KAGAN, the next Turkish Bow by Genok Sent over by Ugur at asianbows.com
This one seems a little shorter and this one has small string bridges compared to the others which are non contact. Reaching 30” full draw today was a bit hard, but I guess possible. Yet the bow draws very nice and is very accurate. But due to the string bridge, even with almost 11gpp arrows you will still feel a little kick in the hand. But overall a great and forgiving little shooter!

Morning everybody. As you see it's getting a little wintry here. The last bow I got from
Ugur from asiabows.com from Genoc the Kagan and it's a 36 pound this time. Another Turkish bow.
That's it. Then I'm finished and I will do a comparison of all of them I got from Ugur.
That's a nice one too. Look at you. Very bright. You get a string holder. 36 pounds.
Let's see. I think a little smaller. Almost the same. That's a very bright one. I think it's
another 420 euros or something but we checked just on the website. So here we have now a slight
different construction here. So we don't have this groove but we have a little string part here.
Nice too. So let's see. Measurements and everything when I find them I put them here
because I didn't find anything on the website yet and if not shall be okay. Fine. Things I do.
Where is the front? Here is the front. Just so we know. Again a very long end on the tip there
for I don't know which reason. And it looks good and we have 48 and three quarters. I give it 49
inches from nock to nock. So it's nice and short and uh max draw is I think 30. So they're all in
the same ballpark with the max draw with the weight and with the price. Just slightly different
variations. So you can choose even if it's cold today. It just works fine. Look at you.
It's a nice one too. Brace height is I tell you okay fine. I tell you the brace height.
Same in a good mood today. Joking obviously. Seven and three quarters should be fine. So
in this direction nothing wobbly. In this direction this bow is good stiff. So I like that.
So but of course the string is on the string pads and it stops from wobbling. Another whatever
270-300 grams or something. Very very lightweight. Oh look at you. There is directly oomph in it.
So this one goes a little maybe because it's cold today but this one is closing a little
earlier. So 28 it's already and then yeah 29. So this one is a little harder to get to 30.
But I guess it's still fine. I shoot first some heavier longer arrows.
The Taurus. Oh it's a bad name nowadays in Germany.
And I shoot the leather protector from Mark Roberts again. So until oh nice oh even with
these arrows. I saw it's a 36 pounder today. Okay fine. So we are roughly then at 140 pounds with
I didn't write it on it. 400, 600, 360. So we are at
migraine or something. Well you feel it already a little in the hand.
So this bow is biting a bit in the hand.
But it's a precision tool. Handle again not so slippery as the other one. Size-wise is fine.
So I would not go more lightweight then. There are 424 grain. Now I know it because on one I wrote
it. So we are here at 10 grain and you feel it already. So this bow at least for now.
Look at this. See that down there? It's a group of three and one extra because I didn't pay
attention. But precise machine this one. Nice kicks a little but nice. Maybe because it's a
little cold today and the bow is a little you know not warmed up yet. Let's see.
But look at you. Oh that was a bad shot. I need to make a bit cutter.
It's not working anymore.
Nice huh? Nice sound to it. Nice one too.
So 28 inches I would give it nicely. 29 it gets a little stiff and 30 is really
wishful thinking. But here and you hear it really so it's loud.
So don't go too lightweight. 9 grain most probably minimum I would say.
But even if I have a sloppy release. What's wrong with me here?
Not used to hook deep anymore. With all the shallow hook. But once you do a little you know
cutter and stuff this bow is nice. It kicks a little so but they are already relatively thin
so you can't get much more out of this. So you just need to shoot a little heavier arrows with
this one. But if you shoot wood arrows or something then most probably they are heavy
enough anyway. So it's not so bad. I would say 40 pounds and 424 grain arrows. So we are good.
173. Feels like it can do a little more. Oh 163. Jesus.
177. So this is with but more than 10 grain. Let's shoot just as a comparison.
A little more light one. This is 260 something.
Yeah then you had 193 but you feel it in your hands. Then it kicks.
But if you don't mind that or you shoot heavy arrows anyway
it's precise where you point the arrows go. So this is really a gives you nice feedback.
This is just nice. So this one is very precise. I like that.
And does everything. Cutter and whatever you want to do with this one. Just nice. Today it's
a little cold. So maybe because of the because it's a little cold he is a little rough. It's a
fun shooter. It's very precise. So you shoot groups out of with your first arrows like nothing where
your point arrow goes. It's not very complicated this bow. So it doesn't have a learning curve.
You just shoot. The only thing you need a little heavy arrows as I wished. So with 8 grain or
something it's just a little too harsh. In the hand even with 10 grain you still feel it a bit.
But in this direction this bow is torque resistant enough.
Does everything. Doesn't wiggle wobble. Is short. Very short. 30 inches.
A good 29 I would say. Fun shooter. It's nice. It's very nice. So the build quality of this
bow is really nice. There's nothing to complain. They are just nice made. Everything on this bow
is just nice. Color wise it's maybe a little yeah. But it's you know. Look at this. Handle is
nice. The strop shape again. Transitions are relatively short. It's a short bow. What can
you do until here? And the sears end kind of like here. So you have from here to here bending
section. But it's fine. So this bow is just a nice bow. Does the job. I would most probably still do
a leather wrap around the handle to get a little rid of this. Kicks a little. But of course you have
compared to the others a little string pad here. So this gives you a little kick.
The others non-contact. You don't feel that much and that's already the difference. So I'm looking
forward to do the comparison of these three ones. And which one is for whom. They're all for me
because they're all fun to shoot. I like them. So thank you very much Ugo for sending them to me.
Thank you Kinob for making these nice bows. Really nice. Price wise 420 something. But you check on
the website from asianbows.com. There you can get them. Ugo can always tell you and help you and
tell you what you need to know. So the bow is still straight. That's fine. But it's still at the ends.
So yeah at the end it's a little wibble wobble. But it's fine. So thank you very much Ugo. And
that's all I have for you today. It's cold. I'm going home. Thank you all for watching and catch you in the next one.
