México vs Honduras | 2024/25 Concacaf Nations Cuartos de Final

The final night of the CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals. It's leg two from Estadio Nemesio Diez in Toluca, Mexico. But tonight here in Toluca, it's Honduras and Mexico. A four man wall in front of Alexis Vega. Vega just over the bar. Tried to just get that down under the bars. Loose in the middle, Arboleda for Rodriguez. Especially if this game goes 120 minutes, that will become a factor. Huescas flips it up, back post, Gallardo's there, he misses. And the header almost out of play. Quick passing here, Vega, lays it off, Alvarez puts it. Still Orozco, looking in, field drops it is. And Drew Fisher brings this first half to a close. For the Charlotte Independents in USL League One. Tienes, his cross, back post, wow! It's almost something spectacular. Jimenez off his chest, Jimenez cuts it back. Sky's wide. Maybe something out here for Honduras. Rodriguez bursting forward, Arboleda's in the middle. This is saved. Here's the service, flicked across, turned in, scores for. Wanted to, he pulls it back. It's Sanchez! Well, that was very, very close. And I assume this will be looked at. Where was the contact? It looked to be in the area. Martín scores. And cruising into the Nations League Finals. Is full time. Mexico get the job done. Trailing 2-0 on aggregate. It's four goals to nil in this second leg.
