WEEK IN MY LIFE | the holiday dinner party, massive closet clean out & winter clothing haul

hi y'all welcome back to another week in my life Vlog this week is so exciting because I'm hosting my dinner party that is the holiday themed it was a dream come true we are working on home projects you guessed it I'm decluttering the house working on friend of mine also I'm in print and I'm doing quite a bit of shopping I've really been doing a little bit too much shopping lately hence the closet clean out but all great stuff honestly I don't regret any of it Al I hope you guys enjoy hi y'all welcome back to another Vlog today has been such an adult day it's currently 2 p.m. I did two workouts I returned my rental car I picked up my car from Firestone I got it detailed my house the windows are getting cleaned I was doing a bunch of like random home things that I had to get done I had four meetings about like potential hires and things that ways that were growing the business there's like so many other random things that I had to do but it was very adult and very boring so with that being said we're starting the Vlog now it was a very productive day right now I'm actually at the mall North Park Mall my favorite place ever and I'm going to return controversial take the pink bow for the Christmas tree I think this bow topper this is actually stunning and this is an incredible bow topper if you guys are interested I will link it just because I don't think there's any one that's better than this but on my tree it's not really giving what I want it to be giving like my home is more Nancy Myers it's just like not n like that's just not what I'm wanting I like the tree topper that I have even though it was an unpopular take and there was 500 comments telling me to keep the pink bow but you guys don't see my vision I need it to be like eclectic you know what I mean so I'm sticking with my original tree topper we're going to go return this to anthropology and then run into Reformation because I'm going to look at their KN like winter pieces and stuff and see like what I want to pick up for things that I'm hosting in the next couple of weeks um so we're going in I'm listening right now to Jude Law on armchair expert which is like a dream come true of the holiday and I'm hosting my the holiday themed dinner party this week which is just it's everything to me [Music] so back from the mall and I just came home to a really exciting package I got the rest oh my God I got the rest of our taper candles for our glab with Mala we did a candle glab with Mala which is really exciting they're like dinner party candles and here they are oh here they are they are so cute you get 10 hours burn PR candle look at this like how cute mall is an amazing brand they plant one tree every single candle I love these we got a ton cuz I'm going to do some dinners with them so this is exciting I'm hosting a dinner party this week so I can use them then and then I got these custom shopping bags for just some holiday events really for a photo shoot but we're also going to use it for some holiday events I'm not even going to take them out these custom shopping bags also we had a really nice write up in paper City mag I'll link it below all about the family cards and more on my family and like where a friend of mine came the like story obviously behind friend of mine just like honoring my little brother um so I was very emotional this morning and then tomorrow I just got an email that tomorrow I'm in print so we have to go see that anyways time for a little haul the sweater that I'm wearing right now I got from Reformation it's so good I'm really trying to build a wardrobe of pieces that I will keep forever classic traditional you guys have seen in the past like 6 months or so honestly longer than that I've been trying to really like mature my wardrobe and this I just love these jeans are like my really loose baggy jeans and with the fit like they're a little too baggy I feel like just wearing Uggs really chill like my my dad's coming over for dinner and we're going to go to the fire pit so like nothing crazy but I did want to change this dress I'm in love with the quality is unreal it's just like a really stretchy nice fabric um and I just think it's going to be a staple like in my closet honestly for years and years to come but also for this holiday season it just seems perfect like I put this on and loved it it's really comfortable and I feel like a lot of my holiday stuff just like is not comfortable so I love that and then I also got that black velvet dress but I don't even if I vlogged it actually I did probably on Tik Tok but they didn't have my size so that's coming in the mail and then I got this coat which is so classy and it comes with a scarf that you can take off or keep on which is just you know a two for one sort of deal but like the buttons on this coat are everything to me I'm in love with this like I wish it was cold tomorrow maybe it will be we'll see I'm just oh my God this is everything to me I kept going back and forth and then I was like what am I thinking this is perfect so love that Reformation in Hill housee which we're about to open some Hill House stuff are definitely my two most-worn like higher in Brands where it's just a little bit more money I would say normally either we I would say we a lot of abomi a lot of skims and then a lot of Hill House and a lot of reformation I'm definitely wear other things but like that's really what it is around here like that's Reformation all of that's gims all of that's abumi a lot of that's Hill housee a lot of that's reformation and now we have our hillh house items so the amazing thing about having a Hill House store here now that literally just open at North Park is that things are out of stock online but they're in stock in the store that's how I got that brown jacket back there you guys saw it probably in a recent vlog that I'm in love with loved it and also today was the like 30% off Hill housee deal I also have a code Kenzie 15 for 15% off Hill House which I wish I I knew because I've placed so many orders like I've got so much more Hill House coming in and I just literally didn't even know and I wasn't even using my own code I don't know how anyways these are my favorite pajamas I have them in the pink and white stripes and this is like the Christmas version of them the little like Peter Pan collar and I love this like I will absolutely be wearing these on Christmas so classy so amazing and I get the pajamas in a size large I want pajamas to feel like pretty loose on me that's just like one size up from my normal I would say I'm a very true medium and then this jacket I've wanted this jacket and potentially the skirt with the jacket for so long well for a couple months since I saw it last and I just haven't pulled the trigger but with the sale it was like $100 off today so I got this and I just think it was the right call because I haven't I didn't impulse buy it and I've been thinking about it a lot and I love a jacket as a top this season it's like all I'm wearing or like sweaters that are more like jacket structured Vibe as a top love it so much and this is just so classy I've got two other ones from Hill House back three other ones actually back there and I just love them I wear them a lot on my ltk I have a bunch of like my favorites from Hill house giving Nancy Meyers a little bit of the holiday I mean it's just Nancy Myers is the holiday so you know it kind of works love this Vibe I'm really glad I switched out the charger to these I actually really like it I've tried that before like it doesn't look right like that but it looks good with the napkin that's going to be for our hot cocoa little station over there I thrifted this entire 18 piece set it was insane and I love that so yeah I like this these are also thrifted a little more of an eclectic look these I got on Amazon My Fake hydranges from Amazon the plate wall is looking cute here it is giving a bit of winter um and then these are at home all this stuff will be linked but I'm really liking the setup and it didn't take me long at all that took me like 20 minutes which is the fastest it's ever taken me [Music] I just a quick question about good morning y'all it's now 6:40 it's 50° outside meaning I'm going to put on my new coat I'm going to try a new workout class called sculpt towels it's like reformer pilates with a treadmill portion I've always wanted to do it but like I couldn't run or think I could run for the longest time and now I can so we'll see how this goes I have no idea have a lot of friends who go there so we'll see just me and my new coat something about wearing the nice coat over a matching workout set just feels so Chic to me also like my God I'm obsessed also I'm going to wear my new olly Rose socks their collaboration with my friend Claire C Smith I don't want to rip this in case I need it look at them Oli Rose by CCS so cute and they're so clear the bow the cowboy hat the Dy like it's just they're so cute so anyways I'm wearing these which will be exciting I'm going to go make a little snack and then go to this new workout oh my God Macy and Tabby are meeting me there I've really been incorporating Pilates back into my routine and it just feels so good I love sculpt at fit Social Club speaking of Dallas recks I'm going to make an entire like Dallas masterless wreck of like all the restaurants everything that I like all the workouts even like handymen like people like contractors landscapers people which I don't have like landscapers but I have people who do landscaping cling realtor more of like even like a homeowner guy I'll have a a little portion in there so anyways we're off fie he's coming to hug me he's coming to hug me he loves me he was sleeping on my dad last night the entire time we watched the holiday like cuddled up on him I would give anything for you to treat me like that fits anything he has come quite the hugger I will say and he's a little cold cuz of his haircut so he wears a sweater now I forget what line this actually is from set active but it's the smoothest it's my favorite I always forget the name so normally my tree lights they turn on at like 6:40 so we've got 2 minutes made a lot of progress on my sour dough needle point last night y'all [Music] [Music] emphasis all actually stopping at Bars & Noble because I'm in Lux Interiors this month and I want to pick up some copies and see it so we're going to go to Barnes really fast I'm so tired so I'm going to drink meal and if you know anything about Macy it's that Macy her would only eat a rotisserie chicken for breakfast lunch and dinner for the rest of her life have given the option anyways they didn't have that but we did get sandwiches and it's the cutest little shop and Bishop Arts fries sandwich we got the what sandwich did we get do you remember I forgot the one they started but uh which one one that we got mhm P chicken oh we got P [Music] chicken y'all I'm home I am so tired and I'm so sore like oh my God um really exciting package just came in so I probably haven't talked about this in a bit but this is one of my favorite things that I own I have this cooling weighted blanket from Luna I've had one for probably 3 years I sleep with it every night it helps so much with anxiety like it makes you feel very calm very safe they sent me one years ago I was in the townhouse and I always tell this story but I was just not not having the best day ever and Dom was there and then I got under the blanket and I was like all of a sudden I'm like happy like it did something and there's some sort of science I looked at the website just to like link it from people then I saw that there was like some sort of science that was I don't know somehow making people happy literally have no idea anyways I've wanted a king version since I moved into this house and they haven't been available online for the longest time so I've just had this full version back from when I had a full in the townhouse on my bed this entire time and finally got a king it's so amazing I will link them below the most amazing gift my grandma has one now because she slept with mine and was like I need this like anyone who comes to my house if you know you know and it's cooling so you don't get super hot under the weighted blanket I cannot and I will not sleep without it you just get the best rest ever and it's so calming and amazing so anyways I'm really excited that I finally have the king version anyways it really just makes the biggest difference ever like I love this blanket then I also got more pajamas I'm wearing my new skims pajamas right now so soft the holiday shop is available hello fits I talked about that in my last video um so good for gifts but I have some pajamas from print fresh they have really cute stuff so this I don't even think these are holiday these are just like normal I'm like a long sleeve pants pajama girl they didn't have this Fabric or this pattern in that which honestly that'll be fine honestly these might be a little too big like um these are just like shorts and a t-shirt which will be great so I'll have options I always get long sleeve and I really never like go the other way so excited to have these okay so these are the Christmas ones they're so cute y'all know how I feel about pajamas like yes my dream is to have the best pajamas for friend of mine like that is something I will take so seriously like you all know how I am about pajamas I'm like crazy okay and then just matching pants I got these in a size large I'm aure size medium I size up in pajamas typically but like look at how cute that is I'm so excited and I got yesterday I'm going to do a cleanout you guys we'll get to that point um of clothes and just donate a lot of clothes I'm going to donate and then I think I also might sell some back to like thread up or whatever cuz if you send stuff in with thread up they'll give you Reformation credit so I need to do that I actually need to order those bags I got the Hill House ones yesterday so I need to like don't at some stuff his sweater like kills me it's crazy cuz he actually loves wearing clothes like if I take this when I take his clothes off people think this sounds like I'm that person who's like I have no idea how my 5-year-old painted the M Lisa like it's not that but when I take his sweater off he will go grab it and bring it back to me I think it's like an anxiety thing or something I don't know he just loves it and then he has this little sticker on his name tag that Sophie put there so we haven't taken that off yet but it's I think it's time for us to go to sleep I need to go go to bed I'm reading we have book club next week I'm reading oh he's like tapping oh maybe you do want this I'm reading uh Bethany Joy Lin's book her Memoir that I've been waiting for for so long but I paused reading cuz I wanted it to be like fresher on my mind so I'm finishing it like this week I just haven't been reading as much as I normally do I've been loving hosting book club though especially now that I have my book club cards from a friend of mine so great gift also for the holiday season Fitz you are such a prince like it's actually crazy all right um I will see yall in the morning oh my gosh lucky this this weighted blanket is 20 lb so like it really is a whole oh my gosh good thing I weight LIF guys I'm literally a bodybuilder look what has arrived how exciting Martha's 100th book this will be on display for the dinner party tomorrow our Queen so at this point I sear guys a little garden check in it's looking amazing over here look at all the peppers we have going we have one 2 3 4 5 that's exciting so we've got some stuff we've got some swi Shard going here not liking the look of that what is happening here all right let's let's get better over here guys teamwork cow flower Lots going currently oh I'm almost done with dinner but obviously we have avalene out we have the holiday on avalene if youall don't know it's Cameron Diaz's Wine Company it's one of my favorite wine companies it's actually the company that got me even into drinking wine I'm really picky I really like like natural all that stuff I know I like it a lot I like their white wine a lot and then I have proxies out which is a non-alcoholic wine we I always have to have a non-alcoholic wine because the people that come to my dinner parties oftentimes are under the age of 26 and people under the age of 26 really are not drinking much these days but I also like to have this especially on like a school night you know what I mean this is I'm literally aand of woods this is crazy this is crazy I my luggage to arrive at Rosell Cottage I hope you guys don't [Music] mind good morning it's Thursday morning I have never been so tired like even getting out of bed I don't know why I feel like fatigued like I don't know like there's something like healthwise that's not like life I I don't know I don't know I got a timer for my tree so every morning I wake up and it's on and then it turns off like right after I go to bed basically and I love it for sure because I think there's like a survival I said oh okay okay okay okay got really intense and then everyone guys I'm just having like the sleepiest day of my whole life I took my meetings this morning we had a bunch of like finance and like planning for friend of mine and a bunch of stuff I'm actually making some hires right now so thank God mey come over because she need to shop our closet um and she needed an outfit for later there's like a spritz happy hour that you guys don't know Macy works or Spritz so I'm going to support Macy at her work event tonight um but she came over and she brought me a coffee I have so many packages so here's what's on the agenda for today I have had this in my calendar for 3 weeks that today is a declutter day and you always I don't know about you guys like I'll plan a full cleaning declutter day and it is the best feeling in the world when you plan something 3 weeks in advance and you wake up that morning and you're just like thank God I'm in the mood to clean and declutter I'm in the mood to nap right now okay so I am going to at least force myself to declutter my closet and my bedroom because I really want to get like four trash bags of clothes donated the trees came in for the vines that are going to be out there in my like patio space area which is very exciting stuff um we're redoing the Landscaping out there it looks horrible right now it's actually going to get fixed this weekend so stay tuned I've been really active on Tik Tok and just been posting a lot of stuff over there but hopefully that'll get done and then I need to go through my anthropology packages declutter my room my closet and just get that done like I've had it on the calendar so that I didn't book anything during this time and now that it's this time I'm like why did I do this you know so anyways I did get a new pajama set from Hill House by the way this is on sale and I ordered online a couple weeks ago but this isn't like a very comfortable pajama material so I'm just wearing it more as like Lounge wear around the home I made a massive anthropology order this actually isn't even everything comfortable by the way the new skims ones I'll have them LED like this oh my God they're so perfect anyways only the best of the best all right we're going to get really cut the row with what we're doing [Music] [Music] [Music] I feel like a brand new woman I just went through and I have five bags full of donations and then everything in here is cleaned out more those are all of my pajamas I love a good pair of pajamas Lounge sets this used to be full it's not full anymore these are all my sweats and stuff which yes I could have less of them for sure but it's just hard to decide so whatever I'm not even worrying about that I'm going to go through and organize like my drawers now which I'm just going to get it over with that only took me like 40 minutes it always feels like it's going to take longer than it does all right y'all my sister has arrived and I feel so much better so much less anxious I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders cuz I just had so much excess that I needed to get rid of but I'm getting curtains made for this house because I feel like it's going to make it so much Cozier and then also it is going to give more Nancy Myers kind of vibe and it's going to like offset this like modern stuff over here um I'm going to use two pages I asked on Instagram and this is what all of y'all recommended it's actually like really affordable custom curtains they're a custom in the sense of like the measurements my mom used to have a custom curtain business or hey like a window treatments they get really pricey I ordered the Swatch and I don't want fully white I'm thinking more of a oh wait I'm thinking between like these three but this seems too gray like I don't like it that's definitely maybe too gray and too dark but I don't know between these two but then that's might be too wet I think this might be the one but now that I'm thinking about it it's going to be up against this so is it going to look weird I don't know with the coloring like it actually matches pretty well I don't know I need to call my mom all right y'all I'm off to HG for a little Spritz happy hour here's my outfit it's actually my first time being able to wear a coat it's like 60° so this is what we're wearing the Reformation coat that I got this week I'm in love with it also I did get an email just now from Reformation saying that they're having really great Black Friday sales I'm going to really get like so specific on my boards and I don't like throwing product out that like just cuz this one's on Black Friday but stuff that I constantly share and stuff since it's all on my LDK and Shop mine stuff it'll be easy to find anyways my everyday go-to jewelry from a it looks so nice and it's really actually a great price my $8 Target t-shirt as y'all know these jeans they're kind of like high-waisted I thought these were low I mean that's my belly button so they're not I don't know whatever um they're dark wash and I like them they're higher than I've been normally wearing and a little bit tighter but I'm into them and then my favorite Flats from midwell love that and then this is my like old Louis Vuitton that I got on the real real in college so anyways we are off dis sprits good morning y'all I just got back from my workout we have the Mala launch we have a lot of stuff I need to get done today and then I'm going to show you all a little bit of the patio it's looking you know it's looked better I'm not going to lie next week it's going to look a lot better but I had to start vlogging I haven't really vlogged I'm so obsessed with Tik Tok right now I feel like on Tik Tok everyone's really understand sing my host Vibe Sophia Bush just liked and favored my Tik toks of like the holiday thing last just so cute and it's crazy because next week I am actually hosting book club but it's Karen's Cafe so I really need to go all out for that because we're reading if you guys missed it we're reading Bethany Joy lenses who's Haley James Scott from wry Hill we're reading her Memoir she was in a CLE it's really crazy so the theme is Karen's Cafe and I'm just going to have everyone bring a good baked good I'm going to wear my clothes over bro hat if going to be like so cute oh my God I got genius [Music] ideas yes yes all of this it's just a job that's going to get done slowly we've got a lot of other Landscaping um coming I just need to actually get the plants and then have them planted but I'm so excited all right y'all I just filmed some more ads I ordered Hudson house I'm so hungry I don't feel amazing I'm very tired I don't know what getting I don't know why I feel this way this week but I'm in my Hill House pajama said it's Friday at 400 p.m. and I'll be working for the rest of the night from my bed I
