Love and Enjoy this RV/Camper van. We added few upgrades and made our LTV feels like home while we travel on the road.
Welcome to our channel. I'm Joy. I'm Ron. And we are the Skooled Crafts. And this is our new
leisure travel van. We ordered this at Van City Las Vegas last year in January
then picked it up at Van City St. Louis because it's closer to our home. It
usually takes two to three years to get a brand new leisure travel van but we're
glad we only had to wait a year. Before this we had a Class A motorhome for 13
years and we traveled all over the U.S. with my family. 11 of us, my parents, my
siblings and the kids. We really loved and enjoyed it. We made lots of memories.
So we decided to downsize because we are empty nesters now. It's just too big of a
rig for both of us. Also I want to be able to drive it comfortably and I just
love the thought of the ease of maneuvering it everywhere. So for two
years we researched all kinds of smaller RVs and travel vans and this the
LTV caught our eyes. We're just so impressed with its outdoor and indoor
features and also its build quality. It just checks all of our boxes with
activities we're doing now and with our future travel plans. So let's go inside.
We are excited to show you the inside of our new LTV. Welcome to our home away
from home. Let's start in the cab area. So this
Unity models are built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 cutaway chassis
with twin-turbo four-cylinder diesel engine and with nine speed automatic
transmissions. I really like this big touchscreen multimedia panel with
CarPlay capability. We use Spotify to listen to our music or podcast or to our
audiobooks. We really enjoy this. So this unit has a lot of safety features and
great comfort features. Okay so some of the safety features that 2024 Unity has
is it's got the adaptive cruise control which is nice and effective. It can either
be set relatively close, medium or far away depending on your comfort zone and
it matches speeds with the vehicles around you. It also has lane assist. So it
has two different lanes assist. The first is a slight vibration in the steering
wheel and it pulls you back to the center. If you cross the lane quite a bit
then it actually shows the whole display shows a vehicle in the wrong lane and
wants to ease you back into your lane. It also has crosswind assist new this year
and that is really nice if you get a large gust of a crosswind hits you it
actually applies to brakes and eases you back towards the middle of your lane
automatically. It also has this front end collision alert where it will actually
apply the brakes and stop you before you can hit something. One of the safety
features that surprised me was I was driving about two and a half hours or so
and suddenly the dash lights up with a steaming cup of coffee picture to let me
know that hey maybe you want to take a break since you've been driving for so
long. It also has a couple of rear view cameras now. As you can see here is
showing us the rear view that is on all the time within the rear view mirror. So
it's got a camera up high on the LTV that points down lets you see what's
going on behind you and then of course it has this backup camera and lets you
see what's behind you as you're backing up. A couple of the upgrades that we
added was I put TPMS on the tires so I could track that and we did the
timbering suspension upgrade which was really great and stopping a lot of the
sway that you got not only from crosswinds but also going into and out
of uneven parking lots. And then the last upgrade feature that we've added is we
put in a dash cam just to be a little safer on the road so if something
happens we have recordings of it. We also have lots of charging ports up front in
the cab area. Charging pad here and a 12-volt plug down here. We also have
powered heated seats on both the front seats here and also the side view mirrors.
So guess what one of my favorite things in this cab area this coach does not
only have one or two cupholders but look at this 10 cupholders holy cow. This unit
comes with a privacy screen on all cab windows for nighttime or daytime use if
you wanted more privacy. So these two cupping chairs can be swiveled around to
be part of the motorhome and you can extend the seats here for those tall or
long-legged people. So let's move in in the living area. Here's a lagoon table
that can be swiveled around for easy in and out. You can also move it on the back
as work table if you want to sit on the bed. Two seats here has its own
individual seat belts. Also it can be converted into a twin bed. We got this
optional air mattress that we can convert into a double bed if we need
extra room for our family or friends if they want to tag along and sleep in our
LTV. I love this ottoman that I got from Marshalls that we use for extra seating
footstool and shoe storage. Here is the main multiplex panel. It controls the AC
heat lights turn on generator also to monitor fresh gray black and for
painting. There's several secondary control panels throughout the coach and
also you can upload the app into your smartphone so you can control everything
through your smartphone if you want to. The master light panel part of it so you
can have all the lights on or all the lights off. Here's where you can see your
generator and when you want to run for the auto start. Here's your furnace and
air conditioning setup for where you want to set the temperatures and of
course then you have your settings if you need to go in and do anything with
your settings. So we have lots of overhead storage here. They're all curved
doors soft touch. I love this. Here is the entertainment center where you can
connect the TV and the satellite system. A couple of cubbies here up front. Big
storage here where we store our privacy screen for our cab windows and in here
where our control panel for our solar system. Here's the indoor service center
that you can control your four-point leveler hot water and the inverter.
Moving into our kitchen area we have a two burner stove with built-in splash
guard. This you can flip up if you want an extra room when prepping your meals.
We have a built-in trash can over there and a nice big stainless sink here. We
really appreciate that they already put this paper towel holder and also for the
dish soap and I added lotion and hand sanitizer next to it. And up there is our
ventilation fan. Also you can put spices there or whatever you want. Nice big
awning picture window here that you can open if you want to get a fresh air. Also
it has a daytime shade and a nighttime privacy shade and it has these two clips
on both sides to keep it from flopping back and forth. Here's one of the smart
TVs here inside the LTV. We have another one in the bedroom. This you can connect
by a Bluetooth on your phone so you can watch your Netflix, Apple TV or Amazon
Prime videos and movies. Then a soundbar up on top of it. So down here more
storage. Also curved doors. That's where we place our pots and pans. Other side
here and also right here I put a plastic bag grocery holder. Here are the drawers
for the utensils and other kitchen stuffs. All soft close. So cool. So here's
another one of the secondary control panels that you can also control your
lights inside. Then we have our nice lighting pull-out pantry here for our
snacks. Also soft close and it's nice that you can lock it to keep it from
sliding out when the LTV is moving. Here's our fridge. This is a brand new
model for all the 2024 Leisure Travel Vans. It's more efficient. That's the main
fridge there and down the bottom we have a sliding out freezer. And up here we
have a microwave convection oven. And another storage up there too. Small one.
Another one of the secondary panel here that you can turn on and off your lights
when you enter or leave the coach. One of the things I like is that big skylight
up there that you can open if you want a fresh air. It has a sunshade and a bug
screen and you can open it half and half if you want. There you go. I like that.
Very nice. There's also a privacy screen for nighttime on the front door. And
moving into our bedroom we have a twin bed that you can convert into a king bed
if you want to. To convert to king bed just flip this down then place the two
cushions provided on top. There's enough room here even for four people. Well for
us big enough for two of us with our three dogs. So as you can see there's a
lot of storage. Overhead storage here too. There's one there. Another one. Nice big
storage. And more here. More here on this side. So we got plenty of storage here.
And also we got these two hanging closets on each side. We got couple drawers
down here in the middle and more storage under the bed. This one you can access in
here and also outside the coach. Then here's the smaller storage under the
other twin bed. And here down the floor another storage where we keep our extra
waters and sodas. And here a couple pull-out drawers where we keep our extra
shoes. And this side where I store my vacuum cleaner. I really love this LED
lights here that's all throughout the coach and they're all dimmables. I'm so
glad that they changed into this kind one to two years ago. Also there are two
awning style picture windows here on each side that also has a daytime and
nighttime shade. And here's the second smart TV in our bedroom. One of the
unique features that separates the LTV from other travel vans is their separate
shower and toilet. No wet bath for us. Yay! So here's the shower area. It's a good
size and nice skylight up there. Privacy shower door here with the built-in
squeegee. And then you can dry here your wet clothes or wet towels. I really love
that they put this full-body mirror. And this door open all the way and this
kind of as a separation between two living spaces. Here's the bathroom area.
We have a macerator toilet that grinds the solids before it hits the tank.
Here's the control panel with button to flush it down. And also there's another
secondary panel here to turn on and off the lights, the fan, and the power pump
that's outside. So it's really nice that you don't have to go outside to do it
especially in a rainy day. Medicine cabinet up here and another storage
under the sink. Cubbies here in this corner and our second ventilation fan up
there. We just love how the Leisure Travel Van
designed their floor plans with several options that you can pick and choose the
kind of floor plan that will suit your travel lifestyle. So let's go outside and
we'll show you the outdoor features. So we got the awning which is a carefree
awning. It is an auto extend with the push of a button as well as wind
retracts. So if it's windy it will automatically retract. It has built-in
LED lights and as you can see it's a very good sized awning. We're parked in
one spot and it reaches all the way across to another one almost. It gives
you plenty of room underneath here to set up your tables, chairs, cookout, or
just hang out with your friends. We have our outlet right here so we can
power our electronic devices. It's a great setup for us we feel. We also got the
Alcoa wheels. They are the aluminum wheels instead of the steel ones to save
a little bit on the weight of the LTV. Plus it just looks way better. You gotta
love that chrome. Back we have our vent cover over our furnace. This is one of
our storage compartments. Here's where I keep a lot of my tools and stuff. I got
air compressors, cable for shore power, water holes, regulators, power adapters
are in there. Our batteries are right underneath here. So we have two lithium
batteries underneath there. And once again we have more storage. Here we have
storage with our sine wave converter. Here we have our generator. There's our LP
generator. Then just another real small storage compartment. But it still holds
quite a bit. We've been on a couple of different trips and we've come nowhere
close to doing all the storage. So we also one of the reasons we got the twin
bed was because of all the storage it has. Now the Wonder has a very large back
garage but the Unity has a very nice one too. Inside here already I've got a large
12 by 15 pad for the ground outside the coach. I have a 15 foot clamshell screen
room inside there. When I travel I usually have an air fryer inside here. So
there's lots of room on this side. Then as we walk around we have our trailer
hitch so we can tow up to 4,000 pounds. We're going to use it for is our bike
racks. Already got the 7 pin light connector in case you wanted to tow a
vehicle. Up on top we have our two backup cameras. The one is the actual
backup camera. The other one is a live camera feed at all times. As we walk
around this is the other part of the pass-through garage. You can see there. So
there's plenty of room still. We have our chairs. This is underneath the one twin
bed so you can get to it either way. But there's more than enough room to put
golf clubs yet. So we're looking forward to that trip. Underneath here this is our
service center. So we've got paint on off switch. Our water pump on off switch for
out here. Our propane fill. Our Santa flush. This is where we're going to plug
into and then dump with our black and gray tanks. On this side we have our
outdoor shower as well as our city hookup. And this is it gives you a very
easy winterized, non winterized valve so you can do the winterization yourself.
Power, shore power connects that. Then we have a larger case here. This is where I
have a lot of our chairs. Use the sewer hose and that's where it stores. This is
where our Truma hot water heater is. Then we have our last storage compartment.
And finally where you fill it with diesel which is nice it's behind the door so
you don't have to worry about someone stealing your diesel gas. So it's got a
24 gallon tank on it. We've been at with just under 7,000 miles we've been
averaging 16 and a half to 17 miles per gallon. Not too bad as it breaks in
more. Might as well go up a little bit. It's got that nice Leisure Travel Van lines all
the way up. And what's nice is it's got this nice footstep here so you can
actually get up here and clean all the window. And finally we got our 400 watts
of solar panel up there on top. We didn't get the LTV with it instead we went
aftermarket and got it afterwards. But boy are we glad we have it since we
travel quite often with our dogs. So we really love and enjoy this Leisure
Travel Van. We had fun and it's so smooth driving it. It's so worth the wait and
worth the price. So we're so excited and looking forward for more adventures with
our LTV. Thanks for watching and see you in our next videos!
