PRODUCTIVE WORK WEEK IN MY LIFE 🏡🐓 going on the news, photoshoots & prepping for Q4 launches

I'm finally getting a new car. This has been the three-year-long saga of me talking about how I need to get a new car. Just one thing about me is that, like, I'm going to talk about how I need to get a new car, but I'm not actually going to, like, go through the steps to get a new car. I'm just, like, not a car girl. Anyway, I'm off to the office right now. It feels amazing in Dallas. It's, like, in the 60s, 70s, and it's late September. It's, like, the first week of fall. It was raining this morning. It was cozy, like, everything you could ever possibly need. I'm heading off to the office right now. We have a lot that we need to get done. And then tomorrow we're shooting again, and I'm also in the news in the morning and it's Christmas So we need to like decorate for Christmas So we have another car that just like brought over a bunch of stuff for my house to the office But it's gonna be a really good very productive busy busy week, and I'm so excited Oh my god Also our Christmas needlepoint samples finally came in the mail and I can show you guys them guys well I've decided that I can show you guys them because you guys are vlog viewers So you deserve to see it and they are so good like literally so good We did five drops in October. So right now we are just like crazy crazy busy. We're also trying to hire It's just a lot is happening. This is truly like such a beautiful sight to see These tassel ornaments. I got them from Anthropologie I had this in my brain and I searched it and of course Anthropologie already made them. They're So cute like I'm obsessed. The office tree is going to be literally just tassels all over I cannot wait. Alright guys, we have our Christmas stuff set up pretty much for the most part We actually have an entire drop that I haven't shared with you guys just yet We're currently taking those to the shoot, but I figured I might as well show you Christmas this time This is launching in early December. We also have our fall stuff that's launching in October so lots of needlepoint drops I'm thinking about opening up like some sort of like waitlist or something email wise so it's easier for drops But I'm like still working that through but if you guys be interested, let me know Okay, this collection is big. I'm gonna go through it really quickly. I really love this I think with the fall one is my favorite, but I've been going back and forth like this Christmas tree guys I'm obsessed like it's so So good, and then we also have this little mini Christmas tree. That's cute as like a bag charm or really quick ornament this Beautiful. I love our like 18 mesh scenes what we call them like the larger project this by far is my favorite like hello How insane is that obsessed this little ornament? Which is cute like as an ornament when it's stitched as an ornament this one obsessed like perfect Then we have a little Christmas drink, which is always really fun This Merry Christmas Canvas like she's kind of everything I like how she's really classic But just a super fun stitch and then we have some Christmas presents the next two I think we're gonna be y'all's favorite Dolly wrapped in lights. I've wanted a Dolly wrapped in lights Since we started Dolly I was like we need to do that for Christmas and I want to get really like creative With the fibers that I use but I'm just obsessed with her and then wait guys. I'm dying a gingerbread Dolly How unbelievable I really want to do this as like an irregular really small pillow pillow how fun is that like it's so good and then we have these two which are beautiful beautiful pillows imagine this like with a ruffle me with everything imagine this but with a ruffle okay anyway i love these the office is a mess but we have like most things up and going i've been working on a bunch of stuff we've been taping a ton of canvases for photo shoots like i said we have five launches this month so just getting a lot of things done around the office I'm feeling a lot better and it does feel like Christmas guys this looks really crazy I guess I can show you guys now because this will be a part of the vlog we are launching like machine done needlepoint which is really great I don't have everything here but I can show you guys the three stockings and two of my favorite of the pillows we went with our actual stockings that we have for needlepoint So you guys can either stitch these or buy them pre-stitched. So this is our classic t-wall This right here is our like cottage that I'm Obsessed with it's so good. And then this one is adorable and it's our Christmas village Then we have these pillows breadwinning housewife and then cereal hobbyist. Sorry guys I feel like lately the vlogs have been so like this is product that we're selling and blah blah blah But like that is like really all I'm doing right now So trying to kind of like find them between we have one more pillow and we have three ornaments Which we're I think they're at the house right now. So we need to grab them overall We need to add a green screen set up back here But overall this is like pretty much done and good to go for Hayley to come in and like decorate the rest of it and Set it all up. I'm So obsessed with these tassels like these are So good. We're back home from the office. We just started or I just started head lasso yesterday Charlie's having me watch it. Okay, but I made this a buffalo chicken dip I didn't blend it because we don't have a blender here right now yesterday from Danielle's TikTok it's just like greek yogurt cottage cheese shredded chicken cheddar cheese it's a very healthy like buffalo chicken dip it should be blended but like we just didn't do that today and apparently it's really good charlie just tried it i don't know where he tried it maybe over there i tried it looks good oh look good it does look good for like a healthy buffalo chicken dip it smells good i like everything in it so yeah i just got my makeup done and i'm about to get dressed to go on to the news here's what i'm thinking i feel like i have to wear the house purse one because i'm just so obsessed with it and two i'm going on the news for needlepoint so i feel like it just like has to happen this dress i got from Reformation i wore it to one of our pop-ups and it's just like so good and i feel like it's just like the perfect news dress you know it's still fun these shoes but i don't want to be like too serious these shoes guys i have worn these and these so many times we use them in so many photo shoots i bought them like six years ago from Sam Edelman. Most of my shoes are Sam Edelman like if not like I would say like 80% outside of my cowboy boots are all Tacobas. Like all of them are Sam Edelman. They're so good and you would be shocked by how much wear I've gotten out of these shoes. They're just so fun. They add something to every outfit and like I love this vibe. So I'm gonna put this on. Here's the dress she's perfect I love her and then my shoes my house purse obviously um I washed my hair last night and I normally like I don't wash my hair without like giving myself a blowout unless I'm just like wearing it now for the whole time but I slept on it wet and I guess like there's something in my hair right here and I couldn't get it out this morning and it was too late to like re-wash my hair and it's both sides I have no idea I put a bunch of product in last night but I must have just like not dispersed it well so I'm just gonna be hiding that all day and then we're going straight to the office because we have a photo shoot and my outfit for the shoot is there right now but I have my clothes for my actual work day guys I'm just obsessed like also thank you so much for all the positive feedback on the purse like everyone's so excited about it and I really just like I didn't know how I was gonna do because this isn't really something that's like you don't really see this a needlepoint of time right now at least and I'm just so grateful everyone's been like so nice and supportive on our Instagram and we've like we're really going into the direction like taking friend of mine into the direction like I've always wanted to at a higher quality with better shoots and just like a lot more creative we've never really like had the budget or resources or times to like make it what I want it to be and of course it could always be better there's always more things that I want to do but it's definitely like leaning way more into like what I've always seen the brand to be and our creative directors doing such an amazing job we work like very closely together and i'm just so grateful so anyway i'm like obsessed with this outfit it's so like i don't know it's like so me it's so fun i thought about wearing my chicken but i'm like you know at a certain point it does come to a point where like maybe today is not the day but it kind of is good morning to our 10th friend Kenzie Elizabeth who has 44 million youtube views 12 million podcast downloads clearly you're doing something better than the two of us are. So like knitting, needlepointing, which is my personal favorite, baking, sourdough. I feel like Mahjong could kind of teeter into that. Games. I just feel like the grandmas are really on to something, and we should learn from it. It's just a slower life, right? Taking time for yourself and taking time not to scroll and do whatever you may do. It's kind of nice, a grandma hobby. How hard is, can you, I mean, can we do a little? I'm heading off to the office. our landscapers are coming Marigold Landscaping and they're the best and they're doing a little fall refresh which like thank god our little area out there needs it so desperately because it was the fourth hottest summer in texas history and we were gone and like it just needs a little refresh and they're the best if you guys are in like i think they do San Antonio too if you guys are in texas period they are so amazing like they literally they came in they did a consultation for me i told them what i liked they came back they gave me like their ideas and i was like perfect let's do it they installed everything in like half a day you guys maybe saw it like months ago when we did it I'm obsessed with them I think that's them here right now but I'm just showing you my outfit Charlie's getting the door Reformation top Zara shorts I actually might just show you in the mirror because this shows a little bit better I'm wearing my I cannot stop wearing this purse like this is not because it's launching it's like I'm just obsessed and then I have Tory Burch boots as always these are the Abbey and they're navy and I love them they're just the best So anyway, I'm heading off to the office. We are meeting with Healing Hands of Texas this morning, which I will talk to you guys about in the car because it's like the most insane story. And then we have some meetings and then we're filming the crawl YouTube video today for the Dallas Needlepoint stores, which I'm very excited for. All right, guys, sorry. We're at the office I just finished meeting with the woman who runs Healing Hands, which is an organization that helps seniors with chicken therapy Literally a dream. We'll be doing so much with them. So excited about this the new gray malin painting the office is a mess We've got a lot of things to do, but we need to go film a youtube video So we're leaving to do that in the next couple of days. I'll get my life back in order. So we're hanging some things It'll be good. Um, here's the update on my nantucket canvas. It's looking really good I've gone in and really done so much. I started adding french knots I need to go in and finish the sky but like majority of it is done. I probably have another 12 hours at least honestly, I could be completely off. It's coming along and it looks so So so good. It looks insane with these french knots right now, but like once it's all filled in It's gonna be perfect. I am biased But also Dallas is in my opinion the best needlepoint city We have so many stores It's so many needlepointers like to me Dallas is the Mecca of needlepoint outside of like, you know Maybe like Nantucket without further ado. I also got that Medicube like neck wrinkle thing. I don't know. This is peace It's kind of raining outside. This is so perfect. So I did the math This is actually your first reveal to the hobbyist collection. So you guys just always get to know so I'm doing selects right now And then I'm gonna make dinner tonight. I'm doing like a little pasta bake moment I also really want to get some stitching done like I would love to do that actually so sick. Good morning guys It's like 7 a.m. It feels like so weird outside and my lens. It's so humid It's just fogging up. It actually is slightly raining barely at all. Okay, I have to go this is insane Oh my god guys the office when it rains I know I've vlogged here once before when it was you know what I do think it rained here one other time It's been like a huge thing in Texas guys Anyway, when it's raining the vibe is just so good and the office right now is a mess don't get me wrong like there's lots that needs to happen but the vibe when it's raining is so good like it's 7:45 right now and this just feels like the perfect morning I cannot wait for this to be done and set up it's gonna take some months we're gonna wallpaper we're gonna do a lot here we're gonna paint the black someone give me a paint color please please please so I figured now is as good of a time as any to show you guys the hobbyist collection since I've already like shown you so many sneak peeks. I can actually show you guys the product. So here's our jacket in all her glory. How Perfect. I love a jacket top. Okay, so I was like this is 100% what we need to be doing. I'm obsessed We went between this will be hot went through a couple of sample iterations and stuff But we ended up going with the chocolate brown For like the piping and the buttons and the collar and guys like it's just perfect perfect so everything is in this matching fabric this that i've been using for months was actually the very first sample of this bag and i've been using it as my work bag as my carry-on bag for everything because you can fit so much stuff in here it's so nice there's like a laptop sleeve even like everything that you could ever fit the quality is unreal the thing is we didn't love this buckle so we ended up going with a different one which i think looks so much better but since this is a sample I've just been using it non-stop it is the best like Mary Poppins catch-all bag it fits everything it's so chic so I'll show you guys the final okay guys welcome to my desk I can't wait until the background is cute okay the first thing is obviously our bag with the buckle this buckle is so chic like I'm obsessed with her look at how good this is so same bag the only thing that we changed was the buckle and I just think like she's perfect she's absolutely perfect then we have these little pouches this can be used as a mahjong tile bag it obviously can be used as anything and then we have the hobbyist tag which is on everything um this fits a set of tiles for mahjong or again you can use it for quite literally anything whatever you want we also have this little like coin purse situation but there is a magnet in here so you guys like obviously again the hobbyist tag like these are very very very well made like we put our heart and soul into these okay there's a magnet in here so that when you want to put like needles and needle minders and stuff in here it'll all like situate the bag which is really nice also sorry it's kind of slanted because i'm holding it wrong but i also just like die for a tassel like growing up all of my favorite things that my mom's and grandma's shop were tassels and like obsessed and I like a very specific tassel but for these that wouldn't work for that and I love these anyway so we just like incorporated tassels with wherever we could anyway this is a really cute coin purse to hold like your needles needle minders snag nabbit like any sort of like tool that you need but also to be honest with you like I will be using this as a clutch like when I go to Europe and I'm wearing that jacket at night like I will be wearing this like this is just the cutest thing ever to wear as like a little mini purse. I'm obsessed. And then, oh, we also have, of course, a matching Mahjong bag with the hobbyist here. Um, but I mean, hello, she is perfect. Everything in all of her glory. Okay. Now let's open up the rest of this stuff. Oh, and it does fit. I don't know if anyone cares. I I've been using it as my carry on. It does fit under the front seat really well, which is convenient okay we have a couple of these we have a mahjong folio so you can put your cards in here like how perfect is that I just love this I'm I love I love her and then I actually have a couple I have one in here because we I've been using these for months so I already have my stuff in there this is the bag that oh there's also a longer strap if you want that this is the bag that I use the most because I use it for so many different things again we had the tassel because I've loved them since I was a child this fits everything like I put some of my needlepoint projects in it we wanted to make it a little bit bigger so that there's actual room for like a larger project you can obviously like roll into whatever you want but I use this non-stop I just bring this with me everywhere it's kind of like my on-the-go hobby bag I'll throw in my needlepoint project the book that I'm reading my kindle like if you're knitting you can put the knitting stuff in here um basically anything you could ever need but it's like a bigger size which is really really cute and again everything matches so I love her we will be launching these on the 22nd when you guys see all the stuff that we did on Instagram I need the I need you guys to be like oh my god greatest thing ever so like I don't get in trouble for showing this a couple days early but I just love her we have been working on these for like well over a year now I'm very very very happy about this like this is just I'm so happy with how it turned out and they came out like this has been a dream come true between the house purses and this bag like these are the two things that I was like I want to see this happen not as soon as possible like I just wanted to see it happen like this I felt very strongly about them for a friend of mine and I'm really happy that they're all launching at the same time so not at the same time in the same month and I'm so excited it's what a good month for drops October has been and will be so anyway here she is in all her glory i'm obsessed with her she's so good so so good we only have ecom shots left because our photographer for ecom has been out of town but as far as the actual photo shoot goes that was what we shot whenever we were in Connecticut when i went to Connecticut like i was after our stitch tour like our last stitch tour stop and the team just did such a good job like it looks unbelievable i'm so happy with it so anyway um i am gonna go through some stuff with Charlie and oh guys do you think that these frames are too gray I think next to the black they would definitely look gray they're supposed to be like a sage green but they're like so muted as a sage green they almost look gray and I hate gray however they are inexpensive frames and I feel like I can paint them if I really hate them and they're the exact size I was looking for frames can just get so expensive which I understand but like I'm doing a gallery wall it's like not a gallery wall here's the thing about me is I'm actually really picky when it comes to gallery walls and I don't like a lot of them even though like I have the hosting gallery wall we're about to frame some stuff over there maybe and then this but it's gonna be like a uniform one I just have to figure out what I want to actually frame because that is an important aspect of this and part of me is like maybe I just go for like vintage magazine covers of home magazines you know what I'm saying throughout like the past couple of decades I think that could be cool because it also incorporates color I don't want it to be like too crazy like kitschy almost but that might work I don't know I'm not gonna go I don't want to rip any of my Martha Stewart Living collection like that's not happening I'll like look on Facebook marketplace and see but I have been thinking like maybe that would be cool as like a nod to like this is a home and hobby brand you know what I mean so anyway just thinking out loud here I'm a little worried about like do you guys think this is sage green or gray like it's leaning too gray for me it is technically sage green on the website but like i don't know i've got to figure that out and i've also just gotta get this stuff painted and then i think we'll be good guys once again Nancy Meyers just commented on my instagram probably because i just posted the intern dinner party let's see what she said hearts i'm so desperate guys i'm just obsessed with her obsessed literally always the best day ever um but her daughter follows me on instagram now so i feel like a little bit more chill like i have to like calm down you know what i'm saying anyway we had a really exciting meeting then we i just went and restocked a ton of canvases as always got again this feels like an infomercial before my eyes but always sign up for our waitlist because you get notified immediately so you're the first one also we just have a chair back here that looks weird and i'm getting stuff done we're doing like a course thing for the team once faith gets back and it's been a good day so far. Then I went and picked up a bunch of fabrics which we're going to go through. We need to figure out what we're doing for photo shoots for a lot of like ecom products. We are doing, I think this vlog will be up by this point, but we're doing a collaboration with Spicy Dan. I don't have the necklace yet but we're doing a dolly charm. I'm so excited. I love Spicy Dan. I love Danielle the founder. I love the brand. I've had their stuff for a couple of years i met her actually at Chukovas in Fort Worth and i followed her like prior because i'd seen her stuff online she's known for like a really big like chunky beaded necklaces with the chains or not with the chains with the charms and like it's just the best quality necklace like i'm obsessed with their stuff so i'm really excited we're doing a little needlepoint collaboration with her so we have a bunch of like these cute little canvases like the dolly is literally everything And then we have a necklace from them, but that stuff um is dropping soon. It's just a quicker turnaround with us We're also doing an event in New York We're going through paint samples to see for the color of the doors, and I actually love this one What do you guys think like it's hard because the lighting changes in here so much and also Now it kind of looks like yellow or cream, but maybe it's because it's against the black. Yeah, maybe that'll oh I don't even know how to do that, but like that I feel like it's good because it's not like so white and it's still creamy, but like I really like it actually happy saturday we're back at the office because i have a ton of work that i need to catch up on we also had some furniture and like decor deliveries come thank god slowly but surely we're like able to start organizing i just had boxes come in which is going to be great i have lamps and it's been so dark in here because for some reason like this side of the room the lights don't work so that has to get fixed and then it's just been really gloomy this week so need some lamps this is the stuff i get so excited for now we have a lot of like random knickknacks around here that we've used for photo shoots that i don't want to like get rid of because i'm sure we could use it for something else in the future so like for example these cute little like doll seating situations fun i'm actually sure like we could use there's just like things that we can use anyway last night we went to jack and harry's for like an early birthday dinner for charlie with his brother and wife and that was really fun and then today I have some friends coming over I think it's later tonight I'm just gonna make dinner for us but I really would just feel a lot better if I just like caught up on some stuff so that's what I'm doing oh no oh a little late these are supposed to be our stocking these will be returns um our stocking holders I mean I guess maybe I think we might use these for photo shoots so I'm gonna keep these I got a new sewing machine you guys are not ready for my sewing era it's gonna be insane oh my goodness guys my guys Washington Post article just went live she's famous it's crazy she's got one with people coming out next like what can't that woman do I'm really sorry this was such a product heavy vlog I'm honestly having a really hard time with vlogging because especially being in the office like you can see the product it's already hard to do because like I all I do is really like work on front of mine and then work like uploads and all the video stuff and whatever so I feel like the vlogs just get so boring and then I'll have weeks where I'm like okay I'm doing a home project and whatever um I really don't mean for it to be super salesy and like pushing it's just like this is genuinely what I'm doing so I'm gonna need to figure something out to balance it I think that like decorating the office will be fun and like seeing some of the behind the scenes and like recipes and whatever will be good soon it's just been like really really really crazy like I'm so over I'm just like busy and overwhelmed and like I'm very lucky I'm very grateful this is like my dream come true but we are just a lot's happening this has been a big year for a friend of mine so anyway I hope you guys enjoyed this vlog um just picture this cream door wallpaper stuff hung like I could cry anyway I love you guys so much and I will see you guys in my next video
