Hi friends and welcome to day eight of your 30-day meditation.
Let's begin to take a few moments to find your comfortable position today.
That may be sitting upright in an easy seat on your mat.
It may look like sitting on a block or a blanket.
It might even be lying down with a pillow or a bolster.
You can even bring a blanket over you or listen to this meditation in bed.
Whichever way honors your body today, just follow that
and just be sure that you're able to fully relax
and decompress in this posture for the next 10 minutes or so.
Let's begin with finding a deep inhalation through the nose.
Nice deep breath.
Open mouth, exhale, release all of that air.
Another inhale, fill up as much as you can.
Exhale, release all of it out. Now finding a nice bear hug.
Grasping the opposite shoulder, squeeze your shoulders up by your ears.
Deep breath in and gently exhale, release your grip.
Draw your shoulders down your back.
Let your arms and palms melt down by your sides or rest softly on your knees.
As you begin to settle into your space, you may choose to place one hand on your heart,
one hand on your belly today, and maybe you take both hands to your heart,
maybe both to your belly, and just begin to soften your gaze.
Close your eyes, allow your face to soften and feel heavy.
Relaxing your brows and removing the tongue from the roof of your mouth.
Sending some space in between your teeth.
Then melt your lips together and as you feel your chest rising and falling,
your belly expanding and contracting, taking some sweet time to
explore this moment.
Investigate the stillness and the silence.
Just you and your breath.
Now inhale, filling your lungs back with fresh air, taking in as much oxygen as possible.
And then melting your shoulders further down your back
while you're exhaling out any and all still air.
Finding your existence in this space, becoming the watcher of your thoughts,
the witness of this environment and this experience.
Just begin to internally applaud yourself, thank yourself
for taking these few moments of your time for yourself.
Making a small dedication to yourself is so very important.
I'm finding an inhale and holding this breath this time.
Once you fill up for five, four, three, two, one.
Gently exhale for five, four, three, two, one.
Finish pushing out all of the air and begin to breathe naturally.
You can release your hands to your knees
or by your sides.
Your palms may face up or down.
Let's begin.
I'm so very grateful you've taken this time for yourself,
dedicating some time to heal any part of you that needs to be healed.
And healing is not always a physical thing.
It can be mental, it can be spiritual, it can be emotional.
Whatever you feel yourself battling with today,
whether that be a physical injury or an illness, maybe some type of emotional heartache,
know this is all temporary.
Any kind of internal or external damage is temporary.
And just understand that our minds and our bodies are so powerful.
We don't always give ourselves credit for how powerful we really are.
It's amazing what we were created to be.
There is an abundance of healing and peace and joy
that we can attain and draw into our lives if we just begin to really focus
on solely allowing positivity into our lives.
Your body's ability to heal
is so much greater than anything anyone has told you
or tried to convince you of.
What you'll want to do today is set your focus, your soul focus,
on any area or part of you that needs healing.
You'll want to surround it with prayer, patience, peace, and stillness.
You'll want to invite positive energy and thoughts that fill you with
happiness, love, strength, and overall well-being.
Bringing back any and all happy memories of the most joyous occasions.
Breathing softly.
Bringing your attention to the fact that your heart is still beating.
Your lungs expanding and contracting.
Bringing oxygen into your body and the love of God filling your body with peace.
Deep breath in and exhale let it all go.
Now let's bring your awareness back to your face.
Unclenching your jaw. Relaxing your forehead.
Allowing your tongue to lay softly in your mouth.
Releasing your shoulders away from your ears.
Just feeling the sensation of relaxation filling your entire body.
Making its way to the root of your body.
Flowing into the ground.
Inhale and exhale let it go.
Feel the support of the earth underneath you.
Making you feel more and more grounded at this moment.
Your body may feel heavy but your heart is light.
Inhale and sigh it out.
If you're finding that it was an emotional damaging
bring your awareness to your heart, to your chest,
and send breath there.
If it's a physical healing that you're looking to achieve
with each breath imagine sending your exhale to that specific spot.
Send all of your focus to that spot.
Breathe.
Simply allow God's love to flow into your body.
Starting from the crown of your head all the way to your toes.
Filling each and every part of your body.
Inhale and exhale.
Tell yourself that you are healthy.
You are strong and you are healing.
You can repeat this in your mind while you find a moment of stillness
for the next few breaths.
Begin to bring your awareness back to your breath.
Gently and slowly inviting your breath back.
Just soft inhales and exhales.
With your eyes closed you can begin to gently turn your head from side to side
and then bring your palms together to your forehead to remind yourself
that your mind is so powerful and to only allow positivity
into your mind.
Bringing your palms to your lips to remind yourself to speak positively to others
and speak positive encouraging words to yourself.
You are loved and you have a purpose.
Bring your hands to your heart to remind yourself of that.
You're not a coincidence.
You're not a mistake.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made and you may flutter your eyes open.
Thank you friends for joining me in our meditation today.
I pray that you feel empowered and know that you are blessed
and can continue on with your life without fear of the future.
I'll see you tomorrow.
Bye!
