Battle for the control of Congress

the fight for control of Congress Rick Klein and Rachel Scott Are Back Rick let me begin with you the Senate has gone red house still up in the air but they have some movement yeah that's right the Senate uh the the Democrats went into the night with a 5149 advantage and they left the night and as of this morning plus three on the Republican side pickups in uh in Ohio West Virginia and then just this morning Montana going to the to the Republicans as well and we've got five races that are still undecided very possible that that one two three four of these end up landing on the Republican side that will give Donald Trump a huge majority to work with to confirm his cabinet secretaries and Supreme Court picks and the house the house right now is 212 Republicans in counting uh that's a pickup of a couple but there's a few that they might give back we're nowhere near counting especially some districts in California and as odd as it is for that red wave that we saw last night it's actually still possible that the Democrats take control of the house if they get some flips out west and Rachel what do we think this means for the Trump agenda we've asked that question to his advisers what are you looking at yeah this is going to give Donald Trump a very real chance to pass most of his agenda so not only the cabinet picks I want to read for you some of the things that Donald Trump has been promising on the campaign Trail Mass deportations terminating every border policy of the Biden Administration tariffs on goods from overseas repealing Biden's electric vehicle mandate restoring a travel ban on certain countries also additional aid for Ukraine possibly even Israel also going to be hanging in the balance as well George SC R line thanks very much
