on the left yes right here
yep please go in to take care of all
details while I rub my
butt dang it I didn't have it
on back in
no this is the
KOA Grand
Island in
Niagara
area much bigger campsites than the last
Campground we were
in they're pretty rustic though they're
just
gravel got good internet good wifi good
internet close to Niagara Falls so that
was good about 20 minutes
away that camper from
Florida
California
Arkansas there people from everywhere
everywhere fishing pond number two
they got about as many cabins as they do
campsites you can tell by the camera
bouncing that they got plenty of Pooles
they need to fill up too here's the lake
here's the where the kids can play
they've got cornhole and basketball and
picnic tables yeah I think they got
chest boards built into the picnic
tables bouncy hat bouncy pillow thing
that swimming pool they're tearing up to
redo
so there you can see several of the
cabins and here's the little cart things
they've got that you can rent a bunny
rabbit oh there he
is he's a hiding nobody sees him
Papa nobody sees
him is that the out
house I bet it

uh Dr rooms High Vol his dress rooms it
says after a Non-Stop 6 and 1/2 hour
drive through Canada we're rving through
New York and today our first full day
after arriving at the Grand Island
KOA we're heading to one of Nature's
Most all inspiring
spectacles Niagara Falls there awful too
many people after about a 20 minute
drive and finding a rare to find parking
spot in Niagra Fall State Park the Roar
of the river flow and waterfalls was
pretty loud it is a powerful reminder of
the 41
m739 176 gallons of water that rush over
the waterfall every single minute it's
hard to imagine just how much that is
but as we stand at the edge of the
viewing area we can see and he the sheer
volume of water falling over the cliff
creating a heavy Mist that creates
rainbows in the the
sunlight every year Niagara Falls
attracts over 14 million visitors from
all over the globe drawn by its beauty
and power as we navigate through the
park we join other families couples and
solo travelers all sharing in The Wonder
of this natural Marvel
at Niagara Fall State Park visitors with
difficulty walking can fully enjoy the
beauty and attractions with the
convenience of the trolley tour the
trolley operates on a scenic route that
connects key points of interest
throughout the park making it easy to
explore without the need for long walks
or navigating steep paths be aware due
to the popularity of the trolley the
they regularly reach capacity and
service is not always available you may
have to wait in long lines waiting for
an empty seat and if you're with a large
group you most likely will have to
divide up into different
groups there are made of the Mist areas
Welcome Center aquarium terpin point
three sisters Island and then lot three
parking lot where you can get on or get
off of the trolley and it was $3 a
person to enjoy that benefit nor and I
don't walk great distances very well I
guess we've gotten to the age that
walking is more of a struggle than it
used to
be I guess that's the breads that goes
over to Goat
Island pedestrian walk to Goat
Island so that would make that go Island
across the
water and there's the falls in that
direction lot of water falling over
that all
right people there
go down
there
there's
the of the made of the Mist madian side
is red the US side is blue there's the
US side of the falls from the Horseshoe
Fall
side there's Norma getting a picture of
the
falls well let me recre that she's
getting her five thousandth picture of
the falls there's the Canada side well
you can't do Niagara Falls without
riding the made of the
Mist as we stood in the long waiting
line for the ticket booth at the M of
the Mist the side of the mighty Niagara
Falls in the distance only Hoten our
excitement we Shuffle forward admiring
the vibrant blue and white uniforms of
the crew we waited our turn to travel
down the 200t elevator
that is the only way down to the tour
booat finally it was our turn we stepped
into the large elevator but full of
others wanting to see the falls from
this perspective we made our way to the
boats where crew members handed out blue
ponchos to keep us dry from the
inevitable splashes and clicked to their
counter to register how many people can
get on one boat the boats were running
throughout the day typically about 10
boats making the journey every hour as
we boarded I couldn't but know noticed
the security and staff were very well
trained and good at what they did to
make the tour exciting but safe the
duration of each tour was around 20
minutes but it felt like a Timeless
moment as we drifted toward the
Thundering Falls with the Roar of the
water echoing in our ears we knew this
would be an experience would cherish
forever
[Music]
AED to the city
street we began to feel the
[Music]
fire We rise like tall
buildings as the chemicals they take us
higher the night's
young it it's just
begun that she puts a hand
in we want to chase
the to dance to the light pull down from
the sky just two hearts running World
never sleep never stop as we sh from the
top we going to we going to
[Music]
be all right just crank it up here we
[Music]
go this is the adult version of a wet
ride at Disneyland
so
oh
oh
after doing some shopping checking the
sights and sounds from the American side
we had hoped to venture over to Canada
to find a different
perspective however the amount of mist
that was blowing up out of the
waterfalls into the sky made its own
thunderstorm cloud and we got
soaked for those of you who do have a
chance make your way over the the
Rainbow Bridge is a lovely arching
structure that spans the Niagara
River the bridge is an easy walk we can
see the Mist Rising high above the Falls
creating a rainbow that lives up to its
name crossing the bridge is seamless and
once you arrive in Canada they treat you
with stunning views of the Horseshoe
Falls the experience is magical the
thundering sound of the water and the
vibrant colors and landscape and the
excitement of everyone coming together
to create their own Unforgettable
memories as we wrap up our day we
reflect on the power and beauty of
niagar Falls feeling fortunate to have
experienced it
firsthand all while enjoying the
Comforts of our RV at the Grand Island
KOA we're able to get to eat at an Olive
Garden close by and we did some laundry
at the campground before it was time to
say goodbye it's a perfect blend of
Adventure
sightseeing and the beauty and power of
nature and the joy of traveling in our
motor home
