Xo, Christy, Zeek & Levi MY TRAVEL PRODUCTS SHOWN OR MENTIONED:
Hey guys, good morning. It is a travel day today.
We are going to go to Osaka from Tokyo.
Come along with us on our journey.
Look! Hi!
He's such a silly.
Bye bye Tokyo.
Can you say bye bye Tokyo?
Bye bye Tokyo and people.
And say we're going to Osaka.
Osaka.
Made it to the Tokyo station.
Just bought our tickets to Kyoto.
We'll be riding a bullet train.
And for both of us, it was $190.
And Levi would have to pay.
Which probably is a good call.
Because he's probably going to be out of the whole time anyways.
Yeah.
And he fell asleep in the car ride.
So he's sleeping still.
We have to carry our luggages around.
Luckily we only have two large luggages.
But we wanted to do the service where they can drop off your bag.
Or pick up your bag and transfer it over to Kyoto.
But we didn't know that you need to do that a day earlier.
So we missed out on that.
So now we're stuck lugging all these luggages around a busy train station.
And not to mention Japan is very very terrible with the elevator.
Our train is departing at 11 o'clock.
We had to wait two more times because there was no luggage space in the other trains.
So we had to wait a little bit longer so that our luggage could fit and can travel with us.
We finally made it to our hotel in Kyoto.
After lots and lots of steps today.
And walking around navigating the subway with our luggages.
I got bombed.
You got bombed?
Are you happy?
No.
No?
I'm sad.
Why are you sad?
Are you happy?
So here is a quick hotel room tour.
It's kind of cute actually.
There's a working station here.
A couch.
We're just getting ourselves situated.
So we got the two superior twin beds.
Which is nice because Levi normally sleeps by himself anyways.
A good amount of space here.
A mirror.
And this is like the coat area.
Coat area.
And the bathroom.
Let me take this out so you can see.
Okay.
And here is the...
Eww.
Eww. Daddy sucks.
And here is the bathroom.
It has a shower and a bathtub for Levi.
Which is so important.
The other hotel did not have that.
So I'm happy for Levi that he gets his bathtub.
But yeah.
Here is our home for the next five nights.
Yay!
Yay! Woohoo!
And we also just ordered some food.
Because we are starving.
And it should be arriving here shortly.
The hotels here are so accommodating for kids.
They gave Levi a kid's pack.
That includes like a body,
shower scrub,
a toothbrush with toothpaste.
And Levi, look what you got.
And some kid's slippers.
How cute!
Should we give this away to somebody?
No.
For Levi.
That's for Levi?
Open. Open.
Open what?
Open.
Open that one.
Can you say it nicely?
Open pa.
What's the magic word?
Open pa.
What's the magic word?
Please and thank you.
Try it out.
Aww.
You got it, bubba?
Help me.
Okay, let's see.
I like it.
Do you like it?
I do. I love it.
Levi, do you like it?
Yeah.
Awesome.
I'm teapot.
You're carrying a teapot?
Our food just came.
We just got some udon noodles with some beef.
Dada got the same thing,
but with an egg
and some tempura.
Tempura.
Alright, we made it
to the shrine.
Mom, look at me.
Come on, let's go.
Go ahead.
I love you, mommy.
I love you, too.
Give me a hand. High five.
Yeah, how's it look?
Now it's getting busy.
Is it very good?
Dada, let me see what we got.
What did we get?
Ooh.
Yeah, it was like a fried shrimp something.
It looked very good.
So, and it smelled very good, too.
Levi seems to like it.
Alright, honey?
Yeah.
We are walking in the Gion neighborhood district.
Not sure what to expect from here,
but heard a lot of good things about it.
Levi is still fast asleep.
I think this place is known for
the restaurant and shops.
So, we'll show you around.
There's no beef here.
Are you sure?
We are at an udon restaurant.
It's called Marukame.
We've been to Marukame before
out in Hawaii.
And it was so good.
So, we had to have it again
since it is here in Kyoto.
We don't know if it's the same link, though.
I think it is.
You got your udon first,
your noodles,
and then you can pick out
your tempuras.
And I got a shrimp and two chicken tenders
for Levi.
What did you get?
Same thing.
I got a squid,
and I also got a shrimp tempura.
Yeah.
Alright.
Let's go.
Let's go eat.
Levi just woke up
and he is hungry.
Hungry, hungry.
What are you doing?
Are you sitting down?
Hi.
I'm eating.
Arigato.
