Hidden in the rugged hills, this old mine site hidden in the Nevada Mountains reveals a glimpse into the mining past. Unbelievable Artefacts, remnants of cabins and rusted equipment still echo with the grit of its bygone era. Crumbling walls and faint traces of tunnels are all that remain, guarding the tales of miners who once carved their fortunes from the unforgiving landscape.

would appear we're in the uh middle of a
Minefield oh YK well I'm not going in
there do you know what this is and that
means the world to me well it
should oh my this is really
neat well I must admit this is a really
amazing find
so it would appear we're in the uh the
middle of a
Minefield yeah there's
four but they're all
collapsed so you
got this one
here that's
collapsed this one actually leads into
that one I think
right you've got wood there's another
one up there I want to take a look at
and I think there's another one over
there they're all going to be collapsed
yeah there's another one here they're
all fenced off but all totally I mean
you might be able to dig that out to get
in if you wanted to but if it's
collapsed behind it too you're not going
to get very far
no okay appears like that might go down
away you got that one another one right
next
door and then there's another one I
think there is just one more over there
but I'm not I don't want to get over
is too too slidy yeah that you could
slip and and Take a Tumble but those
look crazy I guess we
could do a stone
test it doesn't go down very far anyway
I don't think it does so maybe they were
just uh test pits possibly at some point
cuz there is not a lot I mean here's the
waste rock that's come out there's not a
lot
considering how many halls there are
over here well this was predominantly a
silver mine and lead and it dates back
to around 1931 from what I've
[Music]
read and of course no trip would be
complete without a trip to the
L see what this one looks like
well I wouldn't want to stand on there
that floor looks like it's just going to
go
yep single
catar oh
y that would that would have been a nice
trailer in its day when it was new and
that's the bathroom in the
corner yeah fridge cooker
sink double bed and a andace this table
would have also been a bed as
well huh ow someone just bit
me so first
one a neat little
chair
kitchen you got hot water heater hot
water heater your uh sink table top the
counter Top's
missing stove over there bench workbench
to eat prepare food so I would say this
was kind of like the mess hall yeah
looks like there's a mini fridge
here can't see any dates anywhere oh
March
1977 calendar wow it's funny how they
always end up being put in
March it's a good month I would agree
month I was born any the other thing
that is
cool oh window glass apart from that one
yeah that one's just all screen that
one's naturally broken and nothing here
but I said I think that's
natural huh
okay second
cabin all
right I think I might know what this one
is you reckon yeah I think it's the
kitchen very uh cozy so then again this
would have been bunk house I was going
to say also Mom and Pop operation only
got three beds in here puss
L but then if it was a m and part
operation wouldn't there be
a like a like we saw the other day where
you've actually got a house and you've
got the bedroom and the kitchen Allin
one rather than it being totally
separate this is normally they're
separate normally when they're actually
employing
workers
huh well I'm not going in there
so it's just a little workshop yep yeah
there's no real Point stuff's all kind
of thrown all over the place yeah just
Workshop you can see by the all the
miscellaneous things lying
around
okay so looks like there's just one more
building to look
at what's really neat about this is
again the guy wires are still in place
as well has a cable for the
Hoist see it's not the biggest head
frame we've seen but it's in good
condition though it is let me see if I
can actually get in the middle
here take a look
down yeah I can't see the bottom but
there's a lot of uh wood falling in from
here do a stone test
it'll probably get caught up on a bunch
of stuff there's tons of wood that's
broken right here at the front we got
that huge vent pipe going down now that
would be for water uh air wouldn't it
yeah and this is still attached the H
oh
my this is really neat this is look how
intact you know I've never I've never
seen one of these what is it do you know
what this is
this is this a flathead 6 this is a
flathead 6 diamond
engine and that means the world to
me well it should I mean I don't know
how you're not in awe right
now but seriously everything this this
whole building all the Machinery in here
this is actually I've never seen
anything like this before to be quite
honest I I've never seen
these so it yeah so these are the clocks
so you can tell time you got your hours
and your half hours and 15 minutes and
30 you got out of gear and up in gear
I'm just kidding I know I knew that
wasn't a clock I knew you were just
being a ding
bat but it is neat and start gas right
you got your gas your choke so just like
a car right exactly so set up then
here's your brake lever your I think
it's great that it's just all intact oh
say yeah all all joking aside seriously
this being this this is why we say we
love actually seeing things intact like
this you know it gives you a better idea
of how operations ran I mean the piping
the wiring the light bulb is still
intact all the knob and tube wiring
through here it's just these the belts
are still in place
like a
generator I was going to close the door
to get better light but and what else oh
there's more around the corner in
here
wow more belts in
place another engine what is
this
V8 well don't ask me I don't know
anything about engines and now down here
these are all all um samples as well
aren't they right sample bags yeah see
they've
got yeah well they don't put the date on
them we've we know that yeah the numbers
are just where they've pulled it from I
mean here yeah another
generator over
here this is just
so so I wonder how old these as I said
the the mine dates back from
1931 I say I love finding so much stuff
left intact the light bulbs intact
there's extra belts on the wall air
hoses just all the little bits and
pieces the sample bags I well I must
admit this is a really amazing find yeah
