Hey tea lovers! Welcome back to Tea of the Week, our weekly series where we walk you through
everything about a selected tea. This week in our Southern Oregon office it is very smoky outside
and we've all been taking advantage of drinking organic lung health tea to help our lungs which
is why we wanted to highlight it for our selected tea this week. Let's talk about the seven
ingredients that go into this blend. The first ingredient in organic lung health is organic
Ginger root helps relieve congestion and improve circulation in your body which also relieves
inflammation. Ginger root has been studied to show effective improvement in lung damage and
lung protection. Organic licorice root is known to have both antimicrobial and antibacterial effects
on the body which helps to relieve upper respiratory ailments. Additionally licorice
root can help to expel mucus and relieve irritation in the lungs. Ginkgo biloba is next. Ginkgo biloba
is another anti-inflammatory ingredient which can also help to increase lung capacity. Ginkgo can
also help treat lung ailments such as COPD and asthma. Next up is organic lemongrass. Lemongrass
is full of nutrients including iron, calcium, and vitamin c. Iron is an essential ingredient to aid
in the transfer of oxygen from your lungs to your blood. In addition lemongrass is a calming herb
and can help to relieve stress. Organic sage comes next. Sage is an expectorant which helps
to expel mucus. Additionally sage is full of antioxidants that help the body heal faster
and help to prevent colds and flus. Our sixth ingredient is organic oregano. Oregano is a great
ingredient for providing relief from allergies and cleansing the lungs. Additionally oregano
helps improve airflow and is a natural immune system booster. Our seventh and final ingredient
is organic slippery elm. This soothing ingredient coats the throat, stomach, and mouth to provide a
soothing effect and relieve dryness. Slippery elm provides pain and inflammation relief to the
respiratory system and lungs. Next up let's make a soothing drink to help with lung health. One of
the fun things that I get to do at my job is I get to test new products that we might sell.
This little tea steeper is something that I'm testing this week to make sure it holds up well
but basically all you do is put the tea leaves in the bottom and add your hot water over the top.
I'm using two teaspoons of organic lung health and about six ounces of hot water.
Next I'm adding some honey and a little bit of powdered ginger to some hot oat milk which I'm
going to froth and then add on top of my lung health tea to give it a little extra sweetness
and creaminess. And here's the magic of that cool little tea steeper. You just set it on top
of your teacup and the tea pours out the bottom all filtered and ready to go. Let me know in the
comments below if you guys would be interested in this product and I'm going to finish testing
it at the end of this week. I'm adding my oat milk on top of my steep lung health and that's
really all there is to this latte. It's extremely soothing, warm, and comforting.
And that's all I've got for you this week. If you're somewhere where that smoky or the
air quality isn't the best, consider giving organic lung health a try.
You really will feel the difference in your breathing and the way that your body feels.
I hope you enjoyed Tea of the Week. If you love these videos,
