更有效。當我們在練習組織一句英文句子的時候, 我們要明白英語句子最基本的結構包括1) 一個主語(subject) 和1)一個動詞(verb)。 這個幾乎是每句英語句子都需要的。Justin也指出當我們建立英文句子的時候,冠詞 (articles)會出現在大多數的英文句子, 我們最常用的冠詞包括a, an , the。例如當我們想建立一句提及貓的英文句子,我們應該說’a cat’, ‘the cat’, 而不是 ‘I have cat’。英文冠詞看似簡單,但這是亞洲學生最常犯的英文錯誤之一。

今天呢我就有我的好朋友Justin
那Justin呢是一個土生土長的一個美國人
那他已經在韓國教英文教了11年了
所以今天呢我就想要跟他說一下
到底有什麼方法我們可以學英文學得更好呢
So one of the things that I often talk about with students is the fact that
they learn a lot of words but they don't really use them
So some of the things that I really encourage my students to do
and sometimes make my students do
is to not just learn a new word and what it means in their language
but to learn a new word and actually use it in sentences
So actually using that productive type of learning
practicing, using, in speaking, in writing
is a huge improvement over just again passively learning and rote memorization
And then when it comes to sentences
because you asked about building sentences
the most important thing you need to remember about really English as a whole
is the fact that our basic core thing that we need to use is a sentence
a sentence conveys one idea
it needs to be one solid idea
and to do that in our most basic form of English sentence
is you need to have a subject and you need to have a verb
and pretty much every English sentence needs this
So you need to understand what is the action and what is doing the action
So even a simple sentence like I eat or she dances
these are actual sentences
they're full concepts, they're full ideas
and that is very, very important
because what I find with students learning English of any language
is that they might forget this
and it doesn't matter how many other things that you have in your sentence
how many objects, adjectives, adverbs
if you don't have the subject and you don't have the verb
you a lot of times don't actually have a sentence
That's a great point
那Justin剛才說的就是
很多時候如果我們只是靠記vocabulary的話
我們沒有一個能力去建立不同的句子
所以我們必須要記得
英文有subject and verb
那我們就可以從這裡就努力地建一個句子
剛才Justin也跟我說了一個重要一點
他就是說很多時候學articles其實很重要
these are the three that you will use the most
one of the things I've noticed a lot
when it comes to general English language books
is that they tend to talk about
countable versus uncountable
in regards to using much and many
and though those are important words
and we do use them a lot in our language
I think articles are the much more important reason
why you need to learn about countable and uncountable
because if it is single and countable
often times in your sentence
you want to have an article
you want to say the cat, a cat
you wouldn't just say I have cat
you would need to have the article in there
in English for it to make sense
and a lot of times I feel this is
it seems so small and so common
but it is one of the most common errors
that I see students make
那今天Justin就剛才已經說了
article的重要性
那如果你也想要聽到更多
關於Justin很有意義的一些建議的話
