I am so happy that I found acrylic pouring/fluid art a few years ago. It has helped me in so many ways and it just keeps getting better and better. This visual arts creative outlet has made me so happy. I am loving this abstract art! I hope to keep doing this for years to come! I have always been fascinated by modern and contemporary art. There is something about it that is so freeing and expressive. I love acrylic pouring because I get to experiment and really join the creative side of my brain with the scientific part! There are so many different fluid acrylic pouring techniques out there, so much more to try and have fun with. Make sure you are subscribed to my channel so that you may learn and be creative with me. I love hearing all of your comments. hey you guys it's Molly I am going to
try to do a colander pour with the
artist paints tonight so I've got
ultramarine phthalo green titanium white
gold and black I don't normally use
black in in my course because sometimes
it takes over this is Mars black so I'll
see how it actually goes and sometimes
it makes white with the gray with the
mix with the white so I'll see how it
turns out I'm willing to experiment a
hull see you guys in a sec alright you
guys I am how cute is that my my
colander matches my canvas no this is a
previously used canvas here is my cup of
paint the artist paints are so creamy
this is this is gonna be perfect and
none of the colors are bleeding together
and I know that that is going to show up
well on the colander pour so underneath
here I have my little cake stand let me
see if I can show you and I have these
little sticks under there to hold the
canvas and just spinning slowly is all
that it takes
[Music]
pouring in the center always pushes the
paint outwards the green and the black
it's a very pretty combination together
so what happened on my last colander
pour the one that I ended up scraping
and having to waste all that paint was i
torched to get the air bubbles out and
when I did that it created all these
tiny little cells and it ruined the
design it was right in the middle of the
design and I just didn't want it so okay
so I'm gonna pull this up very slowly
have the paint drip out once the holes
start closing up
then it's pretty much done drink'll that
is really pretty then it's pretty much
done and I'll show you guys hold on one
second and I'll show you the column how
pretty is just that colander and then
that peels out and you've got a skin
that you can use it's amazing all right
I'll get you back on the canvas so
that's what that inside looks like that
balloon is gonna come out really pretty
I think gosh I need a better camera I'm
gonna start a GoFundMe
uh-hum all right so let me make sure
that you're all the way panned out and
then I'm gonna get to spinning okay let
me make my colander and so the paint is
so I'm not gonna torch this time I'm
gonna pop any air bubbles that I see
with my hand you can do this by the way
okay so you want to make sure when
you're spinning for centrifugal force
that the paint is in the center the
weight of the paint is in the center so
I'm going to stretch this this way a
little bit stretch it that way a little
bit stretch it back that way a little
bit okay now I've got my design pretty
much in the center and so take me all
day to do all those and I'm gonna go
ahead and start spinning this out the
designs already I can see are really
really pretty in there so fingers
crossed guys
okay so got it move into that side I'm
gonna move this around just a little bit
because obviously I'm at a little bit of
a tilt so they should start going off
there we go okay
move the weight of the paint back that
way just a little bit and now hopefully
it'll start going off at that side so I
gotta make be careful not to drip on
their spun out there I'm just gonna get
my things back under there
okay now I'm starting to spin off this
way too which is good getting to all my
edges
all right now once you've gotten it down
all of your edges the rest of it you can
do with tilting so I think that's what
I'll do because it's all around my edges
now so this part is good let me wipe my
hands and then I'll stretch this out a
little bit and you can take a look okay
so I'm not going to stretch much I just
want I think I want it this way just a
little bit more so this way over
just stretching out the middle design
get a little bit more centered okay you
guys I think that's it I don't want to
overwork it I'm gonna take you down and
show you because it's beautiful I have
this one like phantom one right there
that's really cool
all right let me see if I can take you
down without burning yo my light is
always in the way so there are those
little ghost designs like little bugs
wow that one is so pretty
I just really I really really like this
and someone said oh this is a this is a
fad and it's not replicable it's like
have you seen my channel oof the center
I forgot about the little balloon in the
center so that's what it looks like I'm
pretty happy with spinning it out I
actually really like this one that's
right here in the middle it's like the
star of the painting it's like the focal
point almost trying to steal it from the
balloon but yeah so there you go you
guys a little spun out colander pour
using our teza paints which I'm loving
alright so you can check out all my
links below I've got a discount code for
the artists uh if you want to try it out
