I wanted to share some of the 2019 motorcycle rallies that I've found while researching trips ideas for this year.
There are some great locations to consider for these rallies this year.
I concentrate mostly on East Coast motorcycle rallies for 2019, but there is a Central location that I mention as well.
I wish I had the time to go to them all!
Book that hotel and then...

THANKS FOR WATCHING!
Hey fellow riders. Today I wanted to talk about motorcycle trips and rallies coming up in 2019.
Starting right now on Motor Travel USA. I'm riding here in downtown Orlando today
and I wanted to just talk about motorcycle vacations and some 2019 rallies that I know of
coming up. I don't know about the rest of you but this is the time of year that I start dreaming of
motorcycle trips. You know what I'm talking about? Just that desire to go out and find
something new and exciting. Explore something different than the day in and day out. Well
anyway as always I have a million ideas right now of where I want to go and obviously you can only
pick one or two. Just have to whittle them down. I mean one thought is I do want to do an iron
butt sometime and is this the year I do that. Maybe take go a thousand miles somewhere and
take my time going back but that's not what I'm here to talk about today. What I did want to talk
about because usually when I start thinking of trips what I'll do is I'll go out on the internet
and look at what kind of motorcycle rallies, more specifically for sport touring, what rallies are
going on out there and as I was writing those down I thought why don't I go for a ride and share
those with viewers so they know of these rallies too because there are some really cool ones out
there this year and definitely if you know of others that I'm not even mentioning because I'm
only going to mention a handful here please do in the comments or email me. I'd be glad to share
that with other viewers and would love to hear about other events going on around the country
and that's the other thing too. Most of these are east coast. There's one central United States
just because that's where I am living in Florida. I'm willing to go up and down the east coast
and possibly do this central one I found but west coast would definitely be harder
and would take a lot more time to plan. So of course in March is one of the bigger ones,
Daytona Bike Week. Obviously this is dominated by Harleys but every type of bike is represented
there. It's typically warmer than most of the U.S. and there's tons of things going on from
cabbage wrestling to test rides. It's definitely an interesting time for sure. Now on to the more
sport touring oriented rallies and the ones I'm going to mention are like FJR groups and
concourse groups and just because they're that specific motorcycle group the rallies typically
welcome anyone. You can show up to a Connie group with an FJR or vice versa typically.
Definitely check the information on their websites and just to make sure but I've never heard of
anybody having a bad experience just because they rode their concourse to a FJR group. You might get
your balls busted a little bit but beyond that you'll have a great time and it's typically the
same minded people at these rallies. So I saw that the central FJR owners group is having a rally in
June in Iowa. I believe the Buick Iowa. I'll put the information on the screen in case that's
incorrect but I believe that is. It sounds cool. I would love to go there. I saw that the Field of
Dreams filming site is only a few hours away and there's a couple other great rides and routes and
destinations up in that area. In July I noticed the concourse owner group is having their national
rally in central Pennsylvania. Now if you've never ridden in central Pennsylvania it's awesome. It's
a great place to ride. There's so many great routes, so many great destinations and the the routes can
be so varied from mountainous to curvy to farmland. I highly recommend it if you can go to this.
Then in September the eastern FJR group they're meeting in Maggie Valley this year. I got a little
taste of Maggie Valley during my last trip along the Blue Ridge and it's as fun as everybody has
told me it is. I most certainly will be back. I don't know if I'll be able to make this particular one
and then the other one that I found was again the concourse owners group. They're having their
northeast fall rally in the Thousand Lakes area of New York. That's kind of northern
northwestern New York on the border with Canada and I visited there and that's also awesome.
You can go to Canada, you can explore New York. It's just a really nice area. There's nature and
castles, great places to eat and the hotel they're staying at that's where I stayed too and
that hotel was really great. I could totally see a rally taking place there. Easy to walk to
restaurants so you can have a couple beers and not worry about riding back to the hotel.
So if you can get up to that one definitely go. So those are the ones that I personally found.
Definitely if you know of any please put them in the comments or email them to me. I'll definitely
share them with other viewers and other people just to get an idea of what is out there. I'd
love to hear what type of motorcycle trips you're planning or dreaming of this year
and definitely if you know of any rallies that I didn't mention or didn't find please put them in
the comments or email me. I'll be glad to share them with everybody. Well as always I really
appreciate everybody watching. If you like this video and it helped you and you're thinking of
going to some of these rallies now please give the video a thumbs up and also subscribe to the
channel. Motor Travel USA is all about touring, sport touring, and finding new and interesting
places to go and explore. So definitely subscribe to the channel if you are also interested in that.
It means a lot and helps build this channel. I'm going to keep riding for a little bit.
Definitely check out those rallies I mentioned and let's go explore!
