WEEK IN MY LIFE 🤠💌 nancy meyers dinner party & austin trip for SXSW

welcome to another week in my life Vlog we are starting off with another dinner party in my Nancy Meers theme this week we are doing something got to give and we have a private Chef okay I'm of course finding peace in the kitchen by the way friend of mine is 30% off through tonight Sunday at midnight then we are off to Austin for South by Southwest I had a couple events I was hosting a dinner I was on the hook them panel we hosted a house guest thing for kajabi we went out a little bit it was a really fun time and of course I go to framebridge I mean it wouldn't be a keny Elizabeth Vlog without framebridge at this point anyways I hope you guys [Music] enjoy good morning y'all welcome to another week of my life I just made myself some coffee it is a big week I'm feeling very peaceful because I had a really good Wellness morning I went to a sculpt CL class walked on my treadmill sat in the sauna and then I just showered I feel amazing today we're hosting a dinner party this is the next up in my Nancy Myers series if you guys didn't know I have been hosting dinner parties theme to every single Nancy Myers movie so far we've done the holiday and then we've also done it's complicated today we're doing something's got to give I'm very excited um we actually have a chef coming which is crazy they offered to come and I was like please so I actually don't have any cooking today which is really nice and then this week is South by Southwest week so we've got a lot of events a lot of things happening we're off to Austin on Thursday if youall are new here be sure to subscribe to my pairs these I forget where they're from I haven't worn them yet they're a little bit more fun oh I think I have to wear these like with the full fit this is definitely more the vibe and then I just have some ballet flats on okay here's my fit I'm going to run an errand or two that I've been putting off we're at frame bridge now I'm really excited I'm picking up this piece of art that I got that I am like over in the moon about I have a whole new design thing that I'm working on for something else coming and I actually ordered another one of the pieces of art that I'm all getting custom I'm going to do two of them in this new place it's going to be sick um but I also am going to frame this photo this Polaroid or either or this one or maybe both of Harrison and I doing the Ina Garden episode for the hosting closet and then my sister got engaged this weekend and I took these two of her and her fiance Wyatt oh my God that's the first time I've called him her fiance that's crazy ew that was weird we're like old anyways these are really cute I'm sharing this because it's going to be a surprise at some point some sort of wedding gift but she does not watch my Vlog so we are so in the clear um and I think that these are really really cute so we'll do some sort of like hanging moment [Music] there yeah that's two white and that's probably two more um mat with the Lin or you can float with the bigger option yeah maybe they would like that yeah okay perfect I love that double stri strip no just our normal threee colors think it's a I like this color combo yeah that's I think okay perfect sadly they didn't have the piece that I thought they were going to have today I guess it was sent and it like wasn't up to their standard so they sent it back but I can pick it up next week the stuff I got frame today is so cute there's just nothing nothing nothing nothing like frame Bridge like truly when I walk into that story I come alive first off I love my co-workers there I always joke that I'm like working with them because I'm like I know everything is I put it all away I organize it like I'm like I really know the store so well and I love all the people that work there they're like actually so great like I literally just like sit there and talk to them so anyways I do need to go back in and get a couple more things for a is like the best for gifts and stuff and I love how the Harrison one is like turning out it's going to be like so cute okay I will admit Anna and I maybe went a little overboard with our anthropology order transparently I did have a discount code and I am shopping for something as we've discussed hint hint wink wink anyways that Haul is on Instagram and then I have a second one on my Tik Tok because I had a second package come which I know is crazy okay anyway Meredith our chef from fair and table showed up with these really cute menus so we were setting this table very last minute it's looking great setting up last little edits if you will we have our menus look at how cute I just got a ria PR actual Dream from true my college self is screaming it's time for me to get dressed I'm Erica Barry tonight my Vlogs these days just consist of me dressing up with some character having people over to my house and then working it's basically what I do Erica Barry loves the turtleneck and I'm just putting on this little sweater these slacks I'm adding this little sweater over it I have the perfect sweater for it and I just donated it like literally last week this isn't my best work it's really not like a random website online are those Reales yeah they were so cheap no but I'm just scared that it's going to I don't like doing this he was in the car earlier it's all right it's all right whoa there goes half of it I honestly the way that it went over the fence is so crazy I just have to say this was by far the easiest dinner party I've ever thrown our private Chef if you will Meredith from Baron table she showed up and did literally everything I made a Hugo Spritz I set the table I sent the invites I called it a day and it made me understand rich people because I understand more so why they're so focused on longevity like I too would want to live to 140 if I had a private Chef for every single meal and I was flying private you know what I mean like I'm actually like understanding them more I feel like for a while there I just like wasn't getting them and now I'm getting them so anyways I set the table that was like pretty much it it was fabulous everyone has to show up dressed in character as some something from the movie can be as niche as you want it to be okay and this just makes the night a little bit more fun I find that people lean in a little bit more and we just had the best time this dinner party I decided we needed some male energy so we invited some men that we knew if you haven't seen something's got to give it is a Nancy Meers movie I really highly recommend seeing it by the way Meredith was a genius and she made our menu really cute it was all in like act one act two like all play stuff okay because Erica the main character is a playright and it was just also thoughtful like Paris plays a really big part in the movie I I'm like am I spoiling it no I'm literally not spoiling It Anyways all of the touches to the menu were very very thoughtful and very on theme it was really fun if you guys are in Dallas highly recommend hiring her also to to create Instagram followup but we had literally the best last night it was so fun so they start this podcast and IAP good morning y'all what an amazing morning to wake up after a dinner party and my kitchen is clean I mean normally I will just clean it so I can wake up to this but I didn't have to do it and that was amazing I can recommend Meredith enough she was such an angel she loves an Gard as mem we really bonded over that she just she's the one of us one of the girls you know my face is so puffy I need to leave for my workout like 2 minutes ago I'm so tired um I'm going to work out and then today I need to go car shopping and then just get a bunch of stuff done before South by Southwest tomorrow I also need to pack plan out all my outfits all I want to do is nap a needle point literally all I want to do the game and I feel I think yeah it's just like Mason is just Jason tlor it's just a fluent Jason it's see aaall time excuse the self tanner I'm leaving for Austin in the morning and we're about to start packing all right y'all I actually got these separately not even realizing that these match and go together as a set honestly I think I'm going to get more wear out of these separately I love a longer skirt in the summer just if I'm like not wanting to show my legs or myself Tanner is messed up or something this material is really interesting it's actually like very silky and then this top I'll definitely just get a lot of wear out of this tank top the quality is insane I'm obviously not going to wear it with these bottoms I haven't zipped up the back just because there's no one here and I'm just trying it on um really for y'all but this gray tank top I feel like this is just a really good everyday and I'll be able to wear a bra with it this dress is adorable I will be wearing it to our live show this weekend how cute all of this stuff the quality feels incredible I feel like I'll get so much wear out of this and then I got this sweater these are so one I might wear this on our road trip tomorrow but best friend can be a step too far I've been married with my husband for almost four love to go through life together spend time together Etc send my friends instead the little thing like a couple weeks ago and crazy because you know you would think that I as well so I don't really know why but anyway is for you for me it's celebrity Memoir BS too because it just kind of helps me get back into the F and I didn't want to do it and so for me they are simar [Music] higher in and I got possibly I'm finishing up a little bit of work Macy's going to be here in like 40 minutes and then we are off to Austin I just want to say first off I'm wearing the Rag and Bone like sweatpant jeans these are the best things ever and for this road trip like I feel put together like ready for for the day cuz we're still working but I'm comfortable this sweater that I got from aritzia the quality is just so so good the Tanner that I've been using is very inexpensive I will link it down below cuz I really like it I think it's like $8 I'm actually pretty sure it was a Kate Davis rack and I love it and I'm just drinking my coffee I'm really excited for this weekend glad that I like rested a little bit yesterday I feel like I just needed to recharge my social battery before a very busy busy weekend of social stuff and like hosting stuff for work oh no so many emails literally in the past hour I think I have WN these gift cards wait 10.93 yeah for two yeah meal biggie bag it's a $5 biggie bag wait yep wa oh my God I think there's money on this in high school my boyfriend got me that like Frosty keychain thing yeah you would get like free frosties for a year it really did expire this is making more sense2 like that always felt like so long ago or so far ahead yeah we go thank you have a good day it's okay we'll figure it out M surprised us just now it was crazy she went in and got us these thin mint frosties I went to the bathroom and there was a big sign for the themit frosties and I could never turn a treat down I should have known there was going to be a big I was up to something yes okay well I love frosties and I love it's really good oh wow mhm I really like it it's really good wow guys the girl was really excited that I ordered it she's like really she's like it's really good I was like that's how you know when they like make a little like that cuz they're not getting the bonus for that no when they feel like passionate about it they're Chomps at trer Joe's and the guy goes one for every day of the week I was like why' you have to bring that up there's something about it like it just like gives me anxietate it's intimate that's what it is it is intimate yeah like no one needs to know what I'm getting from Trader J yeah guys I have a call at my Kenzie's driving my car like the boss babe that is boss babe I'm a follower when it comes to any of Macy's sporters so we got black tea I just always know the vibe uh just like a Arnold Palmer Vibe black te lemonade cuz I just had that Frosty I know you didn't really have much ears I did it was really good it was so good like milk like I just felt like that was going to be like a little too yeah I felt like the coffee was kind of going to do me in but I felt very tired no me too and I knew that was going to happen so maybe that's why chickfila would have been better but we're not going to harp on it no I think that we were really going back and forth on our lunch options today and I think we made the right choice we did like it's a tradition and what are we going to do like neglect that exactly and here's the thing we weren't craving Chick-fil-A today on Sunday we're going to be begging for it I'm going to be on my hands and knees knees like crying to it's going to be hard oh my gosh that's actually insane how the ETA went up an hour that's what happens when your ETA is 3:30 your ETA should never be 3 ETA should never ever be never oh you're going to love that it's everything update on my drink reading this is what we got and it's everything that I could ever need a more IC black tea lemonade no classic you can just add some sweetener of your choice we're over halfway through the trip so we should be there shortly our tags are expired mine's nine mine also yeah 824 mine's like 923 or something insane I license expired yeah everything's expired also I don't have my registration in here so like let's just listen let them Ma let them let them pull you over let them Let's do an episode of taking to let them they too far my life is an episode of taking the left of the too far we made it to the hotel we're staying in a hotel tonight and then we're going to a friends tomorrow but guys I just have to say after wearing these jeans sweatpants like on a road trip for the full day I mean I've worn them before I feel like I just like didn't get the full I don't know like today there's something that happened these jeans just changed everything I feel one so much more put together two they're the most comfortable things I've ever worn I need every single wash I think they only have two washes I'm wearing a size medium by the way and I'm normally like a 28 29 in jeans but these are the best things that have ever happened to me so if you guys have been thinking about pulling the trigger getting them the Rag and Bone like I truly truly just cannot recommend them enough let's just give you guys a little another view like these are everything okay I'll have them linked they're also on my shop my but Kenzie said she wanted to write a poem about them so I started one while I was in the bathroom okay let's hear it are they a pant I really can't they're more than that they don't make me feel fat they are sweats place all my bets on Rag and Bone I'm working on the last line me you are such a talent no one talks about it like you're so good at everything no one besides me on Rag and Bone pick up the phone yes I want to Bone yes yes okay that's perfect and guys it gets even better we have a $25 voucher okay we are so excited when told me that I go shut up I'm like over the moon we're going get where we're saying oh we're at a courtyard and I feel like I'm the princess of J all we cared about was that do they have Mars like and they do and they do at the restaurant called Champions I could not be happier that I am right in this moment this is exactly what I needed hi you doing today good how are you thankk you thank you oh much fun it was such a great group of girls and such an honor to be asked to host a dinner party with them so we went to Aba we obviously played some cards we hung out we caught up I met a lot of the Austin girls and oh here are some of my dear media Girls we Just had a really really good time I also clearly rediscovered a margarita this past weekend in Austin like I don't know what I either drink literally nothing at all or like here we are so anyways it was really great the next morning we were up and on a walk we got two coffees before it was even probably 9:00 a.m. and we of course got our steps in I don't know why you guys literally don't care that we got coffee and on our stepson like I should quit vlogging honestly like this is just so boring okay bye oh wait I record recorded this because this is actually what it's like to be around mey like I had no idea I just saw her recording as I came out of the bathroom nothing was said no warning [Music] nothing all right yes guys I'm wearing the same sweater that I wore yesterday anyway moving on did you wear it on the way yeah I didn't know I had another wardrobe malfunction that's been the theme of this trip but like starting tomorrow my outfits are killing it I'm jealous you have like more options I brought more options for you too thank you all Reformation that's nice I'm wearing Macy's Reformation jeans and we're going to go those ones are actually made well made well jeans but I'm wearing mation ones cute they're literally the same and my Reformation white top but like guys I Define reformation to the ground but like this white top it's like not wowing me like I love my Old Navy and target white tops like it's cute like it's good but it's not like I remember years ago when they ref like $50 Reformation white t-shirts we like all the rage I never got that but we're on our way to lunch I'm recording with Hannah chy in like 30 minutes so I might just get a mark and go and then tonight I have a dinner with last time that I like really really vlogged last night it was a dear media Nicole Miller dinner which was so fun and we woke up this morning and Amelia had our coffees waiting for us in the fridge look at this with our little to-go cups like incredible so anyways Macy and I just got ready we're actually about to head out to a panel that I'm on I'm speaking on the hookum panel like the UT Austin thing so it'll be really fun and then later this evening we have like our fake live show so it's very last minute and we're basically doing like a 30 minute like panel thing where everyone's like going to come we'll play the bit it'll be fun um and we leave tomorrow oh we have an event in the morning too oh yeah AR you forgetting about that yeah okay and think we're making cowboy hats tell them Macy looks bad Macy looks incredible Macy's looking extra stunned today this is my outfit Reformation just giving business woman guys myy and I were just chatting and I looked down some Freddy hasn't been out in like 2 years just a Conrad bracelet like where did the D even come from where did that come from this is giving this is giving the time I was about to walk down the aisle like as a bridesmaid and I had this like Texas forever bracelet on and I was like do I take this off was like yes we arrived at hookham house I was speaking on a panel about creators this was such an honor I would like to say if I went to a normal College in Texans at beut but like would I've gotten in honestly probably not but it's okay here we panel that we have today um I'm a former TV news anchor here in Austin been here a long time now I do a lot of freelance media work MC events more at UT and the founder and CEO of the wildly successful snoops Kenzie yes Kenzie is widely recognized as the host of dear media's podcast house guest her YouTube channel and home and Lifestyle brand friend of mine Ming more than 44 million YouTube views 12 million podcast downloads and creating a special kind of much more as a Creator entrepreneur and Industry Trailblazer who has worked in the influencer space for more girls who like doing YouTube like makeup tutorials and favorites videos and I look back now and I'm like you're 15 years old we had like no idea what we were talking about I think because it is such a personal brand it's easier to vet things and say yes or no because they're yeah I definitely agree with what jman and Kenzie are saying beautiful they're beautiful I know just finished the hook and panel it was really fun we ran into a lot of friends there Macy had a great time oh ready for our live show guys we're having a tough time today no one knows what it's like to be us but I'm glad you don't we're just having a day we're like guys the humidity in Austin like we're just not adjusted to it so like we're obsessed with our blowouts right now the blowouts are like every we just feel not amazing do it's annoying as soon as we get back we're going to feel so cute no I know as soon as we have no plans no plans no people coming to see us on a stage wait stage yeah I mean it's not like a real show it's literally 30 minutes we just have to get up and we'll to be fine and hang out I'm just like scared that there's going to be like straight men oh well here's some problem is that so guys basically there's this thing called kajabi they're like a huge main sponsor of South by South blast they're partnering with dear media dear media needed someone to do like a live show it's not a real live show it's not like when if you guys went to like the Dallas live show or something it's not like that it's just like us on stage but it's just funny because it's like it's going to be I mean obviously there are definitely people that like will come to not definitely I say St right there are people allegedly coming to see us someone told me last night that she was coming and I was like are you being like are you pranking me are you being for real um no I've got a bunch of names from girls who are coming but it's just like we're like tired kind of delusional kind of ugly Kenzie won't say that but I will my S is bullying me in the bathroom and told me I was ugly no guys it was all me no she was like I'm like the person who would like leave a hate comment cuz I'm so miserable about my life but like I'm in person so I'm going to do it here no like it's like those people are like no one that's like happy with their lives would like comment hate and I'm like that's me right now that's so real like if I like if there was like a hate chat for me right now I'd be participating yeah you would be on your own snark page I guess like I agree oh girl like Macy here Macy here literally hate her it's worse than you can imagine so anyways it's really bit of time for us um I need to call our Uber oh no we don't I know isn't that dark I also like need a coffee I hope they have a coffee this rest Martini perhaps I mean if you want me to have a heart attack do you remember my like I was going to say we didn't talk back is bad Fort Worth my expresso Martini yeah yeah I like we were going to Fort Worth you're having a Fab day guys literally the best yor ever I know I talk about on the podcast all the time Lumi you have to get the toasted coconut scent is it natural no but it's like it's aluminum free it's like really yeah well I'm not allowed to say it's natural and a oh so it's aluminum free but it was made by an OBG in I think it's like house gu 20 or something like whenever I don't have it I'm like I order it immediately I miss it like it's one of my like all like holy holy holy gra products yeah it smells amazing wait let me guess and when I work out I already told you oh do you like the smell yeah I do whenever I work out people are always like you smell amazing and it's literally the stuff it's so good anyways um guys here's what I'm wearing it's just like I just put cream products over my powder me too I put like a concealer over my yeah this boots Jenny bird bun cuz I just like I had to give up on like my Austin time and honestly like what are you going to do I just you know when you look at yourself and you're like I don't look like myself right now like I'm having one of those experiences and we're having them together syn up we just kind of like washed our minds and Macy almost had like a panic attack no literally so so I hate to say there are two ler peals in Austin We're supposed to be at the one of rainy so you walk in I like think I'm meeting like dear media and I'm like where is everyone I'm like this is the last time I do a guinea cake thing like I'm like oh my God this is after both of us spiraling while getting ready yeah we're like literally who like it's supposed to be like like show after show after show like there's no I'm like really confused then we call them we at the wrong on so we are going to be running late now even though we were early we were very early we actually were early and we were looking around we were asking no we asking people like there been live shows here yeah have you seen me one all day so just also my hair is not staying like this it kept sticking to my hey girl don't worry you're beautiful just how you are I just couldn't hate on your hair then like have hair like this we ended up making it to kajabi in fine timing we were just being dramatic and also the wind was insane it was freezing cold so here we are finally with our cute little panel quote live show it was a cute little like 30 minute thing at kajabi which was really fun when we got to the right location after we you know had our little Dramatics okay we're pering some posts do you want mine with the text yeah you don't care when have I ever care you act like I'm this like crazy like the show was really fun and then we went out for a little bit I have about 5 minutes of Macy doing just this which guys look at her Talent she's actually genuinely good like you cannot tell me that Macy is not a good dancer anyways it doesn't matter where we go she's always working she's always on the job and we had a really fun time this is like again when I say I either don't drink at all or this is what we look like Macy's actually like probably sober for the record like I don't even think she had a single drink at this point this is just kind of how she is so anyways I really hope you guys enjoy enoyed
