4* HORSE NOT HAPPY WITH YOUNG EROL | ZEB AND EROL GO SHOWJUMPING + XC || VLOG 142

Hey guys and welcome back to another vlog. So today we've got very sleepy Zeb here at the minute and we are going... Errol, please don't annoy him because he will get annoyed. We're going show jump training at Tweaseldown to have a jump on grass. We're taking Zeb, Errol and Tiny so this will be Errol's first time jumping away from home on grass. So fingers crossed he's good. Obviously Zeb's done it loads. I just thought it's quite a good opportunity to get out jumping on grass into quite a big arena and have some fun. So we've got them all groomed, they're all ready. We're going to get them loaded up and head on to Tweaseldown. Okay, hey guys. So I am just doing a voiceover because I didn't manage to get any bits of me talking through Errol's rounds. So I'm just warming up here. So this was Errol's first time jumping away from home on grass and he was rather overexcited. So we're just coming to our first warm-up jump there and you can see he's jumping very big and he was just getting very overexcited. Hence I didn't really stop. I just kept it going and tried to get him to relax and settle down a little bit. So we're just jumping the warm-up fence a few times before we then head on and jump some more of the course. So this was the first time coming to that jump and you can see how excited he is. He had a little buck afterwards and then just got in a little bit deeper to that red jump and I think that was the thing I found the most difficult is because he was so overexcited he was just getting a little bit ahead of himself wasn't going in his nice normal rhythm the same as when we come to this spread there. So he just came again and he jumped that much better. So I think he just needs to get out and do this more basically on grass just so that he learns to calm down. We've done a lot of jumping on surfaces but with it being winter we haven't been able to get out on grass. He did a big jump over that. This was the first time out in my new Devaku jump saddle. So even though he was putting in lots of different shapes I felt really really secure in the saddle and that really made a huge difference actually. I think he just pops in two strides in the one stride double there it was quite long. So it's a little bit messy but I was really pleased with him. Guys Errol just do that so I can actually see. Errol is feeling very very up for it he jumped very well he jumped everything I put him out didn't touch pole which is great. He was feeling very keen but yeah that's really good because like I say he's never actually jumped a full course of jumps on grass apart from when I've jumped yeah a grid on grass so that was all new to him but he jumped everything listened to what I was asking him to do so I was really really pleased with him actually. Okay Izzy how did you think that went? I think they have yeah good he just like comes out quite excited and I just need to remember to half hold and let go rather than hold. Yes yeah it's very hard because he's very different out here and at home yeah isn't he especially it's different out anyway but especially when you're on grass but I thought it was very nice actually yeah gets very like yes and actually you only had one fence down which was that first part of that double yeah he jumped the rest really nicely yeah good. I am I'm going to finish it there with Errol we're putting the fences up for Izzy. I was really pleased with him he came out he was quite excited but he jumped everything first time so he's never actually jumped a full course of jumps on grass or out I always like to finish it on a good note especially with the young horses just to you know keep their confidence up and my confidence up so I'm really chuffed with him but we are just putting fences up for Izzy so she can jump around again just go with it now don't chase him soft hands don't worry still jumping well yeah lovely don't worry when he gets in deeper it doesn't matter soft soft soft soft lovely that's it relax relax lovely go again don't worry if you get in on the deeper ones just think count yourself one two three one lovely one two three one good good one two three one lovely now just keep that count to the to the double don't change anything because he's jumping lovely just count look up and one two three one two yes good one two lovely oh that was a shame super keep counting counting weight a bit of a long one there okay how how do you think that went yeah good better just rusty yeah but that was much that was much better yeah it was a shame that one he didn't he didn't really deserve to have that one down yeah but actually the rest of it much much better through the double was better you took a bit of a long one to that yellow yeah you need to sit a bit quieter but that was better it got better each round got better and better once you got into it a bit more yeah good really good should be pleased with that okay guys so as you can see we've now swapped over we didn't really film any of that because it was all a bit chaotic there was a horse in the lorry next to that i think i don't know was trying to jump out or something so we're now on zeb so i'm gonna have a show jump on zeb um and then actually izzy's just booked some last minute cross country so she's gonna go i'm gonna have a jump then she's gonna go and have a jump on the cross country so era was currently in the trailer on his own causing hopefully not too much havoc um so i'm gonna get zeb warmed up and have a little jump with him i've just had a warm-up and zeb feels absolutely fantastic he feels very excited very pleased to be here which is always nice to feel at his age so i've had a good trot and a good cancer so he's all warmed up so i'm going to start having a jump over the cross pole okay he's just feeling absolutely epic he's just jumped around that whole course didn't touch a thing just is so on it feels great um which you know for him that's all we want in the minute we just want to go out enjoy ourselves him still being enjoying himself he doesn't need to prove anything he's jumped up to four star so as long as he's enjoying it um this also is the first time jumping out away from home um in like a big grass arena in a big environment where he can actually get moving in my new lovely new devaku saddle and not being very helpful now it is just amazing um what i've really liked was you've just this saddle allows so much more room for um movement at the front with his shoulder so i kept getting on really long shots you've just got on your coat fortunately that avoided your face sarah kept getting on really really long shots and he was just flying um and izzy took some pictures actually and he's actually really making a nice shape because when the fences are a little bit smaller he's always jumped a bit more like that because he doesn't have to really um bascule as much but he actually was in this saddle and also i need to watch the pushback i feel more secure with my lower leg i don't know what my lower leg feels it looks like because normally it ends up like that i wasn't watching that bit obviously yeah um so i am super chuffed i'm super chuffed with him i'm super chuffed like with the saddle the combination he just feels i mean he's ready to go again do um i don't know what something because he's very over excited but he just felt amazing and that's that's all i want at the minute it's just him to come out and feel good and he's definitely feeling good i mean look at him he is very over excited so yeah i'm super chuffed with him yeah that's okay just let the fence come to you on a mission what's that yeah really good yeah jumped everything anything no from water but didn't do anything he just like and did he go in yeah yeah i just had to be like yeah yeah but um it's just because it's running water there yeah okay but like as soon as i said go he went he went he looked good from the bit we saw yeah yeah very very excited and very quick yeah very quick up that hill there's a jump at the top of here yeah do you need to slow down no he looks fab okay feeling very good good lovely lovely yeah outside leg super lovely
