Making Mini Kitchen Garden / March
(jjamisama teobat)
The floor is hard, so I make a mold and fill it with soil.
I bought these logs from a nearby lumberyard.
Covering the newspaper on the grass
Because grass grows again even after being pulled out,
I cover it with newspaper instead of pulling it out.
(Newspapers are made from natural pulp, and ink is made from soybean oil, so they are safe from environmental pollution.)
Newspapers block light, prevent grass from growing and slowly ferment over time and return to the soil.
Soil filling
If soil is difficult to obtain, it can be filled with topsoil.
Installing wire mesh for vine plants
If you build a wire mesh to attract vines in a small field, you can plant more crops.
(Wire mash is available in hardware stores)
The wire mesh height should be higher than the height of the stick supporting the pepper.
compost
It's good to add soil-improving lime fertilizer before composting. (You can use eggshells or shells instead)
You can add 20 to 30 kilograms of compost to Han-Pyeong (about 3.3 square meters).
It's a small garden, so rather than making a passage, it only creates a space to step on with a cornerstone in the middle.
Mixing compost with soil
Covering the leaves.
If the soil is covered with fallen leaves or rice straw, the ground will not become hard and will remain soft.
It's early March, but the temperature is still below zero in my area.
Planting crops begins in earnest in April, when the temperature rises on video, and the compost sown is well settled on the ground.
I'll see you then ^^
