Hi friends and welcome to day nine of your 30-day meditation.
Begin to find your position for today and that may be finding an easy seat on your mat,
sitting upright, sitting on a block or a blanket. It might be lying down with a bolster or pillow
and just whichever way honors your body today. Follow that and just be sure that you're able
to relax fully and deeply in this posture for the next 10 minutes.
Let's begin with a deep inhalation through the nose and then open mouth exhalation.
Now grasping opposite elbows, let's find a nice bear hug and squeeze your shoulders
up by your ears. Deep breath in all the self-love and exhale. Gently release your grip,
rolling your shoulders down your back and let your arms and palms melt down by your sides
or rest softly onto your knees.
As you begin to settle into this space today, just choose to place one hand either on your
heart and on your belly or take both hands and place them on your heart.
Just begin to really feel the beat of your heart, recognizing the life within you.
Eyelids to feel heavy, no tension in your facial muscles, relaxing the space between your brows,
no emotion on your face, removing your tongue from the roof of your mouth.
You can part your teeth, keep your lips sealed to relax your jaw totally
and just take a moment in this stillness, in this silence,
to spend some time as the watcher of this experience and your breath.
Deep breath in, fill up and open mouth exhale. It's completely normal to worry about the future.
As humans, we all do it. It's very easy to overanalyze the past and the actions that have
led us to where we are right now, good or bad, right or wrong. It's only natural that we begin to
overthink the choices that we've made and reconsider them. We are human after all
and that's totally normal but the key is to be mindful in not allowing it to consume us totally,
not allowing our thoughts to take over. We don't want it to take a hold of where we are right now
in this present moment and by over analyzing the past, the future brings no benefit to the
moment you have right now. This moment right here right now is the only thing you truly have
some control over. Everything else will completely unfold as it should so it's important to just find
gratitude in the blessings you've been given and the opportunities you've been given up until now.
We've all learned lessons and had experiences that have made us a better person, a better human,
a more experienced human but in order to find peace and contentment in where you are
and in who you are and in whose you also are, how you came to be here, you must free yourself of
those burdens of tomorrow so you can give yourself permission to focus on this present moment.
You have already been forgiven. Your failures and wrongdoings have already been forgiven and
washed away in the sea of forgetfulness. It's time to create a better version of yourself.
Inhale and open mouth exhale. Let's continue to let go of any tension checking back in with your
breath. Just allow yourself to become one with your breath. Find release in your exhales
and in your inhales feeling the oxygen fill up your lungs spreading to every cell of your body.
A natural healing. Allow yourself to become more and more relaxed, more at ease.
Inhale and a long exhale out. Let it go. Deep breath in and exhale. Let it go.
Bringing a sense of peace into your entire body. Coming into our centering thought now.
Our mantra of the day. I am exactly where I need to be in my life.
God knows exactly where I am right now. I am not alone. I am exactly where I need to be in my life.
God knows exactly where I am right now. I am not alone. If you find that your thoughts begin to
grace. Acknowledge them and then bring yourself back to your mantra, I am exactly where I
to bring your awareness back to your breath. Soft inhales and exhales. You can begin to
gently send your chin towards your right shoulder and your left shoulder. Maybe rolling
your neck gently here. And then bringing your palms to your forehead to remind yourself
that it all begins right here. And then bringing your palms to your lips to remind yourself
of positive words, positive affirmations, and saying positive things to others, and
even more importantly, to yourself. And then bringing your palms to your heart to remind
yourself that you are loved. You are forgiven. You have a purpose and a reason for your existence
here. Your mistakes do not define you by any means whatsoever. And you are fearfully
and wonderfully made. You may flutter your eyes open. Thank you friends for joining me
in our meditation today. I pray that you feel empowered. Know that you are blessed. And
you can laugh without fear of the future. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye!
