Mai, you're on YouTube now. What do you want to do for a job after the
university? What would you like to do? Hey guys, welcome back to another video.
I appreciate you stopping by today. I was really amazed how many people clicked on
the last video of the airport greeting with Yen and I. It was really amazing. If
you haven't watched that, you can check that out. But it's been a great first
week here in Saigon. In this video, I'll show a few clips in and around Ho Chi Minh
City and some of our activities. So yeah, I appreciate you being here.
Having a delicious bowl of Bun Bo Hue. Bun Bo Hue. How do you say?
Bun Bo Hue. Nice beef. And I like the sprouts.
So we're trying out a new coffee shop this morning. I've ordered a Cafe Sua.
And what are you getting? Oh, watermelon juice. Okay, that sounds great.
Looking forward to getting some good coffee this morning. And then we're
going to go to the cell phone store because my other phone is not working
real well. And so Yen and I are going to go to the cell phone store. We're going to
try to buy a used iPhone. Maybe two or three years old. So it's not that
expensive. So I can put in my Vietnamese SIM card into the iPhone. Yeah, that'll
be good. Looks good. So we're here at the cell phone store and we're getting a new
well-used iPhone so I can use my Vietnamese SIM card.
Your hair looks so pretty. He just subscribed. He subscribed to the channel.
The phone is charging now. And then you have, okay, we have the SIM in this one.
This is an old Samsung I bought a couple years ago and it's just not not working
very well. Just a little project this morning. I've got this cell phone mount
we bought at the cell phone store yesterday but I don't have a wrench. I
think I saw a mechanic shop down the street so I'm gonna ride down the road
here real quick see if they can grab a wrench and mount this for me so I can
use my Google Map when I'm out traveling around. Okay, let's let's run down the
street. I think it was right up here. Pretty close. Let's see if we can find it.
Yeah, here we go. And hopefully he won't mind me having the camera on. Hello. How
are you? He said he can he can mount this on here. It's got a nice shop. You find
just motorbike shops all over the place. It's it's very very convenient, you know,
so if there's any maintenance issues. I think there's about 100 million people
in Vietnam and probably 80 million motorbikes. So yeah, these guys said that
he can he can put this thing on no problem. If you need a tire repair or just
anything. Yeah, these these are really simple to put on but I just did not, I
just didn't have a wrench. Yeah, this works pretty good. Got a good mount there.
Okay, all right, good. He's got my mount set up. He's a good guy. Thank you.
All right, we've got mission accomplished. Got the cell phone mount on the motorbike
handlebars. So now I can navigate around without without riding one-handed. So
that's good. Let's take a quick ride here and see what we've got. Yeah, this is a
in an area of District 7. Yen and I are gonna head out, get something to eat
pretty soon, get some coffee, and then tonight get a nice nice meal out on the
town somewhere. Here at the Kum Tom restaurant, Hue Hue, and these guys
are super nice. Yeah. Are you are you students now? Yes, I am a student. I'm
currently studying at Tong Kok Tang. You know Tong Kok Tang University? Yes, I know.
Yeah. Okay, good. So what what do you want to do for a job after the university? What
would you like to, what would you like to do? I want to be a network engineer. Oh, network
engineer. Yeah. Okay, so you're smart with the computers. Yeah. Yeah. And how about
you? Hi everyone. My name is Dat and you can call me Will. Will. Yeah. So I'm
studying currently. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. I'm studying game coding. Okay. Yeah.
Coding. So, so both of you guys are really smart with the computers. Yeah, we
are both in information, information technology field, so yeah. Hey, that's
cool. That's cool. This is quite a place of Ho Chi Minh here. Is it always very busy
at this, at this restaurant? Yeah. Yeah.
It's a diner. Oh, okay. More like a diner. Okay. Yeah, that's, that's really nice.
Let me get, see these motorbikes coming here. Yeah, I really, I really enjoy
Vietnam. It's just such a great place. Yeah. Yeah. Now, were you both, were you both
born here? Were you, were you living in, were you growing up here or did you move
here from another place? I moved here. I moved here. I was born in Dong Nai. Dong Nai.
Okay. Okay. Yeah, that's where Yen is from. My friend Yen, that's where she's from.
It's located in North, yeah, Northern Vietnam. Northern, okay. And how about you, Will?
Were you, were you growing up here? Yeah, I grew up here. Okay, you grew up here all your life.
Yeah, Ho Chi Minh City. So you know Ho Chi Minh. Okay. Yeah, self-sacrifice.
Alright, guys. Alright, well, thank you very much and I'll put this up on the YouTube
channel for you to watch. Alright. Alright, yeah. Thanks, guys.
We're listening to Christmas music tonight and it's September 14th, so we're
in the beefsteak restaurant and... Do you like the Christmas music, Yen?
And a partridge in a pear tree. Yeah, it's a wonderful meal we're having.
Steak and fries and a little Pepsi and salad with beautiful Christmas music.
