
You sort of just stick with whatever your lifestyle is and hope that works for you.
Now, the reason this is such a trap is because habit sticks with people.
When you're young and you don't really care what you eat, right, and you don't exercise
much and that carries on through life, it becomes harder and harder to change your
habits, to start working out, to start eating healthy, all that kind of stuff.
And that has become evident through the rising obesity rates, the rising heart disease,
all kinds of diseases that are a result of an unhealthy lifestyle.
However, that power can be reversed.
And this is the method I recommend for all teenagers so they can stay fit for life.
So instead of reinforcing negative habits, when you're young, you need to reinforce
positive habits.
So how do you reinforce positive habits in terms of fitness and health in your daily
life as a young man or woman?
The most important thing to do is establish a consistent routine that you follow no matter
the day, the weather, the location, wherever you are.
You do it because things like that will carry on, really carry on through life.
Whether or not you are in your gym, can afford a membership, anything like that, you don't
actually have to go to a gym.
Of course, a gym is very helpful because you can establish a routine.
You know, I go every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and then you just go every day.
And if you're used to going to the gym at a young age, that really carries on.
If that's not you, though, and you can't afford a gym, it's no worries.
Just establish a routine for working out at home and then follow that routine as often
as possible.
If you establish these routines and these habits at a young age and stay consistent
in them throughout years of school, college, job, whatever, wherever in life you may be,
it is super beneficial and that'll continue throughout your entire life.
And overall, it'll lead you to a healthier and more fit, able life.
So of course, it's a lot harder said than done.
