Cooling-down exercises (English) from our Yang-Style Tai Chi Fundamentals for Beginners.
Just like any other exercise. After you're done, I would like you to continue a couple of minutes for some cool-down and self-massage.
Now take a deep breath. Hold the palm up. Feel connecting with the natural earth.
Gathering the positive energy from the top of the head. Lower down through the fingers.
Use your hand. The warm energy through, clears your face and your hair.
Along by your head. Take a breath in. Breathe out.
Don't forget to massage your neck.
We also can massage our ears. We have many, many acupuncture points on our ears.
If you massage and pinch your ears often, it's good for your health as well.
Bring the hands back to your lower back. Circling massage your lower back as many times as you like.
Use your loose, nice, warm fists. Gentle tapping your spine. Up and down. Very gentle.
And side to your lower back.
And also, loosening, rotating the shoulders or the joints by relaxing, loosening again.
Open the hands. Gentle tap your shoulders and back at the same time.
One, two. At the same time, twisting, relax your torso. Let your arms go. Natural.
Gentle tap. Wake up your skin. Wake up your circulation.
As many times as you like.
And it's important to tap your muscles on the legs, the quadriceps.
And also massage. Tapping gently around your knees.
All the way down to your legs.
Also, you can massage your ankles as well.
If you can, use your foot. Gentle tapping your leg.
You can hold something when you do this. If it's hard for you.
Very good.
Now, relax and squeeze your hands. Give your hands some relaxation.
Shake, shake, shake. Shake your hands and your legs. Shake it out.
Good for your tendons and muscles.
Good job. And do it again. Gathering, returning the energy.
Back to your body. Beautiful.
