Variety is the spice of life for 28-year-old Debbie from Dublin.
The spicier, the better.
You go on many dates?
Yeah.
I think I went on six dates in a week before.
Yeah.
Most of the guys I go for are nice guys.
And when they're too nice, I think I kind of step back a bit.
So what are you looking for in an apartment?
Who knows?
I don't know, I am quite shallow when it comes to guys,
so a very good-looking guy, I'd be all over that.
Debbie's date is 29-year-old physiotherapist Justin from Dublin.
A nice guy, but not too nice.
What is it like to get rejected?
Oh, my God, I'll tell my exes.
I tend to go for brunettes and dark features.
That tends to be my type.
Someone who's really fun, bubbly, they've got a lot of sort of energy.
Listen, I think she's spotted you, so let me bring you to the bar.
Appreciate it.
Because the tension is building.
Sounds great.
Go on, make her smile, OK?
All right, brother, good luck.
Hi, how are you?
Hi, nice to meet you.
Hi, Debbie.
Nice to meet you.
Yeah, pleasure's all mine.
How are you?
Not too bad.
You a bit nervous?
A little bit.
Yeah?
Yeah.
OK, so you're dope?
I am, yeah.
OK.
What about yourself?
Yeah, same as myself.
I suppose I want to have that tingle once he walks in where I'm nervous.
If I'm nervous, that means I like him.
Cheers, anyway, yeah.
Nice to meet you.
Mm-hm.
Ever hear of Minecraft?
Is it the game?
It's the game.
OK.
I make YouTube videos of Minecraft.
Do you?
Yeah.
I have a YouTube channel, it's called Cassie the Cat,
and I play Minecraft full-time.
How does that job even come around?
It's for kids.
So every day I make two videos a day and I edit, script it, write it.
What about you?
I'm a physio by trade.
Oh, wow.
So, yes, I run my own practice.
Oh, wow.
The problem is, once you're a physio and you have that mindset,
you can't turn off the physio eyes, so it's a bit of an affliction.
I'm just constantly assessing people, the way they walk, the way they sit,
and I just can't switch it off.
You're a physio.
Like, I go to physio, like, I need to go to a physio.
I know, I'm serious, like.
I think so, because a lot of people can always relate to an experience,
you know, going to physio.
Mm-hm.
And that was the reason why I became a physio myself.
I was in a car crash when I was a kid, I was only, like, ten,
and I had, like, chronic neck and back problems.
Yeah, it was quite bad in terms of just chronic pain, you know,
and you're a kid, you know, you just want to run around the playground
and have fun and kick ball, and, you know,
that can be quite sort of crippling in a sense.
I went to a few physios, some good, some bad.
I was like, you know what, I wouldn't mind being one of those good physios.
You know, did a course of treatment and really saw the benefits
and, you know, how it impacted me and improved my quality of life,
and then I thought, you know what, this is something I'd like to do.
You see when you're a little kid how it shapes who you become?
I know. It's crazy, huh?
Yeah.
So, yeah, yeah, so that's my story anyway.
Well, I just make videos for kids, really.
Yeah, that's great.
Yeah.
