are Chinese men actually built different
this American woman who just got to Red
notes seems to think so let's play the
first half of this clip the men in China
are built different tell me why I've
been on Seung Shu and they're sliding in
my DMs and instead of sending me some
stupid like a dickpic or a vulgar
message they're like good morning how
are you what's it like in America and
then I'll tell them and they're like wow
that's amazing thanks and then I never
hear from them again I posted something
the other day asking for advice on how
Chinese medicine could help me with my
param menopause symptoms and do you know
I had a couple of men comment on it and
say hi I'm a man and I can't have an
opinion on this but I really hope you
find the answers that you're looking for
what did a man just admit that he can't
have an opinion on a woman's
body I'm
shth all right so um yeah I mean
basically what I think she's saying is
essentially like hey there's these
random Chinese male nisin who are
leaving comments and they just seem to
be helpful and overall non-aggressive
and just very pleasant people to share
this Internet space with you know and
I'm really not surprised because Chinese
men definitely do have this stereotype
whether it's Chinese men in America or
are still Chinese men in China where the
overall uh stereotype of being nicer
Kinder uh reliable men um maybe they'll
hold down the job maybe they will cook a
little bit more for you they're not as
traditionally patriarchal and not as
entitled which I'm going to explain why
that stereotype exists and you know what
people generally think about it listen
as a Chinese guy I have to admit like I
think that I don't know if I'm nicer
than other guys but I definitely have
heard that before in the dating realm
you know but on the flip side we know
there's a slight negative connotation to
it where maybe Chinese men also on the
flip side get called pushovers or
they're soft or maybe they don't they're
not as big
uh players and they don't get enough
women depending on who you are and what
you want out of life that could be a
positive or A negative okay so anyways I
guess my question is if Chinese men in
China act the way and have the similar
stereotypes as Chinese American guys in
the dating Market or how we interact
with women or how we treat women then it
must be in our culture right and what
other things about our culture that
might lead to this stereotype again
stereotypes are not all true and they're
definitely not 100% true but there's
usually a shred of Truth in there or
they wouldn't exist so we're going to
talk about it please hit that like
button check out other episodes of the
hot pop boys I will show the rest of her
Tik Tok after I get into this so
generally I think these are the reasons
why a lot of Chinese men on rednote AKA
Shia hong shu are not leaving any sort
of bad or negative comments um one I
think a lot of Chinese men and these are
mostly all Chinese men because this is a
Chinese app and it's mostly only used in
China um uh or it's all in Chinese I
should say so maybe it's not just
Chinese men in China it's also Chinese
men in Malaysia or Indonesia or the
Philippines but it's usually a high
level of Chinese speakers right um a lot
of Chinese men are just excited to be
conversing with an American woman who's
being nice you know so it's just like a
fun thing for them to do is to just
leave a comment back and forth and just
wish them a happy day you know um also
there is already strong censorship and
language on shaung Su as we know like
it's not an Instagram and it's
definitely not like you know it is a
more wholesome PG PG-13 maybe app at
most but essentially you know you can
bet that if you're sending a deak pick a
penis photo to a woman that like xiin
Ping's censorship team is going to see
it so just you don't want to do that
there it's just not really in the
culture it's not really promoted it's
not something obviously in America is
like hey bro if you're trying to get her
attention send her the send her the
photo you know what I mean but it's um
yeah that's more in a way acceptable in
America although it's still considered
rude but anyways um here are the
cultural reasons why I think Chinese men
are considered nicer now maybe some
people out there have dated a toxic
Chinese guy I'm not saying there aren't
toxic Chinese guys but you know the
stereotypes of Chinese men and Chinese
boyfriends and husbands it's more
positive as far as husband material now
we're going to get into it if that plays
in our favor for uh you know the fun guy
or the bad boy but definitely husband
material wise Chinese guys do have that
reputation I've heard it a lot anyways
um couple reasons why Chinese men who
obtain I guess keep Chinese culture
might be considered more Kinder is uh
strong work ethic and ability to hold
down a job um that like in in Chinese
men a lot of there are a lot of Chinese
business owners but I would say Chinese
men aren't known for taking crazy risks
um you know they kind of take the safe
route so they're reliable they'll hold
down the job they have some financial
means um and that generally means
they're more long-term thinking which
makes them better husband material
number two strong family values which if
you have strong family values and you
value the family structure then
obviously you're going to value a wife
at least structurally you know what I
mean and you're going to have to respect
them uh number three I don't think
Chinese men traditionally are taught
that being super aggressive or grabby
with women really gets them anything you
know what I mean and I'm going to get
into the deep cultural aspects of that
but overall even of the Chinese American
guys that I know that you know I've
heard plenty of you know women say like
oh Chinese guys seem to be the nicest
right now does it have its drawbacks
we're going to talk about it um another
reason is very reliable helpful
knowledgeable obviously there is a
culture of education and academics in
Chinese culture and you know a strong
culture of achievement that is
absolutely also applied to the Chinese
women and Chinese men both sides right
that's why there's so many educated
Chinese people and they go kind of go
the institutional route you know uh test
taking is a long ancient Chinese like uh
uh tradition so like they've been doing
the ancient scantrons whatever that was
during the you know the dynastic um uh
test to get into the Royal Court uh work
under the emperor like that that has
been around for thousands of years by
the way um and overall I would say that
Chinese men are considered to be or at
least
behave outwardly less entitled and
traditionally patriarchal towards women
now what I mean by this by the way I'm
not going to go on diss other Asian guys
because I think that because what I'm
what I am saying though is that you have
to think about it this way just hang
with me there is a lower woman to male
ratio in China okay so if there's more
men than women then maybe men are more
grateful for
women right okay so that's one two you
know Japan and Korea and especially
Japan do is more if they're coming out
of this age but they're still more based
on a feudal kind of Samurai gisha
culture where like women have set roles
and you know um as you know if if you
watch the show Shogun right that is
pretty historically accurate and really
in China aside from you know there was
concubines but really aside from like
the top Emperor like really I don't
think it was as prevalent and even if it
was now we're going to say modern China
with the CCP and the communism although
there was a lot of you know bad things
that came with that one of the things
was it did equalize men and women a lot
and it told and it pushed women into
education and to work just as hard as
men you know in and to be equals in that
way also within ancient Chinese culture
there are a lot of prominent female
figures whether you're talking about the
first Empress of China um even the
folklore of Mulan where this this girl
is able to save China you know what I
mean like there's there is is very
prominent strong historical Chinese
women figure so it's kind of deep within
the culture and also on a more modern
sense if you know Chinese Americans and
no Chinese people really I don't think
the family is really stopping like for
example the daughters or the sons from
dating out as you can see like we all
know like a lot of Chinese women who who
marry non-chinese or non-asians and
they're very open-minded which is fine
uh you know love who you want to love
but that's how we're raised you know in
our families it's not solely about like
hey you have to date another Chinese
person and reproduce more Chinese people
because there is not enough Chinese
babies no there is enough Chinese babies
absolutely like so and there's not like
this scarcity of Chinese people so
that's why I don't
think a lot of Chinese men and women
feel the need to mate with other Chinese
people solely they're just like yeah
well you know like there are so many of
all different types uh there will always
be a surplus of Chinese people you know
Chinese population um but yeah so also
yeah I mean you know Chinese women are
taught to be educated work hard
themselves achieve a lot you know and
they uh more or less are you know kind
of get to date who they date they're not
it's not as pressurized as you know
maybe some other cultures are um to
marry someone of the same exact like
ethn no religious lineage you know what
I mean um anyways uh let me know what
you think about those reasons but I'm
going to play the second half of her Tik
Tok where she calls out passport
Bros play the clip you know the men in
this country could really learn
something from Chinese men because when
I'm in China I get
respect you know I think these passport
Bros got something here now hear me out
hear me out instead of going overseas
and finding a traditional woman they
could go overse sees and find a
traditional man and then learn how to be
a man from him just take 5 10 minutes
off the podcast and take some
notes oh how do people feel about this
you know um yeah she's getting a little
sassy at the end of the video I don't
know the rest of her video so I'm just
basing this girl uh sinusoid off of uh
this video but yeah I mean listen what
she's feeling again Falls in line with
what a lot of people say but the thing I
would say about her when she said
why don't passport Bros go to China find
a traditional man and learn from them I
thought that was a funny way to say
things when she could have just said hey
ladies why don't you go to China and
find a traditional man and marry him so
my question of sinusoid would be this
lady is like do you actually find
Chinese men more attractive because you
know that a lot of Chinese men are
raised this way or is it that you just
wish American men would kind of shape up
their act and calm down and get less
aggressive and get less toxic you know
what I mean um which one is it are
Chinese men more attractive mates or not
you know also you
know there's a lot of nice people in
China you know uh but anyways let's get
into the comment section real
quick this guy says I think the point is
passport Bros would rather not deal with
Western women this video is probably a
good example of the types of women they
are avoiding you know uh
uh I think some people watching would
like to date her and some people
wouldn't but anyways uh I think she made
a fair point uh the next one is it's
crazy I have so many short conversations
nothing like on Tik Tok no weird
question or picks or asking for pictures
just small talk about food and traveling
in cats wow um it's funny that a lot of
people are comparing the Tik Tok comment
section to uh the Shia hong shu section
but I'll tell you this Tik Tok is
worldwide and and everybody speaks
English so you don't know where these
accounts are they might be from America
I don't want to blame all the weird Tik
Tok comments on American men you know
what I mean like it could be coming from
any country to be honest um just because
everybody kind of speaks English to uh
this level but I just think it's funny
because
like a Creator who's making a video is
thinking about how to get the most
engagement and then the person who just
watched the video and is about to
comment is also thinking how do I get
the most engagement on my comment so now
you just have double the engagement so
there's just a lot of weird comments
anyways um some uh a girl said Yes asiia
Men wrote me I said I am not looking for
a relationship he said I respect that
and I hope you will heal and don't give
up on happiness it was very nice that's
so
funny sometimes I say the same thing
when I get rejected by a girl by the way
I'm single now um but yeah uh you know
just like hey I wish you the best that's
fine it's not me it's going to be
someone else try not to be sour about it
don't be bitter about it you know it's
better to put those kind of Vibes out
there Kimberly fam said no literally
because I was clubbing in Singapore I
got invited to a table and the guys were
chitchatting with me but they were so
respectful and harmless and I never felt
harassed or in danger now that's good
that they were respectful 100% as men
should be um one thing is like sometimes
when a girl says that a guy is harmless
is that overall 100% a good thing yeah I
mean you don't want a guy who's harmful
or dangerous right but sometimes let's
be honest we know that a lot of women
are attracted to the bad boy or the Bad
Boy energy at some point in their life
maybe they don't want to marry the guy
maybe they don't want to reproduce with
the guy but I'm just
saying as nice as Chinese guys are
considered which is a good thing you
have to understand there's also maybe a
on the on the extreme end if they're too
nice then
they're too harmless and they're not
masculine enough or cool enough or
whatever you know don't have enough
testosterone or whatever you know what I
mean like that's what people some say
some people say anyways this uh I think
it's a Chinese guy who chimed in he said
we respect women sometimes being
misunderstood by foreigners to be afraid
of our wife or woman though and it's an
interesting point because I think he's
trying to say he's like hey we respect
women but don't get us wrong we're not
scared of women okay but we respect them
I think that's a great place to be I
think that's a great place to be um uh
someone said yeah they're also so poetic
and yeah honestly the Chinese language
is poetic um especially when you like
kind of translate it to English because
it's just it's just not the same
structure as English trust me English is
very literal and straight which is great
for communication but for poetry Chinese
is amazing uh because each character
like has its own meaning essentially
almost anyways in conclusion everybody I
mean what do you think about this video
This American lady talking about how
Chinese men are built differently
doesn't mean she's more attracted to
Chinese men maybe maybe maybe if you're
a Chinese American guy you want to hit
her up you're you're around her town you
know and get to know her be respectful
you know maybe she'll consider you now
more or uh maybe she's not your type I
don't know but um yeah I guess like
there's just a pro and a con to
everything but overall I would say the
stereotypes stereotypes of Chinese men
in the dating Market as far as how they
treat women
generally is considered positive for
husband material hence why I do hear for
example like I've noticed a lot of
Korean women at least maybe in New York
but they're like being told that Chinese
men make good husbands because they're
nice like if you want if you know if
your preference is to have another East
Asian guy Chinese culturally are
somewhat similar they're going to be
nice they might cook a little bit more
blah blah blah whatever that's is it
true or not you tell me so anyways guys
let me know what you think about this
woman's Tik Tok sinusoid uh did she make
a strong point you know I'm sure there's
some bad Chinese guys out there I know
there is but it's all generalizations
right anyways let me know what you think
in the comments down below and until
next time everybody I'm out peace
