Hey tea lovers, welcome back to another Tea of the Week. This week we're looking at one of our
herbal blends that helps to reduce migraines before they happen. This blend was specifically
created for one of our co-workers who gets migraines often and wanted some tea as a
natural remedy. This tea has been widely well reviewed by our customers and we hope you enjoy
learning about it today. We decided not to include a recipe in this week's Tea of the Week
because most of the time if someone is suffering from a migraine, a recipe isn't going to be
something that they'd like to make. The best way to consume this tea would be plain hot or iced,
but you can always add milk, honey, lemon, or any other flavors that you'd like if you'd like to
enhance it a bit. Let's talk about the ingredients that go into this blend. Organic ginger root is a
known remedy for nausea and many people can relate it to drinking ginger ale when they're sick.
Along with its anti-nausea properties, ginger is great for helping with pain related to migraines.
Ginger increases serotonin levels which can help relieve blood vessel restriction, a prevalent
cause of painful migraines. Next up is organic catnip. That's right, the kind that cats like.
Catnip is a great ingredient for relaxation as it acts as a very mild sedative and has a calming
effect on the body. This can help when a migraine is already present to assist in relaxation.
Organic cinnamon is a great and tasty home remedy for migraines. Consuming cinnamon helps to reduce
the severity, frequency, and duration of migraines. Additionally, cinnamon is a great
anti-inflammatory and can provide relief from inflammatory pain. Organic feverfew is a powerful
ingredient in migraine prevention and relief. Feverfew's latin name comes from the words
fever reducer and this flower has even been called the medieval aspirin. Feverfew helps
to produce serotonin which relaxes blood vessels and relieves painful inflammation. Organic ginkgo
is especially useful in treating and preventing migraines caused by excessive stress.
Ginkgo helps to relax blood vessels, relieve stress in the body,
boost antioxidants, and provide anti-inflammatory effects. Organic peppermint oil is commonly used
for migraines but drinking tea with organic peppermint is a great way to help relax the
body and provide a soothing aroma. Consuming peppermint helps to relieve muscle tension
and can alleviate a migraine while it's happening. The last ingredient is organic lavender.
Lavender is known for its soothing aroma and calming effects. Additionally, lavender is shown
to provide significant pain relief from migraines and inflammation. Instead of including a recipe
this week, we wanted to share a few of the amazing reviews that we've gotten on this tea.
One customer shared, this tea has been a godsend. I suffer from horrible migraines and was on day
three in the hospital when my best friend sent me this. Hands down, it has been the best natural
remedy I have found. In addition to relieving my migraine, the tea has the most lovely flavor
and actually reduced the nausea associated with migraines. I would highly recommend trying this.
Another customer wrote, I get migraines often brought on by various food intolerances. I bought
a sample of this one to see if it helped. It absolutely knocked it out right away. I was
pleasantly pleased and will be for sure ordering a big bag of this. Also, it's got an amazing flavor
combo. Finally, this customer shared, I get chronic migraines so a friend recommended this tea and I'm
so glad I tried it. It takes the edge off my migraines and headaches and is actually very
tasty. I was so pleased with it that I gifted a bag to my sister who also suffers from migraines.
Thank you so much for learning about organic migraine relief with us today. I hope that you're
not one who suffers from migraines, but if you are, I hope you give this a try or suggest it
to someone who it might help. Have a great rest of your week and find all the links in the description below. Bye!
