If you are a college student and watch career related videos on YouTube,
then it's not a big deal that you feel that we have no choice other than coding.
There is no option.
Everywhere it seems that coding dreams are being sold.
I have also made a lot of videos related to coding on my channel.
But it is not at all necessary that everyone's interest is in coding.
To tell you the truth and you will also relate that a lot of students are coding only because of peer pressure.
They have no interest in coding.
Still they are coding.
Maybe a little hard work will get you a job somewhere.
But when there is no interest in coding, then how will you excel in this field?
When I was in the 3rd and 4th year of engineering and I started making videos on YouTube,
I also realized that maybe my touch with coding is over now.
And now I don't have much interest in coding.
And I also felt that maybe I won't be able to do a 9 to 5 coding job.
I will have to look for some other option for myself.
Any career option with which my communication skills improve and I can make better videos.
And maybe many of you will also have such a story.
Many of you will also not like coding.
And through today's video, I am going to tell you some non-tech high-paying career options.
This video may be a little long.
This is the first time I am saying in my videos that maybe you can watch this video in 1.5x.
I have given timestamps in the description to make your experience better.
And at the end of this video, you will also know about my role.
How I cracked a management role after doing VTech.
And you will also get related information in this video.
Before starting the video, I want to tell you that our goal is to complete 200 subscribers as soon as possible.
And it took a lot of hard work and research to make this video.
So be sure to subscribe to our channel before watching the video.
And now let's start the video.
The first role is Product Managers.
This is one of my favorite profiles.
That's why I have kept it at number 1.
Product managers can also be called mini CEOs of product features.
The responsibility of a product manager is to collaborate with the design team, tech team, marketing team,
and all the teams to finalize the product and take it to the launch.
This role is very dynamic.
You have to do all the work from scratch.
You have to handle all the releases of your product.
Whether the tech team worked or not, what the design team did,
which new features to bring in the product, which features are not needed.
All these responsibilities are on you.
Startup culture is increasing in India.
And the requirements for such roles are also increasing.
Even many of my friends are working as product managers.
Now let's talk about the skills related to this role.
You have to keep a bird's eye view on the project.
You have to analyze the problems at a 360 degree level.
Good communication skills, obviously, because you have to talk to all the stakeholders and get all the work done.
You should know a little about every field.
Design, tech, marketing, everything.
Even about business.
Problem solving attitude is a must.
If I give you bonus tips, you can put it in your resume.
If you have participated in a fest, you can put that.
If you have led a society, you can also put that.
So that you can see your leadership skills.
Put all the work you have done in technology in the brief.
If you have made a website related to design, put that too.
If you were managing your YouTube channel, put that too.
So all these things are going to help you.
And maybe you will be asked about case studies in their interviews.
So prepare that too.
Now if we talk about its average salary, it is around 17 LPs.
Which is too much.
Second is digital marketer.
Let's suppose your product is ready and wants to reach customers.
So the people who reach that product to the customers are digital marketers.
Promoting your products through digital medium is simply digital marketing.
In today's time, the marketing budget of all the companies is increasing a lot.
Companies are spending a lot of money to market their products.
You must have understood all this by looking at the ads of different brands.
Definitely there is a lot of scope in this career option.
You can enter into social media marketing, content marketing, search engine optimization.
And social media ads like Google ads, Instagram ads, Facebook ads.
So if I talk about skills, then this is a very dynamic and ever-changing career option.
You will have to keep upskilling in this.
New things will come, you will have to learn new things.
Only then you will grow in this field.
You should have basic marketing skills, design skills, creative and analytical skills.
Knowledge about important tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console,
WordPress, Canva.
And basic knowledge should be of all the social media platforms.
Now its bonus point will be that if you become a good digital marketer.
Then you can start your YouTube channel from scratch.
You can do its marketing.
If you have a family business, you can grow it by taking it online.
By applying your digital marketing experience.
You can do freelancing, you can even start your own agency.
So this is a very strong skill, everyone should know it.
And it has unlimited opportunities.
The videos that I make on YouTube, we use a lot of digital marketing in it.
And because of this, I can reach you.
If you like remote work, then this profile can be really very suitable for you.
Its salary varies a lot on your skills.
Some companies pay very less, some companies pay a lot.
If you bring very good results for a company, it will give you a lot of money in return.
And its average salary number is 6.5 LPA.
If you work on your skills and make your expertise in digital marketing.
Then your salary can be double or triple easily.
And to enhance your digital marketing skills, I will tell you about a very good resource.
Which is Online MBA in Digital Marketing by College Vidya.

Third is UI UX Designer.
This is my personal favourite.
If you all know me, I did Computer Science and Design from IIIT Delhi.
So I like the design part a lot.
I have a lot of friends who are working in UI UX in big companies.
I want to share my personal experience with you.
Let's start with some examples.
You must have seen government websites.
Their design is so bad.
Because there is no design thinking in it.
But all the new apps you use,
Swiggy, Flipkart, Zomato,
All the new applications you are using,
They have everything with a lot of thought.
Where will the button be placed?
What colour will the button be?
Everything comes under design.
UI UX designers basically see how your app looks visually.
And not only visually,
When the user interacts with it,
What will be his experience?
UI UX designers work to enhance that experience.
If I talk about your skills,
Basic design principles like typography,
Colour palette,
Composition etc.
You should know all this.
You should also know a lot of softwares like
Figma, Adobe X, Sketch.
You should have a user-centric mindset,
Empathy, creative thinking,
And research skills.
I will give you a bonus point that
Portfolio is a must in this.
You should make a website.
Obviously, the design of the website should be very good.
You can showcase your projects in that website.
I will recommend you to do internships.
Even if you are getting less money,
Still, you should intern with good companies or
With such companies who are working a lot on UI UX.
Reading UX case studies regularly is also a must.
You can also use platforms like Medium
To showcase your portfolio.
The average salary I got online was 5.4 LPA.
But this is very less.
If you become a good UI UX designer,
Your salary is going to be very good.
You don't worry about it at all.
One thing I want to tell you,
The averages you get online are very misleading.
If you google the average salary of software developers,
You will only see 4.5-2.5 LPA.
Mainly, it depends on your skills.
If you are interested in a field,
You will go very far in it and
You will earn a lot of money.
Fourth is Investment Banking.
The career options I have covered so far,
You can join them after Bachelors.
But for this career,
You will need a Higher Studies degree.
Like MBA in Finance.
If you are planning for Higher Studies,
Investment Banking is a very good option for you.
Chetan Bhagat was an Investment Banker.
I was watching a video of him.
In which he told how much money he was earning at that time.
And all his colleagues were also earning a lot of money in investment banking.
And how much money is there in this field.
He told that because of him,
A firm made a lot of profit.
And then he got a bonus.
And that bonus was very high.
And investment bankers keep getting bonuses like this.
If you are interested in Mathematics,
Finance,
Then Investment Banking is for you.
Their work involves assisting corporations,
Governments,
And other entities in raising capital,
Funding,
Acquisitions,
And providing financial advisors.
You can join them by pursuing CA, CFA, and MBA in Finance.
You need very good skills for this.
You should have an analytical mind.
You should have a lot of interest in Finance.
You should have exceptional communication and networking skills.
And this job is more hectic than a normal job.
Because it involves a lot of money.
That's why you should be very serious for this job.
His average salary is 12 LPA.
But it can be very high.
You can easily earn crores in this.
Fifth is Data Analyst.
If you love playing around with numbers,
And Mathematics is your favorite subject,
Then career as a Data Analyst is a great choice for you.
I am working in Accenture.
In my previous project,
I was working as a Data Analyst.
In that, I was working on Power BI,
Which is a data visualization software.
If you want to enter this field,
You should have a proficiency in data visualization softwares like Power BI and Tableau.
Today, there is no shortage of data.
All companies have a lot of data.
But a Data Analyst's job is to extract meaningful insights from that data.
A company has a lot of data.
Using that raw data,
Some meaningful insights were extracted.
Softwares like Power BI were used.
Some visualizations were done.
So that the rest of the people,
The leadership,
They don't have to delve into the data.
They just have to look at the Power BI reports and dashboards.
And they get to know all the data.
What is the flow?
Where is the company going?
Something like this.
Skills required.
I have told you about Power BI and Tableau.
You should know some programming languages.
You should know SQL,
Python,
And R.
You should have skills like Problem Solving and Critical Thinking.
The bonus is that
At this time,
The demand for a Data Analyst is very high.
You must have seen a lot of openings for them.
In all the companies.
There are a lot of openings.
If you do all the things that I have told you.
Then you can definitely enter it.
Its average salary is 6 LPA.
But as I said,
You can earn a lot.
If you are in a good company.
If you are simple and skillful.
Sixth is Growth Hacker.
This is a new career option.
While researching this video,
I also found out about it.
If you are very innovative,
Entrepreneurial,
And highly creative personality.
Then Growth Hacking is for you.
If I tell you the basic work of Growth Hackers.
You have to make your company,
Your product,
Viral.
No matter how.
Whether you use memes.
Use your brain.
Bring a technique.
So that people get to know about your product.
Or you made your product viral through social media.
So that will be Growth Hacking.
And now you can think.
If you make a company's product viral.
And its sales are increasing organically.
So obviously,
How much money will you get?
You will get to see Growth Hacking jobs.
Mostly in foreign companies.
That's why you can see.
International opportunities on LinkedIn.
Of Growth Hacking.
I have some numbers here.
What is the average salary of a Growth Hacker?
They earn $100,000 a year easily.
And if you are a good Growth Hacker.
If you have some experience.
Then you can earn $200,000.
If we talk about India.
The data I got online.
So 7 LPA.
You get to see its average salary.
If you become a good Growth Hacker.
And it's a brand new opportunity.
You will get to see very few roles and openings.
But still if you search.
You will definitely get it.
What is the need for skills?
You have to make viral content.
Such a compelling content.
That people will be crazy about your product.
Your role will revolve around.
Technology, Marketing and Analytics.
You should know how to do competitive analysis.
And you should know about trends.
Bonus point is.
Very lucrative international opportunities.
You get to see in this field.
Seventh is Management Consultancy.
So I am a Management Consultant.
I am an Associate Management Consultant.
After B.Tech.
My job was in Consulting.
In Accenture.
I am currently working at Accenture.
As an Associate Strategy Consultant.
Now I will tell you about Consulting.
First of all.
I had made a video some time ago.
That what do I do as a Consultant.
And what do Consultants do?
Because I was getting a lot of doubts.
That what is your actual job?
So Consulting is a job.
Whose average package.
Even if you Google.
Its average package is 21 LPA+.
Average package.
If you do MBA from a good college.
And go to a Consulting firm.
Then your salary is going to be next level.
So Consulting is a client facing job.
In which you are working on client's problems.
You provide solutions to clients.
In Consulting.
Your learning curve always goes up.
Because you work on one project.
With a client.
Then you work on another project.
With another client.
In the same way.
You get a lot of knowledge about the industry.
Consultants are also known for their time management skills.
Because they are in a client facing job.
So they have to work on deadlines.
I have been working in Accenture for a year.
Now I am at the Associate level.
If you do MBA and enter Consulting.
Then you become a Direct Analyst or a Consultant.
Accenture came in my college.
For a Consulting role.
And in very few colleges.
You see companies coming for Consulting.
So don't even think.
That in your college.
Someone will definitely come for Consulting.
In IITs.
Bain comes.
McKenzie comes.
Accenture comes.
All the top Consulting firms.
They come to hire students for Consulting.
Obviously.
Consulting is a very high paying option.
And you can enter Consulting.
I am going to make a video.
After this video.
There will be a video.
In which I will explain my role very well.
And I will tell you in detail.
How can you enter the role.
How can you apply.
I will try.
If I could give a referral.
To some of you students.
So I will definitely try that too.
So these were all.
Non-tech.
High paying career options.
So it's not like.
That only coding is an option.
It's not like that at all.
There are a lot of options.
I haven't even talked about business options yet.
You can also become a freelancer.
You can start your own agency.
You can enter any other different field.
It's not necessary.
It's just coding.
I have told you some career options.
I hope you liked this video.
Brother.
A lot of research has been done in making this video.
So definitely.
Like this video.
And if you haven't subscribed yet.
Then do it.
Our goal is.
200k subscribers.
So definitely subscribe.
And I will meet you.
In some other special video.
