15 dates in 15 days.. DATE #1| Alyssa Mikesell

Okay, so I am having my camera at the most awkward angle ever because I am driving. Basically, today is one of the first days that I'm going on for the 15 dates in 15 days series that I'm gonna be doing. I am super excited. I'm just excited to meet a lot of new people and find out some super cheap and fun dates. So, today I'm going with this kid named Dallin. I've never met him before. His mom DMed my mom. And so, my mom and his mom kind of set it up. So, hopefully it is fun. I'm a little nervous, if I'm gonna be honest. And, by the way, I should probably say this. You guys will be voting on who you guys think I should go on the second date with. And then, whoever you guys pick will be the guy I go on the second date with. So, you guys gotta stay tuned. I'm gonna be posting on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for five weeks, basically, to finish, or to get all the 15 dates. And, I was gonna try to post every single day for 15 days in a row. But, the only problem with that is I'm going on dates and I would have to be filming. And so, it's just kind of hard. I mean, filming, going on dates, and editing, and trying to upload in all 15 days would be hard. So, that's why I'm doing it only three days a week. But, I'm so excited for you guys to come along on this journey with me. It should be super fun. So, you guys wanna get there. Good to meet you. I'm excited. I know. Okay, we're on our way. So fun. So exciting. Okay, so tell us your name and where you're from. I'm Dallin Johnson. I'm from Spanish Fork, Utah. What way do I go first, actually? Oh, yeah, good call. Are we going through Demona? Yeah. It's literally just on the freeway. I know, it's your first time down here. You've never been to Spanish Fork? What's the farthest out, besides St. George? Like, how far is it? Probably, like. Lehigh? Yeah, Lehigh, Lehigh, Provo. Oh, yeah. Well, I went to school and did cosmetology and barbering. So, I just got my cosmetology and barbering license. Hopefully, your flowers aren't gonna die in the car. They're so pretty. You killed it. Okay, so. He's changing right now. He is so sweet. Like, he brought me flowers. How cute is that? I know. Okay, and when he came to the car, or like to bring you the flowers, he gave you a hug. I know. And he's taller than you. I know. And did you notice why I didn't get this on film? He also has a good smile. Yeah, his teeth are perfect. His hair is cute. And his style is good. One thing I didn't catch on camera, but I wanted to say, is that Alyssa said that he was her type in the car. And I was like, I hope he caught that. Yeah, so I feel like he's a 10 out of 10. And he also brought me new waters. Oh, I know. And he brought a blanket, cause he's trying to sit while you guys eat, which hopefully that'll happen, but we'll play it by ear. He's like, I know it just started, but so far I'm gonna give him a 10 out of 10. And we can rate once he's gone. Yeah, but like we're here. There's like a bunch, like I feel like there's a pond over there. There's a pond over there. The pond's looking a little bit weird. But that was in the beginning. That was in the beginning. I feel like driving in. Yeah, you can see like there's tons of people here. This line of cars is like a mile. Parking lot. So yeah, there's like tons of ponds. So we're just gonna go to the one with the rope swing. I feel like this is going like... It's going way better than I expected. I know. I'm like if all the dates... Like when he first came out, I was like... It like... We were dying to meet him. I know, we like got in the car and we like silent screamed. So cute, he like had to go run to his car and we like just screamed. Okay, but let's see how cute you look though. Like his outfit was cute. So like obviously Alyssa's graphic tees, always. And then you brought like your water shoes, sandals. Okay, yeah. We're winning. I know, but like it only matters that you look good. Okay, and then you got your Stanley street bag with all your cute stuff, towel. Beach bag. So cute. Okay, he's still not back yet, but anyways. I know. So suffer... I wonder how far that bathroom is. I know, it's a... It's like a walk a mile. There's the parking lot, it's like at the end. Okay, so, so far do you give this a 10 out of 10? Yeah. Like, I feel like it's going way too good. I know. Like I was expecting way more awkwardness. Me too. I was like, oh my gosh, this is gonna be so awkward. I'm sad that he's gonna go on a mission. I know. Dang. He's only leaving in like 10 days. I know. Anyways, this date's gonna go good. And you're gonna go on a mission anyways, so, okay. So you found out about this date like yesterday at 6 p.m. I know it's still like the beginning of the date and we just got here, but like, what are you thinking so far? Like, is the date going okay? It's been awesome. Honestly, Alyssa's super chill to talk to. She's got like a super sweet like personality. Yeah, she's kind of shy, huh? Yeah, but I am too, so it's all right. Okay, yeah, you guys don't seem like you're like at all shy. Like you guys have like, I feel like it's, so I guess I was assuming it was gonna be like a little awkward, cause like blind dates can be like so scary. But like in the beginning, when you guys were talking in the car, I was like, this is going so good. Yeah, I think it's been going awesome. Yeah, no, so good. She's someone like, you can easily get along with her. Yeah. One thing I feel like, is she like cares about people's opinions and like is open to like talk about anything and like, and she's not judgmental at all. Yeah, so you're so spot on with like, you can really talk to her about anything. Yeah, she's sweet and she's drop-in gorgeous. Oh my gosh, I know. Oh my gosh, if I looked like her, my life would be so good. Okay, so you give it 10, 10 so far? Oh yeah. Oh good. Okay, I know. Okay, I can't wait to keep filming, but okay, good interview. Here we go. Okay, so here's the pond. Okay, we just got here. It's packed and super windy. Like it is so bad. Okay, and there's a rope right there. And then the platforms are over there. All right, have fun. Thanks. I don't know if I'm allowed to give my two cents, but this day is going so good. They're so cute. The water's freezing. I know and the wind does not help. And then you're going on one of these. Yikes. So Dallin is just waiting in line to go on the platform up there. And then he's going to rope swing into the water and he's not scared at all. And Alyssa is a tiny bit scared. She's over there watching. Okay, you think it's gonna be a good landing? Okay, there's Dallin. Good luck. He did so good. Okay, so Alyssa got a tiny bit scared. But overall, fun coming here. Oh yeah, definitely. People were good and bad. Perfect, okay, let's go. Let's go. You guys got the same thing, it's just hers. Kids size, that's so cute, fun. Yeah, I could tell that he was really sincere and how he, you could tell he was sincere and nice and that it was his true personality. Cause like no one can fake like being that nice and like, and like the flowers. And he was asking like to hold my bag or anything. Oh, and like, he would like touch your arm and be, and like, I know, I was like dying. I was melting in the back. I was like trying to hold my breath. It was so cute. Did you think the date was going to be like this good? No, I didn't at all. I was like, this is going to be so awkward. Okay, also, I don't know, this is kind of weird, but like when missionaries just come home. They're awkward. Yeah. I was like, oh my gosh, is he going to be awkward? He was like totally cool. I know, I thought the same thing. Cause like normally, like they, I know they're like, well, cause they're so busy, like doing missionary stuff. And then I had the same thought and I actually had the same thought too that he wasn't weird and that he was like, well, I mean, that's fine. Like, cause you're a little awkward when you get home, which is fine, but it was just surprising how he wasn't. And he was like pretty outgoing too. Yeah. Okay, so overall the date was super good and you guys are actually going to keep in touch. Yeah, yeah, so that's good. Okay, anything else? Okay, perfect. All right.
