is where we are who we are and it's just you know what enjoy this period enjoy this downtime and this bit of a limbo stage Norman is just about holding on for dear life back there can you see him family have gone home for um after hosting this year and so today I thought I would pick up the camera do a little Vlog as I didn't see you last week soon as though Wednesday was of course Christmas Day I thought I would also do a bit of a what I got for Christmas within today's video which I know you guys like I personally love watching them I know they're the sort of video that can be a bit not controversial but can come across Brad it's not like that at all for me I'm just nosy and I kind of like them as good gift ideas for next year so I start taking note for my gift guides from watching People's what I got for Christmas videos so that's how advanced I shop for Christmas or not shop but just take note of ideas so I'll show you everything that I got I'm just going to top up my water bottle one second I did actually go for run this morning and it's been a while so despite the Christmas period being very much indulging overindulging enjoying the Christmas food and downtime I did miss I well I want to get into the habit of doing sort of regular exercise into the new year as does everyone I mean it's feel like most people start the new year wanting to kick things off in the best way possible I thought in this period of crmo limbo I thought I would go for a little jog I took Barney he's now wet through and well rinsed him off gave him a bit of a shower yeah he's just in his bed drying I'm starting my day as always with ag1 which I did continue throughout the whole over the Fester period it's one thing that I didn't slack on during this time because it's just become start for the new year so um let me know any New Year's plans that you guys have I think for the first time ever I said it to Tom the other day we were going to host again this year and we just haven't spoken to anyone we haven't organized anything it's that close and I just said you know what time I actually really want to have a year of New Year's Eve no plans and maybe even go to bed before midnight and just just do nothing which I've always wanted to do and always kind of like ended up doing something for New Year's Eve and I never really enjoy it if I'm being brutally honest I think considering I like birthdays and Christmas and all of that kind of stuff and celebrations and holidays Halloween New Year's Eve is the one occasion that I really don't enjoy I think for me it's it's the fact you have to stay up till midnight and I'm like slowly like getting tired and if we're hosting there's that whole element although I have to say last year was quite a nice year posting but this year we're going away for a few nights for my birthday which is actually my first Christmas present that I'll talk to you about as I bring my pile over here to share with you I was absolutely spoiled this year but yeah for the first time I've decided to not do anything now if Tom wants to go to a friends to celebrate or if he wants to stay here with me then so be it and honestly wouldn't bother me either way really wouldn't and I know some people be like oh no you got to SP honestly I really couldn't care less um I just want to do nothing so that's all I said to Tom I said either host or do nothing I don't want to go anywhere and then because we've not planned anything and The Madness of Christmas is finished I just want to do nothing and like I said we are going away for a few nights in January cuz it is also my birthday we Tom has booked us as one of our or one of my presents a stay in an unplugged cabin where essentially the concept is it's bit of a dig digital detox cabin in the middle of nowhere we can take baring as well so it's just going to be very chilled wholesome bit of cooking a bit of walk Countryside walks um some board games like very chill just the two of us now we are very screen heavy people so it is quite nice to almost be forced to switch off I might just Vlog a little bit just to give you a taster of it and then because we're there for three to four days three nights four days we have it um I do think I'll be able to get a bit of Vlog footage for you show you what it's like show you a couple of things that we get up to but also have a time to just switch off as well cuz even if it's what 15 30 minute Vlog out of 4 days that's only a small amount of vlogging so yeah I will maybe show you if you guys want to see that um let me know but then will have a bit of a switch off whilst we're there and I think Tom will do the same he'll probably take his work stuff but also make a conscious effort to switch off so that's very exciting we have that to look forward to my main gift from my parents I probably won't say too much about who got me what but I will just say this was from my parents this I'm so grateful for and it is the Lego Harry Potter Castle I'm so excited about this I kind of want to get started within this CRI limbo so I might even maybe even we if we take a couple of the first bags with us to the unplugged cabin or will that just be a bit chaotic trying to take Lego and not break it I'm not sure but anyway whenever I get round to building this I'm very much looking forward to it you guys know I liked the Home Alone house which is just over there I can see it and they will go away in storage but I quite like them as Christmas decor I'm not sure how big this is going to be but this box was very much the same size as the Home Alone Box and the Home Alone house is like that so it's big but it's not taking up the entire dining table this one I don't know how big it's going to be but like I said the box is the same size anyway let's crack on I also got this dford hamper which is so nice I've had a little sneak peek inside already but I will show you guys um what is in here so this is the burgot home hamper I think it's called so in here you've got a Bergamot hand wash got hand lotion so hand wash and hand lotion we have a hold on let me just pop it down here it's bit easier to hold a candle one of their candles I love the dford candles a pretty ginormous if I can get it out Bergamot diffuser what's in this box is it a scratch card yeah okay it's a winning scratch card we had about in total we had about 20 worth of winning so couple of us won um I also got this Tom's mom got this oh so nice this beautiful like Stone frame and she also printed off a couple of photos that we can decide which photo we want in there I do love this photo this is from my brother's wedding Tom was in the Philippines on a work trip and stopped by at Abu Dhabi and Dubai and this was genius from him I have no idea where he's even heard of this or the fact that he got it but he got the viral Dubai chocolate the official duai chocolate and brought it home with me this is the one that I've mainly seen the pistachio one um duai chocolate with canafa and pistachio this one is with the hazelnuts I'm so excited to try this maybe we should do a little jump on the trend and do a little Tik Tok taste test of this and but yeah that was I couldn't believe he thought about that um I also got this dford candle this is in their new or one of their latest scent log fire it's very smoky very Smokey and it is I thought it would be very similar to Fireside oh it's good it's almost slightly sweeter I also got some cozy wintry e Ms for all of our little winter walks so got a hotel cha festive of wreath I also got love my Jigs sace and I got this Harry Potter one which has just loads of frames of all the different characters so I'm going to enjoy doing that do we do jigsaw or Lego first that's the question I also got this okay there's quite a heavy game theme this year people have twigged on for the fact that I love a game and I love a puzzle a jigsaw all of that so we've got this little wooden soku which would look lovely out on our bookcase over there where we have some wooden games oh mom and dad went to America throughout um what was it September and this is on my list of things to bring back whenever they go these Crest whitening strips are Fab I don't use them that often cuz I feel like for me with my teeth I just kind of like top up but I've used these for years and years and years so yeah they brought me one of those back from America I don't think you can get them in England annoyingly we also got a couple of decorations I feel like it's a bit of a tradition to get a fun novelty decoration like this from my mom and dad every year so this will be added to this tree but next year cuz we're about to take those decorations down now anyway oh this this is exciting I've got the oil from the white company in the new scent Clementina Juniper I'd never smelt this before so it was the first time giving it a whiff and I think it's really nice my mom wasn't so sure when she first sniffed it she was like it's not my favorite but I really like it it's very citrusy very zesty which kind of makes sense to also maybe even burn in like spring summertime I think it's not necessarily that festive I also got my faves a brand new pair of Lululemon leggings these are the I mean they do loads of different varieties anything of these that I can see online I will link below and these ones especially I will cuz I get quite a lot of questions about which style of Lululemon leggings that I love got some lettuce for Santa festive M&S cookies in here I love my little Easy Bakes and this is like a bottle bake from the bottle baking bottle company is it from the baking bottle bottle baking company or is it just M&S that have like copied it I think it is just M&S but anyway it's their calling the caterpillar brownie baking kit so we maybe do that within a vlog one day love molten Brown especially at Christmas and this one is there we go so festive and beautiful it's got like little bits of gold in it it's called The mesmerizing oud Accord and gold fine liquid hand wash now I got one of these for my dad and I was kind of of like very torn to keeping it myself and I'm so glad I didn't because I got my very own one this is my um brother and his wife look got me that that smells Divine I've also got oh my mom saw this in a in a shop and she said it's very fitting with it being a camera but it's like a brass ornament that you can just have stacked up on like a shelf on a coffee table book um in an office if I had like a little office space and then we also got Tom and I this beautiful apparently Tom's sister loves this and she told us that we would love it and I love a diffuser anyway but this is the Mason Burger Paris lamp it's like a kind of fragrance diffuser home fragrance diffuser oh and then I was very surprised to find some skims slippers in here this was very exciting and these look so incredibly cozy oh how nice do they look they are like a Bor kind of slipon shoe slipper love those so so much and first ever thing that I've owned from skims let me know what if you've tried skims yourself and what you think of it I did also get something else from skims which I'll show you so yeah I was absolutely spoiled this is like something that I've been saving wanting to wear in this crbo limbo but saving it for this video so it's these pair of skims trousers they're kind of like a lounge pajama pant in a medium in this beautiful kind of like simple beige oatmeal color quite straight leg but these I think will be lovely with just a like basic white tea again for just around the house chilling comfy and it does feel lovely skims is a bit of a luxury I also got a mini molten Brown now this was actually from me to me cuz this was in my table gift bag I feel like cuz I did everyone table gifts I thought I can't not include myself so the gifts that I included for myself was a little mini Mt br ball um and then I also put in my cracker the little grater cuz I thought that would be perfect for grating chocolate on top of a hot chocolate like a bit of a stocking I got some new kitchen B Clips in the neutral colors of course um and also in my stocking I got these guys you know how much I love the M&S chocolate coated custard creams and these are the Home Bargains ones and I kid you not they're exactly the same like literally I also got in here some coconut mushroom I've actually never tried those before this which I love this boff chocolate and I also got this little slab of Hotel chocola peanut butter flavor chocolate I got a Terry's chocolate orange loads of chocolates and then I got a mug with some chocolate hlex and how cute is this charity mug it's got a in fact it's very fitting with this year's theme that I've gone for with lots of like teddy bears Ralph Len Vibes this is from nspcc um and yeah a cute little Charity ceramic Christmas M got the traitors card game which we didn't actually play on Christmas we ended up playing the 1% club which is good fun but um yeah we should have maybe given this a go I almost feel like I've got the idea of like playing loads of games on Christmas day but we're that busy with sorting the food preparing the table cleaning away then getting out cheeseboards then pupping on a movie to just chill out for 5 minutes that we don't end up playing loads of games or we didn't this year anyway um this is another game that I got this is a hilarious game about trying to draw the things from memory and failing horribly drawing from memory so again we need to almost have a a party night like a family party night where we just get takeaway so not having to think about food and cleaning up and we can just play games I might have to book that in and get the family back over for that and then Tom also bought me this and this is more of like a indiv this is I just love that he thought of this you know how much love the 1% club now this is one that I can actually do myself cuz it's the official quiz book that I can just do by myself you know I don't need a team of people I can just jot away in fact that might be coming with me to the unplugged cabin and that is everything that I got I did um have this to one side which was actually from Brands this little set there's only a couple of things in here but I thought I would show you anyway for a couple of brands that sent me things that ared literally on Christmas Eve firstly from Moroccan oil this uh set which comes in a beautiful bag like really nice that could even be like a little clutch bag couldn't it rather than just a wash bag in here you have the Friz control shampoo and conditioner the Moroccan oil treatment which is just the Classic and my favorite thing ever and yeah like I said it comes in a beautiful bag oh there's also a Friz Shield spray and then also from Moroccan oil I got the um this which is a fragrance Mist for hair I've had this before and it does smell lovely I really like it for um sort of if you were to go on holiday and take it on holiday with you for like in an evening to Spritz that on your hair um oh another thing that a friend bought me which I forgot to mention a winter candle from the white company an absolute classic and then this is also in the stocking which I think was from rituals so let's see oh cute oh we should have used these crackers we can always use them next year includes six crackers cracker snaps and cracker gift from ritual so I'm assuming there'll actually be rituals gifts in there obviously so that's gorgeous wow and how pretty as well like a nice burgundy red oh I'm sad I didn't see these Before Christmas now although we did I did do cracks already could have maybe um do crackers on like Christmas Eve as well um oh that is one thing that we have learned our dogs py and both Riley his cousin my brother and his wife's dog they absolutely hate crackers they both went well Riley's a little dog and he started shaking Barney sprinted into the front room and was like looking on and like worried and like tail like in between his legs so who knew they absolutely hate crackers it's all it might be obviously the loud noise but it might be the smell of them as well cuz obviously when the cracker cracks it's like a a little mini explosive isn't it so anyway bless them but yeah that is everything that I got for
