2024 Nissan Rogue SV AWD Is this package worth the price?

welcome everybody today I am here with the 2024 Rogue SV this one has a Canadian MSRP of 4,285 and for all my American friends out there it's about 32 365 so we're here to determine if this Nissan Rogue is the one that has the most value let's jump into it so if you're shopping around for a Nissan Rogue you're going to find out it comes in a few different trim levels the base model is the S the SV there also is a premium package that you can purchase with this SV then there's an SL and a platinum so this one is right in the middle and there is a ton of value here for 2024 so it does come with the Nissan intelligent key fob here you have remote starter lock unlock power lift gate so there is some Easy features to start your car up in the winter time you know you can get the Heat Going the defrost going or a day like today get the air conditioning going cuz it's hot out here in Niagara Ontario so now that we've remote started it we can jump in here and I just still need to push the start button to start it up and now everything's functioning here now I sit in this eight-way power adjustable driver's seat it does have the Nissan zero gravity seat and you have this kind of two appointed cloth seats so there's a two-tone with the gray and the black on the outside and the white stitching it does give it a little high-end look and they are pretty easy to keep clean so the advantage of this SV you get the power seat and you have the nice interior now in 2024 we saw a full facelift on the front end where they changed up the front grill here and they kind of went with this kind of slatted out v motion Grill with the Chrome throughout and we do have our Nissan Emblem now they moved our sensor here this is our sensor for using things like the Ford emergency braking the intelligent cruise control and I'll get to that once we get this puppy on the road I got to talk about the drive of this thing everybody does comment on how comfortable the seats are like the seats are extremely comfortable and it drives and handles beautifully now being a turbo it does have a little bit of a Gran to it um I'm just going to punch it here and you can kind of hear that groan but it does take off very well like it certainly doesn't sound like a traditional engine or transmission but it does drive and take off it's a really smooth drive as you accelerate with that CVT transmission you don't feel a lot of gear shifts and then it's going to come with a ton of safety features I've mentioned that in my channel before we do have our blind spot monitor on the outside of the mirror there and it does have the lane departure warning so the wheel will vibrate on me as I deviate from the lane kind of like a heptic feedback almost like your Xbox controller there it will vibrate and tell you hey you've deviated from outside the lane so for 2024 they didn't change too much in regards to the steering wheel and this driver's system here but you do have the nice leather wrapped d-shaped wheel which really helps you have a bit more knee room it is a telescopic wheel and it is a heated steering wheel we have our paddle shifters on the back radio mounting controls and our cruise control controls right on the wheel here we have this kind of Stack style headlights where we have full LED headlights and then you have the LED daytime running lights automatic onof headlights and you have Auto highbeam assist check it out the side profile the benefit of going up to this SV from the S is you get a few extra colors this one is the deep ocean blue color and that comes when you move up to the SV now my favorite feature is going to be this Center stack so you have this kind of electronic Square shifter a little intimidating when you first get in the car but once you start using it it's so easy and handy you can just flick it into drive or push it up for reverse push the P to park a little more smoother than having a full-on shifter and the advantage is it makes up so much space here or it allows for so much space here you can see I can fit all my hands in the storage system here there's a spot for my phone up top and there's a ton of storage in the center console so this is really where Nissan kind of sets it itself I love this center console all your heating controls above automatic temperature control heated seats heated steering wheel behind the wheel is this Nissan Drive Assist display Advanced Drive Assist display it's going to show things like your digital speedometer you got your tire pressure monitor radio sensors there's all different things you can change in here and really customize it to what you want to display so let's talk about the infotainment this one comes with a 7in sort of like a tablet like screen that's coming out of the dash and I do like how this is set up you have a little leather dashboard here and then you have the green coming out this one comes with things like Apple carplay Android auto you do have serious satellite radio Bluetooth for your phone and Bluetooth audio streaming so turn that up there for a stock system the speakers do sound okay and let's check out the backup camera so that's going to come on automatically in Reverse here you have the guidance lines that will help you as you're backing up into the space Bas and then you do have those rear sensors as well that are going to beep at you when you get close to an object you also get the roof rails when you go up to the SV and you can see the rear windows are going to come tinted just going to help with the UV raise and what I really like is it does kind of have a sportier rim it's an 18in aluminum alloy Rim they're sitting on all season tires and you're going to have your front and your rear disc brakes my favorite feature mentioned this a million times on this channel that's going to be the Nissan Pro pilot assist and that's why I feel this car has the most value because I don't like driving the s's especially on long drives the pro pilot assist I would pay extra for just to get this one feature basically it's going to keep you centered in the lane while you're on the highway and it's going to keep you a safe distance from the car in front of you using the intelligent cruise control you can set the car lengths again we have a full demo of this on the channel we will link it in the description below if you want to learn how to use that or find out a little bit more what that's about now when you go up to this SV this is why you might pay a little extra to go up to this model from the S package cuz it has this massive panoramic moon roof which goes all the way to the back it opens up with the touch of a button here and just lets more light in the car gets the hair flowing the back here you do have this kind of Stadium style seat I've mentioned that if you watch my other Rogue videos that didn't really change but what's changed is now you have two USBC charging ports so you can charge your phones back here the kids can watch their devices and then you have a little map storage and there's also two cup holders and there is a cup holder in each door now in 2024 they did kind of give this bumper a little Bolder approach roach to it it's a little wider bumper than the previous model we have our Rogue stamping and our SV all-wheel drive stamping as well backup camera is right above the license plate there is a spot to open the lift gate there and we have our rear parking sensors which we'll show you when we turn the camera on so this one has the rear emergency brake with the backup sensors you can see as I'm backing up to this vehicle the sensors are going off and as I get get really close there you can hear that car shut off and it doesn't allow me to back up any further now this one being the SV One of the features you get is the power lift gate so it's going to open up just with the touch of a button here and then if you jump inside you do have quite a bit of space your spare tire is right underneath there it doesn't come with a dut or anything full size spare no run Flats you have 36 cubic feet of cargo capacity this is your privacy cover or your tunnel cover which you can remove pretty easily and then the seats fold down as a 60/40 split this one is going to come with 21 horsepower so more horsepower and better fuel economy 7.6 L combined for fuel economy for all my American friends that's about 30 mpg torque you're looking at 200 25 lb feet of torque so overall on paper with this turbo it does give you better specs better fuel economy and more horsepower and it also allows for more Towing now you can tow 1,500 lb it is attached to the Nissan CVT transmission so that is a wrap on the 2024 Rog gasv guys you let us know
