hello YouTube Welcome Back The Long
anticipated 2025 Nissan Morano has
arrived we got our hands on it to test
drive and go through all the new changes
and show you around this vehicle to help
you determine if you should buy this or
a different SUV my name is Christopher
this is cars unlocked let's get to
it let's talk about the engine changes
so there's been a handful of engine
changes this one now has a 2 L 4
cylinder turbocharge engine so they went
away from the 3.5 V6 that has been in
the Morano for a long time now you get a
2 L turbo you guys commented on the last
video that the turbo is a mistake so let
us know what you guys think but it now
has 241 horsepower and
260 lb fet of torque good news though
for all you people in the comments
there's no CVT anymore it is a 9speed
automatic transmission so it's rated at
about 10.2 L per every 100 km combined
between the city and the highway that's
about 23 MPG so not too bad fuel economy
comment what you guys think about the
power plan so right out of the gate the
one thing I noticed is the car is a lot
quieter than the previous model from the
the engine noise to the cabin noise it's
super quiet Let's test out this oh the
turbo actually punches really well a lot
of power coming from the turbo I did
like the power out of the other ones but
this one's got a little bit more o and a
little bit more torque when you take off
it does growl like a turbo but there's a
little very little engine noise and
sound this specific one's going to come
with the upgraded sound system being the
Platinum mod
you do get the Bose audio sound
[Music]
system does sound phenomenal and it's
going to come with the Serius XM or you
can stream your music but overall this
is a super comfortable drive Nissan did
very well you have the memory
positioning for the seats you have your
wireless charging pad down below and you
have the heads up display which is um
new to the Morano two things that this
car that they've added for technology is
they've added the propilot assist and
they've added the heads up display now
they didn't add the propilot assist
2.1 it's just the older propilot assist
so it will keep you centered in the lane
and a safe distance from the car in
front of you and you do have to keep
your hands on the wheel we did a demo of
the one in the Rogue where you could
really drive like handsfree this is
still kind of that older version so I'd
like to see this in the Morano I would
feel if a plot Plum Rogue has it a
platinum Morano should have it as well
now the cool thing is is they've kind of
added this kind of glassy style interior
here and this was really blue which
looks great with the blue you can see we
got the pink ambient lighting going on
but I definitely like the trim kind of
styling a nice little Chrome accents all
throughout with the black and this
two-tone interior tons of soft surfaces
we have a universal garage door in our
review mirror here so you can add up to
three garage doors so you don't have to
bring around that clunky uh gray remote
overall is this better than the toota
Crown it's very hard to say we're going
to be doing a comparison for you guys
between this and the old model but I
want you guys to comment like how does
this compare to the previous generation
definitely a lot more Tech like that's
one thing that the other Morano lacked
there wasn't a lot of new technology in
it I'm happy to see that they brought
this to the new age but it's Make It or
Break It Here for Nissan so if you guys
are a fan of these put your comments
below I know there's a lot of Morano
owners who subscribe to my channel and
thank you so much we appreciate you guys
following us throughout the years looks
like there's three different Drive modes
we got the sport the standard and the
Eco I don't see the snow mode like
what's in the Nissan Rogues so you don't
really need those snow modes with the
all-wheel drive it's going to drive
great one day when it snows a lot we'll
take this thing out in the snow and do a
nice little snow test but overall yeah
she goes when you step on it like you
can feel it it throws you back a little
bit a lot of frontend torque that's kind
of what you're looking for in an SUV
like this steering is nice and light and
smooth it really takes Corners nice
can't complain so again if you guys are
interested in maybe test driving if
you're in the Niagara area we are in
Niagara Ontario St Katherine's Nissan my
information is in the description below
if you guys want to book a test drive or
