What's something people don't know about homemade granola? Today we're making a delicious homemade
granola that's crunchy, perfectly sweetened, and loaded with all your favorite nuts and seeds.
Whether you're looking for a healthy breakfast, a quick snack, or the perfect topping for your
yogurt, this granola recipe is going to be your new go-to. Let's dive right in. Here's what you'll
need. Three cups rolled oats, one cup nuts and seeds, half a cup shredded coconut, one-third
cup maple syrup or honey, one-quarter cup coconut oil, one teaspoon vanilla extract,
half a teaspoon cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. First, let's mix all our dry ingredients together.
Add the oats, nuts, seeds, coconut, cinnamon, and salt into a large bowl and give it a good stir.
Now, in a smaller bowl, combine the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
Pour this mixture over your dry ingredients and mix until everything is evenly coated.
Once everything is well combined, spread the mixture evenly on a lined baking sheet.
Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure
even toasting. The granola should turn a nice golden brown and smell amazing. Once it's out
of the oven, let it cool completely before adding any extras like dried fruits or chocolate chips.
Store your granola in an airtight container at room temperature. It'll stay fresh for about two
weeks if it lasts that long. Serve it over yogurt with some milk or just grab a handful for a quick
snack. And there you have it, homemade granola that's way better than anything store-bought.
